I find myself duplicating the current tab pretty often. How can I use a shortcut to achieve this quicker?
"Show tab previews in the Windows taskbar" is one of the Firefox features i use most in Windows.
Can it be done in Linux?

Hello,
I'd like to set up (somehow) an automatic redirect for specific websites, taking me to a pre-defined profile. Is this possible?
Thanks

I find one infuriating problem with Firefox. When on a tab with sound, the 'silence' icon (the little loudspeaker) is right next to the 'kill' icon (the stylized 'X'). They are no more than a millimeter apart. For those of us with any shake this means it is far too easy to hit the wrong one. I have lost count of the number of times I have tried to silence a page for a bit and completely wiped it out instead and had to re-start the page and hunt through the video to find where I was up to. It is bad or me, it must be terrible for people with severe parkinsons disease or any other shake problems. Would it not be possible to create a customising option to separate these, or even just remove the kill X when the sound is on, as it is rare anybody would want to kill a page in mid-speech. Then if you've had enough, just silence it, then kill it.
Does Firefox have a 'suggestions box' I could stick this in? - thanks, John

My most used feature and the reason I set Firefox as my main browser was (is) the possibility to take screen pictures, even to choose exactly what part of the screen to screenshot.
I've always done this by right clicking the mouse and chosing the relevant option in the menu: but as of two days, the icons are gone, only text is available and it's rather confusing (and time wasting, as I actually have to READ the oprions before finding the right one).
Did I mess up in any way?^ Or was it an update? I would love to get the scissors bak in there, please?!
Thank you, Berit
Please advise

A few minutes ago I had this error, I searched all over the internet but nobody gave a concrete solution.
I tried everything: clear cookies, reset firefox, etc.
The only person who gave a solution was to restore windows in a clean installation.
It turns out that for a rare reason my computer woke up with the time misconfigured, I configured it and tried to access some files that I had in google drive, but it showed that error and it had been trying to solve it for 2 hours. Well, it turns out that I had set the time wrong and instead of putting "AM" I put "PM" that is to say, it was 12 hours apart.
I configured everything again and with the correct time and that solved the problem, I hope someone will use this information.

In the address bar, when I want to go in one click to the first result that is not a search suggestion, is there a way to accomplish that (instead of arrow down for x amount of times)? A subpar alternative would then be to disable search suggestions of course.

I got the notification recommend me to refresh my firefox at the bottom, which only states that it will make my firefox run faster. But it didn't mention it will delete all my add-ons, reset my layouts, mess up my about:config settings. Which lead to unwanted automatic update download and installation. This is completely BS.

Hello,
Hope you're all well and safe
I download a lot of images on Firefox for different purposes and most time I end up with 20 or so tabs to download from
This got me wondering if there's a way to use the "Save Image As..." context menu (right click) without having to specify the file name and destination directory each time
Can this be configured in Firefox? If not, are you aware of any add-on that provides such a feature?
Using Firefox 93.0 (64-bit) on Windows 10
Thanks in advance,
Regards, John

Please tell me how to make these pop-ups, described above, disappear from my screen. Most of my searches involve going from webpages to private files on my computer, and these pop-ups obscure text in these webpages. If I don't want to keep it doing that, I have to move my whole window down, which also causes me not to see important text.

Is there any way of making sure it works consistently? I need to right click then click "Open Link in New Tab" to have it work reliably. Maybe something in about:config? Using latest Win7 64 bit Firefox. I've noticed this for probably 2 years now at least. Not sure if it ever worked 100%.
