Some websites that should have pictures or animations within the body of their text are not showing up any more (the animations). Also, some websites have buttons to click that no longer work; it's not that any info is missing from input fields; the buttons simply don't work. Actual Example: I recently reformatted my hard drive a few days ago & re-downloaded and installed Firefox. Sometime later on, I signed into my McAfee account, although I kept receiving webpage error messages after sign-in stating the webpage I was seeking didn't exist. However, upon clicking on other buttons, it turned out I was actually signed-in. I went ahead and went to the download section of my account to re-download and install McAfee. No matter how many times I clicked the download button, nothing would happen. I established a chat session with McAfee Support; the Support Agent replied that others had complained about the same thing while using Firefox and the issue had been communicated to Mozilla, who supposedly knows about this and is working on a fix. The tech support agent advised me to use some other browser to download McAfee; I used Edge and the issue was successfully side-stepped. In the meantime, other websites that always have embedded animations or buttons to click don't work any more, either. Firefox has been my default browser of choice for years, but I have to go through the inconvenience to signing-out of whatever website I'm on and re-sign into that website again with Edge; a real pain. Please fix ASAP, and please give us a heads-up when this might be fixed, thanks.

When I try to save a Google doc, I get "Something went wrong" error message. I've tried all of Google's troubleshooting tips plus contacted Google support with no success. I can save Google docs successfully in Chrome, but Firefox is my preferred browser. Google support asked me to check if I had Firefox set up to block Google drive, but I didn't know how to check for that. They told me Tools>Options>Privacy, but I don't see "Options" under the "Tools" menu.

I notice that this issue with Google docs started after I got the pop-up on 10/31/22 from Firefox about their new themes and tabs. I accidentally clicked "yes" and now have another problem. I can't read the screen and can't figure out how to go back to the default setting. Community says to try a different theme, but none of them works for me. I just want to go back to the default setting for themes and tabs. Not sure if this issue with themes caused the problem with Google drive.

I don't want any part of my sites exposed to the wider internet, so I'm not going to have ssl certificates.

I don't want to use self signed certificates either. Since it's all local, http is fine. Firefox should not override access of http to https.

At this point, I can only assume this is a bug?

Hi, I just updated firefox and it changed all the visual settings. I managed to change the colour but now when i go to Google drive it looks very different. It's very bold and everything is outlined.

I opened my drive in Chrome and it was normal. Does anyone know how to change this! Fro someone that is sensitive to visuals i can't handle it!

when i am using firefox and i am switching between my word app the web page being displayed it will say expired when returning to it when i am only off the program to paste a word. What can I do to prevent having to refresh and confirm every time??

Since the latest version of FF was installed. I can rarely make attachments to emails or upload to websites. I'm having to use another browser for this purpose. I never had this issue until this version. Nothing else on my PC has changed.

Firefox has blocked my ability to login to online auction sites that I have been logging into for more than a DECADE without telling me. Now I cannot login. I am 68 years old. Firefox is not my mother and I do NOT need or want another mother. How do I fix this so I can login to these online auction sites and prevent Firefox from sticking their nose into my business and tampering with my account without telling me again? Thank you.

I will continue to push for tabs to be (a user enabled option) on the bottom. I do not care for the reasons against this. I want the option returned to the settings in a normal manner.

I do NOT want any instructions on complicated CSS scripts or weird work-arounds an etc.

SO..

Where do we begin to force this back into service?

I am a Firefox user on both of my own computers, but also install it on all systems I support remotely. On one of those the user is a heavy FF user with multiple pinned tabs. This worked without issues for a very long time. However, since V 106 (I don't know it his is related) FF and/or individual tabs frequently crash (on start, or later), offers to restore session or tab, is successful, but then the whole sequence repeats. We have taken all troubleshooting steps, including disabling all extensions, and starting in safe mode, but to no avail.

The system in question runs WINDOWS10 (Home), 64 bit, V 22H2 (newest upgrade) and all patches applied.

Any help or suggestions would be hugely appreciated.

Since the latest update to 106.0.2 "check for updates" runs non-stop until I disconnect from my vpn (ExpressVPN for Windows 7). I can reconnect my vpy but after a short while I cannot open other tabs or windows. I get the message "server not found".

What is going on? You have a fix for this?

I have used FF for years but his might make me switch.

I have this problem all the time but don't remember it before. Was there a change? Did someone really illiterate become part of the design team? Today's problem word was neuropathy. Not exactly an uncommon word in our diabetic prone society. Sometimes its words way more common than that. This makes no sense at all.

Hallo, I have a Newsletter from a publisher in Florida and e-Mail contact so it is a genuine, well known company. Firefox did send my subscription, no problem but subscription order form for Mastercard pay, received per E-Mail firefox is not transmitting. On inquiry, Mastercard said there was no rejection or transaction with my card. I think a software issue the company would know as I saw there adds in Singapore StraitsTime and in the EU. so if they are doing business in many countries then my issue must be a unique one. Could it be a setup problem ie security, or politics to purchase from US? Before I purchased my retail OS online from USA. Hello, I've been experiencing some issues after updating to version 106. I can be watching a video, listening to a music of viewing a site and randomly, the browser would become unresponsive and freeze. The funny thing is that music or videos keep playing in the background and the RAM or CPU usage never goes down but I can't do anything. After a while if I try to click on the browser, it then brings up a popup telling me that the app is unresponsive and I could either wait or close the app. Previously I had waited for over 2 hours hoping that it would fix itself but that never happens. The only saving grace is that I am able to restore my previous tabs after closing Firefox but tabs on my private tabs are gone forever (P.S. It's not p0rn but site that i don't want cached on my browser). This started from me updating to version 106 and currently am on 106.0.2 but the issue persists. I was hoping someone can assist me with this as I do prefer using Firefox.

I previously posed a question about your updates, which your respondent (Dropa) entirely ignored in her/his response. The issue is NOT that I cannot invoke an update, but rather that your system of updating is flawed. I am informed of an update, which nevertheless will not install until several times after I close and reopen Firefox. Moreover, while it is doing this update, my browsing on the web is completely halted for well over a minute. Surely you can do better than this ...

I just opened a pop up that you sent - asking to choose a color. I had no idea it would change the look of Firefox. Please could you instruct me how to change it back to how it was. This brown is not OK.
