Almost every time I visit the typing test website MonkeyType (https://monkeytype.com), and take a typing test, the tab simply freezes and does not update. Soon after this, Firefox stops responding. However, the website works smoothly on Tor browser, which is also based on Firefox. I've tried disabling WebGL, and running the website on a new profile in case corrupt cookies or extensions were the issue, but this still doesn't work. What can I do to solve this issue?

More info: I'm running Windows 10.

I am attempting to sign into Sync on my tablet and am not able to receive the triggered Verification emails (neither the initial one when attempting to sign in nor any follow up ones). Oddly enough, it's only this device where the issue is present. I was able to use my desktop computer to successfully unlock my account after accidentally locking it and change my primary email address in case that was the issue. Both of these actions triggered email notifications. Even when attempting to sign into my tablet's Sync with my new primary email address I am not able to receive the Verification emails.

I have also double checked my spam folder and whitelisted accounts@firefox.com. I have not noticed any other issues with my tablet besides this very specific thing.

Would someone be able to provide guidance? I wasn't able to find any help articles about this particular scenario and am not sure how to proceed.

Every time I use google search I get this empty white space at the bottom of the page (look at the pic). It started happening today. I tried many things to fix it but nothing worked. Can you help me?

PS: This happens only if I'm logged in to google with my google account. If I'm not then I don't have this problem.

This morning I noticed the top bar of Firefox is a green color. I tried restarting my Mac, and re-installing, but it is still green. I can't find anything about this searching online. Any ideas?

My application www.myfloorschedule.com has always worked well with Firefox. Beginning last month users report that they are being taken back to the home page while trying to work in the application. This occurs intermittently. Internally, our code does returns you to the home page when the session variable is null. I am able to replicate this problem. It occurs all the time when I turn on strict privacy. But with strict privacy off, it still occurs, although not on every page, all the time.

I suspect Firefox because testing with Chrome and Edge give no similar problem.

Hopefully this is the appropriate place to ask. Javascript just doesn't seem to work for temporary extensions. When I couldn't get my own extension to work, I tried to follow the tutorial in "Your second extension" (link) and it also just doesn't work. HTML and CSS load just fine but it's none functional. I can't even get a simple log out to console.

I just updated to Windows 11 a few days ago. Is it possible there is some setting I changed a long time ago that is causing this behavior?

I am not a fan of these pre-installled themes. I was given no choice with the update and then found the browser had switched to dark without my asking. I would like to have the same look I had before the change, which was Firefox default.

That's what I am used to and it is disrupting my browsing experience trying to deal with something that looks different, not to mention the frustration of wasting time looking through themes without avail to try and find one that takes to what it was.

So could I ask please can we either have the option to switch themes off and just have things work the way they used to be? Or else maybe an option where we could download and install a theme that is called something like Firefox Classic/Default? If such a thing already exists I would appreciate if someone could point out where to find it.

In trying to reach at least one Web site (maybe more), https://jabberwocking.com/, I get an error page, Error 523: Origin is unreachable. It also has some tech stuff I don't understand. What can I do?

For a few months I've been experiencing consistent crashing in Firefox 95.x versions. At first the crashing happened "randomly" while browsing Facebook, but I eventually identified a pattern and learned that the crashes would happen when a Facebook 3D photo attempted to render in the feed.

Since then, I'm able to consistently reproduce the same crashing issue by opening Google Maps and launching street view. The crash happens immediately when street view attempts to load (unsuccessfully). This happens even with all plugins disabled.

Unfortunately I've had to failover to Google Chrome due to the stability issues in Firefox, though I would like to return to Firefox if this issue can be resolved. The issue does not present itself in other browsers.

I'm currently on Firefox v95.0.1 64-bit on MacOS Catalina 10.15.7, and my GPU is an integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB with a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M.

I formatted my laptop, and now i downoladed mozilla, logging in... and waiting for verficiation code for mozilla sync account for years, please help

I am experiencing this issue ONLY in Firefox, not in Edge or Chrome. Thus, it tells me it's not my Windows security settings or my antivirus security settings. The issue is with the website ancestry.com and ONLY in one specific section: When I want to create a story and add it to an ancestor's profile page. It doesn't matter if I copy and paste something or if I just enter text manually. When I try to submit it I receive an Access denied error 21 message saying access is blocked by security settings. Furthermore, the stories I have already added to ancestor's profile pages are no longer visible on Firefox - there's just a blank white screen. However, again, they are readily visible in both Edge and Chrome, which again tells me this is not a Windows setting or an antivirus setting or even a firewall setting, but a Firefox setting.

For the life of me, I cannot figure this out. I've tried to google Access denied error 21 but I get absolutely no results. I've tinkered with my security settings in Firefox and nothing helps. I've cleared cache and cookies over and over again. I've even gone so far as to disable both my firewall and antivirus program temporarily and again, no difference.

I like to research in Firefox, but with all the new changes to layout and now this problem, I'm really getting fed up. Any help with this would be very much appreciated.

I really do like the new colors and I switch between them often. What is motivating you to remove them starting with Firefox 96? Do I really have to turn off auto update to make sure I have my favorite Colorway enabled before the update?

You've adopted two common phrases and tried to apply them to Colorways:

1 - "limited time only" - This usually means you just have to acquire it during a limited time window; you don't lose it after the time window has passed.

2 - "limited edition" - This usually means a limited number of people can acquire it.

Based on my understanding, neither phrase applies to your Colorways offering.

Would you please reconsider? Mozilla is one of my year-end charitable contributions; does that give me any more clout? :)

Hello, wondering if anyone else can replicate this problem or knows a solution, as its quite alarming that opening a web page should cause the whole system to immediately shut down.

Opening in troubleshoot mode seems ok, opening in Safari seems ok, but normal Firefox results in the shut down as page is loading.

Hello can someone please tell me how to stop Firefox from ignoring my settings and updating every time I start my new day. It has forced version 96.0 3 times this week and I cannot use it. They have removed the right click copy and paste for some stupid reason in my opinion. Also they have discontinued certain video downloader apps and do not offer anything to replace them. I have it set to ask first but it doesn't bother and it's really causing me trouble. Not only do I have to waste valuable time uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox but also all my add ons. This is costing me a lot of money because I'm on a metered network. This is not only wrong it is no different than rape and I am very disturbed by this kind of strong arm tactics.If this continues I will be making a formal complaint to the FTC. You may think this is silly but if you do then let me force what I want on you and see how you feel then. I'm asking as politely as I possibly can for Mozilla to act like a responsible and honorable corporation.I have used Firefox for 10 years and until now I would say it's the best browser bar none. I just came home for lunch and now have spent my entire lunch break dealing with this forced rape again. I'm going back to work and when I come home if version 96.0is once again forced on my PC I will need medical attention. So my browser pages weren't loading so I went to my windows 10 settings app and went to "Apps" and then I clicked on FireFox to uninstall it but it gave me an option to "Refresh" it and so I did that and it fixed the issue I was having but ALL my tabs are gone and I NEED them back. Please tell me there's a way to get them back. I think I even had important ones to. ;-; ;'(
