GIVEN I download a file WHEN I drag from "recent downloads" in toolbar to g.drive THEN nothing is moved, nothing is under cursor

expected: file drops into g.drive from downloads

GIVEN I have a window up with many tabs WHEN I select a tab and pull it to make a new window THEN nothing is under cursor, and I don't get a new window

expected: new window created from open tab

I am reaching out regarding an issue I am having lately. Recently a great number of sites has been showing me an error regarding an embedded site and blocking me completely from it's content.

I've read on many forums and searched the brower console and it seems like firefox is having an issue with X-Frame-Options being set to "sameorigin". It gives me a lot of trouble and is blocking me out of a lot of media.

I love security measures Mozilla has implemented over the years but I do not feel comfortable when software I use won't let me toggle less important safety features On/Off or at least whitelist sites I know are safe.

Speaking bluntly, it's ridiculous that I have to try 10 different websites with the content I want to watch, just to find one that has a built-in player, instead of an embedded one. It also seems to be spotty with what it blocks and what it doesn't block as some sites with an embedded player work with no issues.

I couldn't find any way to turn it off that won't possibly affect other security measures, or won't require me to go into brower console every time I want to access media.

Please instruct me how to fix this issue and consider making changes regarding it.

Several websites show nothing but a white screen. I have tried everything suggested in other posts about this issue (Clearing history & cookies. Starting in safe mode. Disabling addons, themes, and extentions. Disabling hardware acceleration. Updating video card drivers. Checking the url bars "tracker" icon. Uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox.) and still I get a white screen when visiting certain sites. I really don't want to switch to another browser but I'm at a complete loss and have no idea why I have this issue.

I am having difficulties opening certain web site or click on emails to open a web page. I have been copying the addresses and pasting in Chrome to successfully open these websites. I have been a Firefox user for many years and never had this problem. I an using Windows 11 64 bit.

Why can't I use Firefox with sites that use reCAPTCHA to validate that I am not a robot? For example - sending my Tax returns to the IRS using Turbo Tax. I can't get past the reCAPTCHA challenge so I must go to another browser.

For months CNN articles are ruined by manipulated headlines (and more) to degrade Trump.

There is no such problem when browsing CNN with Safari.

EXAMPLE: Pond Scum’s ambition to retake the Panama Canal could have a heavy cost (January 21)

I resent my reading being compromised, and request that CNN remedy the situation.

My home page is wsj.com. FF blocks many of the articles on the site. I have tried to use the security system to make changes. Enhanced Privacy will not allow me to add safe sites. How do I take this feature out of FF??????

I am trying to watch channel 4 but I am told I have to unblock the ad blocker. As far as I know I have never installed an ad blocker - I would not know at all how to do this - I am not very computer knowledgeable....

i have tried to unblock but get nowhere.

Hi, I’m experiencing an issue with Firefox (v134.0.1) on Ubuntu 22.05. On certain websites, the text overlaps and becomes unreadable. For example, this happens on https://globalwordnet.github.io/schemas/ but not on others.

I’ve tried the following:

• Resetting zoom (Ctrl+0).
• Disabling all extensions.
• Clearing cache and cookies.
• Testing in Chrome, where the issue doesn't occur.

I also tried all the suggestion in this old discussion (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1392547), but I couldn't solve the problem.

Does anyone know what might be causing this or how to fix it? Thanks in advance!

Firefox suddenly will not take me to my organization's (academic) Microsoft sign in page that connects me to DUO and then to the institution Sharepoint. When I use the same steps I've always used, Firefox just sits with the dots going across the screen. I've been using Firefox to connect exactly the same way for several years. Now it does not work. Safari will do it, but I don't like Safari as well.

I cleared cookies and cache in Firefox--did not fix it. I closed the browser and restarted the computer--did not fix it. I tried my other desktop--did not fix it. I downloaded Firefox again--did not fix it. I downloaded and reinstalled DUO with help from my institution's IT department--did not fix it.

Incidentally, I can log in to my personal Microsoft account using Firefox. I just cannot log into my institutional Microsoft account. My institution's IT could not see any reason why this would be the case on their end, so I'm wondering if there is something I've done to block Firefox from connecting with my organization's Microsoft.

I don't like Safari as well but I may have to stop using Firefox because I need to be connected to my institution's email, calendar, library, course platform, etc. etc. almost continuously all day.

On LinkedIn some ellipsis/see more buttons are not properly displayed, for instance in "About" sections. See attachment, I took the screenshot on both Firefox (133.0.3/Ubuntu) and Chromium.

When trying to log in to GMX.co.uk a consent page usually pops up, it did on earlier versions & it does using Google Chrome, but page stays grey, worm turning but never shows. It does flash up but disappears in under 1 second so can't accept. Tried on my android phone, says error so can't login, don't normally use as have GMX app.
