I'm using macos 12.5

Firefox will not open any windows.

When I try to open Firefox by clicking on the dock icon, nothing happens.

If I right-click the dock icon and select 'Show All Windows", a message takes over my screen. The message says "No Available Windows".

I manually deleted the caching directory in my homedir.

I then deleted Firefox, downloaded the latest version and installed it.

Attempting to open it fails again. The same symptom recurs.

I'm running the latest version - I downloaded it about 20 minutes ago. But I can't find the version number because the application won't actually open.

Firefox won't stay downloaded to my computer. I am having to download it multiple times, especially if my computer has updates.

On a separate note, when it does actually stay on my computer over night, it never keeps me signed in to my Firefox account. I have to log in to it daily to have my bookmarks and passwords.

Also, it never remembers the theme I have picked for it. I would love some advice on how to fix this.

I've read through a ton of articles, and I can't seem to find a fix.

My Firefox version is 86.0 on Mac. OS Version is 11.2.2 Big Sur.

I found that basically all color rendered in Firefox is more vibrant than Safari and Chrome, maybe Firefox doesn't handles color management right and renders sRGB in full P3 color space, lead to a over saturate color for almost every element on webpage.

Hopes firefox can fix this soon, I love the efficiency and privacy features on Firefox, This is the only bit I found a little uncomfortable.

The option in the Help menu for "submit feedback" is still present on version 87 but is no longer functional and has been out of service for 3 months.

Is an expected date or version pending to reactivate or will it be removed?

I want to find out how to stop incessant update notifications on a MacBook Pro. Respectfully, please no lectures about just going ahead and updating or how I should keep my browser updated. We all make personal choices about how we want to manage our technology. I googled this first and found so many other people asking the same question, but no firm solutions. As you know, in preferences I have the option to allow automatic updates or to first be asked before updating, but it's a Morgan's Fork. If you don't allow automatic updates - which is out of the question - then they are going to bug the pee out of you until you update. That makes me dig my heels in deeper. Either I find a way to turn off these annoying notifications or I am done with Firefox. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

The Other Bookmarks folder is located on the far right side of the toolbar instead of being a movable folder. This happened after Firefox crashed and I lost all my preferences (any help with that?) I tried to use the method that jscher2000 recommended when I asked this before but the only thing it did was remove the folder entirely from the toolbar.

I recently had to have my iMac wiped and restored, and ever since, the ESPN website has looked weird.

Here's how it looks on Safari -- to be clear, this is how it should look and used to look on Firefox:

Notice how the black banner at the top is cut off on Firefox, and how the Top Headlines bar isn't visible. I've tried resizing the Firefox window and still have this problem. Happy for any suggestions you have.

Whenever I would like to print something on Firefox a new window (Print preview) tries to open, stalls und crashes immediately. No printing occurs.

Bonjour , suite à la réinstallation complète du système BigSur 11,2,3 il y a quelques jours, Firefox 87,0 (64 bits) ne veut plus sauvegarder des pages, marquer des pages, ne veut plus ajouter du sites sur la page d’accueil, ne veux plus rien faire quand il s’agit de sauvegarder quelque chose. PNC Bank site is no longer accessible on Firefox after entering login credentials

I am running Firefox 87.0 on a MacBook Pro that is running Mac OS Big Sur 11.2.3. The problem started approximately one week ago. If this is not resolved I will have to discontinue use of Firefox after many years.

When on a website, filling out an application,etc and they ask me to provide an email address, even though I type it in the box provided it doesn't register. This has started to happen within the last 2-3 weeks and it prevents me from filling out forms and applications that ask for my email address or even an alternate email address. The box will simply light up and keep telling me to provide an email address and therefore won't allow me to finish the application and/or form. If I go to Safari, I can successfully accomplish the task. So I know it's something in Firefox that's causing this to happen. Please help.

I am writing a program that requires me to detect when a shift key is pressed and do something. Something like

window.addEventListener('keydown', event => console.log(event), false); // expect to see an event logged to console when pushing the "shift" key

This works great on all browsers except Firefox. "alt" and "fn" keys are also not able to be detected on Firefox. Is there some sort of advanced security settings I can disable to let me capture these things?

When I go to firefox preferences and then go to "search," I try to click on the arrow below "default search engine" but nothing comes up. When I try to search in the address bar, it takes me to websites named after the first word I typed. When I tried searching in a separate tool bar, I'd type something, hit enter, and nothing would happen. Please help, this is very annoying because whenever I want to search something I have to type google and then type my question in on the actual google website.

There is a lot to love about Firefox. However, it has perhaps THE worse history searching tools of any browser. You cannot search by date, just "Last 7 Days" or whole months. Even then you cannot see on which date the search was performed: stupid and inexcusable.
