I am new to Firefox and I have no idea if I have setup everything correctly to secure my PC? As a Pensioner I am finding this extremely difficult and have no idea where to or how to get to any of the pages in Firefox to check if I have correctly secured my PC? Apparently, due to the latest update of Firefox, when I start this browser, I see a redirect to the home page, although I changed the settings so that when the browser starts, the last active page opens (everything was fine before). I'm not sure, but I think this started happening after the 111.0.1 update. My OS is Windows 7

I signed into mozilla firefox on my father's computer at his home. I was visiting for the week and forgot my laptop. I logged his firefox account, then signed in with my details. Now I am seeing all of my father's login credentials when I am logged in to my firefox account at my home. I am not sure how it happened but I would like to not see my father's credentials for every website. Thank you.

There have now been several updates to Firefox without a fix to this problem that requires immediate attention.
WHY hasn't this been addressed when many have complained about it?

I went to bookmarks - restore and they did not appear after restoring the backup from a month ago. These bookmarks marked several websites I'd collected through years of study.
