All his bookmarks and saved passwords were merged into my Firefox account and deleted from his laptop when I signed in from my PC. Is there any way to undo this and return/restore the settings on his laptop?

Yesterday, my laptop was functioning without difficulty. Today, when I logged into Windows 10, instead of my usual profile/desktop appearing, a default profile/desktop appeared.

I performed a system restore using the most recent restore point (two days ago). The system restore completed successfully and upon restart and login, my usual profile/desktop appeared.

However, my installation of Firefox no longer completely exists. In the C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox directory, many of the files that customarily exist no longer appear, including firefox.exe.

Most certainly, I do not want to lose any of my bookmarks, open tabs, or custom settings that I have established in my Firefox over many years of use. What would be the best way for me to restore Firefox on my laptop, while preserving all of my bookmarks, open tabs, custom settings, etc?

Would a simple reinstall of Firefox accomplish this task, without my losing any of my bookmarks, open tabs, custom settings, etc? Or, is there something else that I should do?

I would sincerely appreciate your feedback regarding this problem. Thank you!

Firefox is the only browser that I cannot load a site.

With firefox I get: Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to licensing.nypdonline.org. Peer’s Certificate has been revoked.

Error code: SEC_ERROR_REVOKED_CERTIFICATE

   The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.

All other browsers see the site as OK

Since the latest upgrade (I now have Firefox 105.0.1) I can't upload many web pages on Firefox. If I close Firefox then open it again, the site usually loads. However, I have to repeat the process for other sites. I'm spending all my time closing and opening Firefox. Can anyone help? The problem has only arisen over the last few days.

Whenever I print my transfer transcript, it will always combine both the pages into one page. Using other browsers, I would be able to just print the first page but I do not have the option in Firefox. I would like to be able to just print the first page and not the combined page 1 and 2. Thank you.

In JavaScript I did addEventListener('storage', ...), and it's working fine as long as I use localStorage.setItem(), .removeItem(), or .clear(). However, when I use the "Clear Data..." button under "Settings | Privacy and Security" it seems the event does not fire. I noticed that in Chrome the corresponding settings option to clear all data does fire the storage listener, and this is the behavior I'm looking for.

hi,i try to have a TOEFL IBT home edition.and it requests me to download proctoru in my MAC. but i can't download extension through firefox. it says it will take a high risk for my computer. how can i figure it out? thank you!

Hi - my BitDefender Internet Security found this Trojan.GenericKD.62058384 in my firefox profiles folder - C:\Users\david\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\v6jicbrz.default-release-1662311998698\cache2\entries\E4A4EB628D5AE50B559489046BF17891EBE92F04=>(gzip)

Is this a false positive? This cache is nearly 1GB in size, are all the files needed?

I'm getting this on most of my websites that i try to access from Firefox. MSN, google links from searches almost making this browser unusable. It says i cannot by pass security. IT may have blocks from my company as well. It works on edge and chrome so why not firefox?

ok so ive tried everything and from what ive seen firefox has a sudden spike in cpu in a random proccess and stops working before firefox kills it off and everything goes back to normal

one place where it happens consistently is the sign in page on ebay. the only fix ive found is opening firefox in troubleshoot mode

before you ask, ive reset everything on firefox. brand new install of it too. nothing on this version of it. still happens. its not the plugins nor settings

So today I wanted to try FF Containers, because I have service user to manage O365, my normal company user and my personal user.

Now I open make.powerapps.com in container dedicated to this site I log in with one of these users everything is ok, but during first sign-in I am not asked even for password for specified account, I just enter email and then I am redirected and signed in. I have disabled "Allow Windows single sign-on for Microsoft, work, and school accounts". When I want to access portal.azure.com in another container, I am automatically signed in with user from previous container dedicated to powerapps.

I especially logged out of all containers and removed all cookies from FF before submitting and it is still happening

Also checked Windows "Internet options", I do not have any of these sites in "Intranet sites" and Level for all zones regarding to User Authentication is "Prompt for user name and password" dunno know what is wrong.

Hello! Could you help me, please? I forgot my main email name that i used for firefox account. How can i restore it? I tried 2 my emails and both of them is empty, no tabs, no apps, no bookmarks.
