Hi,

So I got a new ultra-ultra wide 32:9 monitor and I noticed when I have firefox maximized on my new monitor and switch focus to a different window all of the text on tabs on the full screened firefox would go very blurry. If I had the same firefox windows full sized on my 16:9 secondary monitor this didn't happen. I then tried having the windows not maximized on the new monitor and it did not do this behavior when it was occupying what I would say was 1/3 of the screen width but if I stretched the screen too far it would again go back to this blurry behavior. So it seems like the text for the tabs behaves differently after the firefox window is stretched to a certain width. On the non-stretched firefox windows the letters simply get darker which I find to look better than the blurring. I added a screenshot that shows the differences I am seeing, the firefox window on the bottom screen shows the blurring, if you look at what would be the left middle side of the screenshot, while the top and bottom middle firefox windows show what it seems like it should look like.

In release 126.0 (64-bit) in Windows, persist logs in developer tools is not working for me. I've tried selecting and deselecting all the combinations in both settings areas in the split console, quitting the browser in between. Is there a new place to set this?

Hello, so when I watch youtube on FF my cpu usage goes up alot and the fans go nuts. I have a very capable i5, rtx3070 machine and this issue started just a couple of days ago. I have not done any changes or updates which could trigger this problem. The problem starts mainly when I Watch in full screen mode or have multiple non-fullscreen vids active. All other apps show no signs of problem. I can watch the exact same video in Edge, no fans/high cpu, VLC works fine, Chrome is OK, it's only in FF that the problem occurs.

I have tried the following: 1.Reinstalling FF 2. Activating HW acceleration in FF and forcing it in Windows11 3. Theatre mode is off and all other YT settings are off. 4. Updated Nvidia and windows 5. FF is the latest version. 6. Disabled all my addons/plugins

No clue what can cause this..

my firefox browser switches to how it will look on windows 7 for a split second and back to original view, i run it on windows 11 , also when i run multiple firefox windows minimized side by side it often crashes

Been using Firefox and predessors for 30 years. The problem: 1. I login to my Credit Union website "https://www.missionfed.com. 2. I AM able to get through the login and verification process, to the page where my accounts are shown. 3. Click on my checking account, and the icon rolls and rolls, and never gets past this point. 4. Access in this same manner has ALWAYS worked in the past. 5. I disabled all extensions, etc. There was only one anyway. Didn't help. 6. I ran troubleshooting / safe mode. Didn't help. 7. Cleared the cache, etc. Didn't help 7. I called the bank. The moment I mentioned Firefox, THEY SAID, IT'S A NEW PROBLEM WITH FIREFOX, WE'RE TELLING EVERYONE TO USE EDGE OR CHROME INSTEAD. That can't be good? 8. The bank said v.125 works fine and that v.126 is the problem. Any ideas?

I cannot download any files or any adons through firefox. I have tried every single troubleshooting method in the "What to do if you can't download or save files" article I have restarted my computer, I have refreshed firefox, I have reinstalled firefox TWICE, I have turned off my firewall and tried downloading a file, I have changed the wifi im connected to, I can download files on internet explorer just fine, I have tried a new profile, I have scanned my device for viruses (theres none), I have no idea what the troubleshooting mode is supposed to do because I cannot download files in that either. I currently have no ad-ons installed because of the refresh I dont know what else to do and why is my firefox doing this, it started yesterday.

I am in the process of migrating to a new Windows 11 PC. I am a long-time user of Firefox and have version 126.0 - 64 bit on my old PC. On my new PC I apparently downloaded it from the Microsoft Store during all my software installs. That version shows as "Windows MSIX Package Mozilla – MSIX – 1.0”

Are there differences between the 2 versions and should I do anything such as reinstalling from Mozilla?

Hi, there - Over the last few months, I've noticed some things that make it impossible to get to websites. I keep getting "Secure Connection Failed," for example, with getting to Chewy.com. I just tried to sign into the ssa.gov website, but it comes back repeatedly as "403 forbidden." And another big one is trying to get to outlook.com. It never fully loads. I cannot get my email. I've been having to use Edge more and more, and I don't like that for privacy issues. Also, sometimes I cannot finish buying things on some websites without changing over to private browsing. Thanks.

I have two problems:

1. After importing bookmarks from html file i can not see them under search bar. only i can see them when clicking on Show your bookmarks /Ctrl+Shift+O/. Bookmark toolbar is checked into Always show Where is the problem?

2. Blank shortcuts of some websites, i tried to fix it with all methods but failed like: Deleting the IconCache.db file then restart windows explorer Command prompt sfc /scannow Command prompt dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth Disable tablet mode and Widgets

I'm on Win11. The recent releases of FF seem to have disabled my ability (while in FF) to bring my mouse to the lower area of my screen to have the Win11 lower task bar appear. In order to get here, I have to shrink FF via it's upper right hand shrink button, then in the Win11 home screen bring my mouse pointer down to the lower screen area to popup that task bar. Gemini suggests there's a compatibility setting related to issues with high res screens that FF has... but I can't find this switch/setting... maybe Gemini is hallucinating about this. (Curiously, Gemini insists that this is not a FF issue... despite the fact that it's the only app on my PC having this issue).

Hey, I have been trying to figure out native Firefox solution for deleting firefox history after it's set number of days old. I did found solutions for older verions of firefox, and some addons, but nothing that's native or current.

I think having history is incredibly useful short term, lets say a week or some days, but I don't think I have ever had to dig trough my old history for something. Usually what you need is to find some page you closed recently or something. And while I would like to use deleting history after closing browser, it interferes with stuff that I'm logged in, reopening tabs after closing etc. And ofc, it actually deletes history which is useful short term.

This is both request for help and improvement. It would be nice to have option on "clear history when firefox closes" settings, to delete any selected data older than set number of days for instance. Or if there already isn't, something similar in about:config.

I had implement service worker for install resources and activate service worker and fetch the resources at offline.

When online service worker worked and once serve the resources to the cache then it will be stooped automatically

but when offline service worker block the local host and can not cache resource from cache. I am using firefox

126 version on window 11 system

Any settings are required or help me what will do for offline working in firefox using service worker
