Every solution which I have found for Firefox 89 "Proton" so far which moves the Tabs Bar below the Navigation Bar (AKA "address bar"), with the Menu Bar above it, does NOT move the Tabs Bar below the Bookmarks Bar. The Bookmarks Bar appears to be overwritten and blank, and occupies space below the Menu Bar, Navigation Bar, and Tabs Bar. This empty space separates the three bars which are implemented and the content of the currently-selected tab below it.
Currently, my userChrome.css file is a copy posted by Cor-el (?):
@namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"); /* TABS: below nav-bar - fixed for 108+,113+ */ /* ROOT -variables */ *|*:root { --tab-toolbar-navbar-overlap: 0px !important; --tab-min-height: 25px !important; /*override density*/ --tab-min-width: 80px !important; /*override default*/ } /* TABS: below nav-bar - no longer needed in 113+ *//* #navigator-toolbox toolbar:not(#nav-bar):not(#toolbar-menubar) { -moz-box-ordinal-group: 10 !important; order: 10 !important; } #TabsToolbar { -moz-box-ordinal-group: 1000 !important; order: 1000 !important; } */ /* TABS: position */ #TabsToolbar { display: block !important; position: absolute !important; bottom: 0 !important; width: 100vw !important; } /* for 107 and lower - disable this rule in 108 and newer *//* #tabbrowser-tabs { width: 100vw !important; } */ /* navigator-toolbox: PADDING */ *|*:root:not([chromehidden*="toolbar"]) #navigator-toolbox { padding-bottom: calc(var(--tab-min-height) + 1px) !important; /*ADJUST*/ position: relative !important; } /* TABS: HEIGHT */ #tabbrowser-tabs, #tabbrowser-arrowscrollbox, #tabbrowser-tabs .tabbrowser-tab { min-height: var(--tab-min-height) !important; max-height: var(--tab-min-height) !important; } #tabbrowser-tabs, .tab-stack, .tab-content { height: var(--tab-min-height) !important; } /* TABS: APPEARANCE */ #TabsToolbar { height: var(--tab-min-height) !important; margin-bottom: 1px !important; box-shadow: ThreeDShadow 0 -1px inset, -moz-dialog 0 1px !important; /*OPTIONAL*/ background-color: var(--toolbar-bgcolor) !important; color: var(--toolbar-color) !important; } /* indicators - hide */ .private-browsing-indicator {display: none !important;} .accessibility-indicator {display: none !important;} /* window controls in full screen - hide*/ #TabsToolbar #window-controls {display: none !important;} /* caption buttons on tab bar - hide */ *|*:root[tabsintitlebar]:not([inFullscreen="true"]) #toolbar-menubar[autohide="true"] ~ #TabsToolbar .titlebar-buttonbox-container {display: none !important;}

Evidently, the text editor for this website does several things to the above original text that, frankly, seem unnecessary and undesirable. The .CSS file is just an unformatted text file, so what is the problem with simply copying its contents and pasting it in to the body of this post?
Which is also to say that I do NOT have a clue as to what any line in the file is meant to do, what effect it has, why it is even in the file at all, or why it is written in the way that it is. So DO NOT tell me that I "CAN" create a Cascading Style Sheet on my own when I cannot even modify one that has been provided.
On the face of it, something is missing from the above CSS text. What change needs to be made to the above content so that the Bookmark Bar will appear between the Navigation Bar and the Tabs Bar??
Thank-you very much for your time and attention to this request for assistance.

Hello Team,
I have been an avid user of Firefox for as long as I can remember. This however has one major drawback: the accumulation of all the settings and changes over the years! I explain this below.
I have noticed that my browser is not performing as intended, i.e. a lot of browsing especially in pages like Google Maps is very slow, some images and videos are covered by some distorted image, other objects are not loading at all, and the list goes on. Now, I know that most of you will say that this may be because of add-ons. I really wish it was.
I performed the following tests: 1. I created a new profile from about:profiles and loaded it. It was just a bare Firefox with nothing else on it. I was blown away by how everything worked so fast and smoothly. Literally, even Google maps was smoother than it was on Chrome. 2. I started adding my add-ons, etc. Nothing changed, even when they were all added. Everything worked perfectly. 3. I went back to my "broken" Firefox and started changing everything in Settings to match the new profile: especially under Privacy & Security. Still the same issues. 4. Once, on the new Profile, I logged in to sync with my Firefox account so I can pull in my bookmarks, etc. the new profile became "broken" too.
This leaves me with one conclusion. The broken part is deeper in the Firefox settings. Keep in mind that as a long time user of Firefox this is the accumulation of a lot of settings over all these years (including a few changed settings in the about:config page.)
My question now is, how do I reset my about:config changes and anything else related without having to lose my sync? (because if I do and then I re-sync then all those changes come back again.)
Ultimately that is what I think is the solution is: to reset the Settings and about:config settings (and any other related ones) without affecting anything else so that they will be pulled up to the sync server (hence why I need to remain logged into my account) and pushed onto my other Firefox browsers.
Correct me if I am wrong here or if you have any other solutions.

In the past, when ICS files were in a mail, I had been asked what to do, and could open them in OUTLOOK. This option has been apparently cancelled and it only asks where to save the file, without any option to open it directly. Furthermore, when I try to modify it in the "settings" and change it to "Always ask" I can't find no ICS files nor OUTLOOK SCHEDULE files. Please advice. Thanks

I recently upgraded my system and, after installing and using Firefox, I notice the Find (Ctrl + F) bar is now at the bottom of the window. Whereas, it was previously at the top (which is more like every other application I use).
After some head scratching and web searches, I remembered I had to fix this issue previously (after a Firefox upgrade some time back). The method to fix it then could be found here: [there a way to put the Find Bar at top] That link is of course to the same question asked 4 years back.
I have once again followed the procedure there explained per: • Access my Firefox profile folder. In my case:
C:\Users\<Me>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\5ym42ewi.default
• Create folder therein called ‘chrome’ • In that folder create a file called ‘userChrome.css’ • In that file add text:
.browserContainer > findbar { -moz-box-ordinal-group: 0; }
However, after doing that (and restarting Firefox), the Find bar stubbornly remains glued to the bottom of the window.
Can anyone tell me how to solve this issue?
As a separate note to the developers: This issue is long-standing, that a web search reveals is still relevant to many users. Any chance of considering making it a standard option?

Unfortunately, I downloaded “SaveFrom.net Helper” without reviewing it.
Since downloading it I have been receiving a alerts from “McAfee WebAdvisor” about “dangerous pages blocked”.
I was able to remove the “SaveFrom.net Helper” add on in Firefox, but am unable to remove the “Savefrom.net Helper” bookmark tab which has high jacked my normal Firefox Bookmarks.
I can no longer easily see my Firefox Bookmarks and have to keep opening the Firefox Application Menu, then select Bookmarks, then select Manage Bookmarks in order to see my bookmarks.
Can you please advise how I can safely remove the “SaveFrom.net Helper” bookmark tab which has high jacked my Firefox Bookmarks.

I have a user who runs SRS/Crystal Reports on their Windows 11 Lenovo laptop, but every time we go to the website where a Java-enabled pop-up window for viewing spreadsheets is supposed to load we keep getting a "A plugin is required to play this content" error message, but no option to install/approve the running of Javascript.
I have downloaded and installed the JRE and JDK on the endpoint device, but still no luck getting Firefox to load it. I am running the 32-bit version of the web browser, not 64-bit, so I am kind of stumped about how to proceed from here.
Is there a place I can manually download/install these Java plug-ins?
Thanks.

The developer says firefox is just waaay behind on extension updates and it isn't their fault.

Like the title says, whenever I try to zoom out of an image to make it smaller, it causes the image to zoom out very far in just one scroll "tick".
To be more specific, I'm talking about just scrolling (not using ctrl+scroll). An example would be with Piskel.com where you simply use the scroll wheel to zoom the canvas.
Zooming in is perfectly fine, but when I try to zoom out it seems to zoom out by 3 or 4 ticks. On some websites, such as Piskel, it even it zooms the image out all the way making it very small and impossible to see (It does it with just one scroll tick).
My question is if there is a way to change or fix the zooming, making things zoom out more incrementally. (I recently switched from Chrome which didn't have this problem)
