can someone please tell me why firefox is trying to install this unwanted file.....i run bitedefender everyday and everyday this pops up it is ANNOYING Online Threat Prevention

firefox.exe attempted to establish a connection relying on an expired certificate to sync.contextualadv.com. We blocked the connection to keep your data safe since websites must renew their certificates with a certification authority to stay current, and outdated security certificates represent a risk. When paying credit card accounts owned by Synchrony Bank (eg J C Penney, Care Credit), after making payment, displayed receipt is too long for one page, and critical data spills over into what would be the second page. There is no site-provided Print control, and when I try to use the Print control on the toolbar, the print dialog opens up, displaying the correct number of pages (usually two, sometimes three), but displaying the image of the first page on each page. When I select pages 1 and 2 for printing, page 1 prints on all pages of the paper.

Synchrony Bank has been informed of this multiple times over the past year, and they refuse to look at the problem, saying it's "my browser." So is there any way to prove it's their problem, or can you put pressure on them to fix the problem? I am reduced to waiting for the email receipt to appear and print THAT (of course, I hold the web site open until it does), and for my last payment the email never appeared!

It wouldn't be so bad if they put the critical numbers at the top of the page, but they always have some art work and other constant content that takes up more than half the page (it also wastes ink, but that is a minor concern), as if they want to force users to print on legal paper.

I will submit the debugging information the next time I make a payment to one of these cards (the problem does not appear when printing any other web page, ONLY the payment receipt).

I am using a very old system that is running out of storage space. There is an 8.73 GB folder that I would like to empty to free up space. C:\dtemp\Profiles contains several folders that were created 10.27.21: 2qzfs15q.default, eybandys.default, f81zrqic.default-release, pctnmazu.default-release-1, and yns5cb3s.default-release.

Can I delete any of these folders?

I don't have a Profiles menu under the Account button on the main toolbar. My Firefox was just updated and the update tab info talked about the new profiles feature as if it was available. Is this rolling out in phases or should I be seeing it?

I need to dump this [expletive] version 144.0 and go back to the previous version that actually worked, hopefully before I waste my entire [expletive] day with an internet browser that does not go on the internet. I have tried a complete reinstall, rebooting, turning off antivirus and throwing my mouse across the [expletive] table. Anybody have better solutions?

On the https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/nordvpn-proxy-extension/ tab, NordVPN appears to be installed as the button indicates "Remove". I have logged into NordVPN but do not have the NordVPN icon in top-right corner.
