After Firefox update on August 14 the top area of browser started jumping continually so I did a restart. After restart had to reinstall Trusteer and McAfee Webadvisor. However my home page changed to Google and I don't want google as my home page. Cant remember what it was before (believe about:home or something similar). When I go to Settings Search and change search to DuckDuck it changed both the address bar and search bar. I am find with Google in Search bar but was my home page to go back to what it was and not Google. I am a senior and not highly computer savvy - please help and list steps so I can not have Google when I open Firefox browser. Thank you

I did not even realize you had another update until I logged in this morning and my desktop firefox screen was completely changed and all my history and bookmarks are BLANK! I've wasted my entire morning trying to fix this! Your support materials are not working either as there are no bookmarks or history left! Ugh!

I enjoy your brief weather update on your Desktop Home Page, but a suggestion would be to allow the user to add two or more locations for other family locations, vacation home locations or just other locations we love around the word.

When I close a video site tab, Firefox freezes and becomes unresponsive. After restarting Firefox from a force quit, I sometimes see a message like: “Bookmarks may not be visible or things may not look normal. Another instance of Firefox is running.” (I don’t remember the exact wording.) In that case, my bookmarks look like they are missing. If I close Firefox again and restart it, the bookmarks reappear, but I am logged out of every site and have to add all my accounts again from the beginning.

This means I have to log back into every single account again, like YouTube and others, which is very inconvenient.

I’ve been using Firefox for over 10 years, and I’ve never experienced this problem before. It doesn’t happen all the time, but it occurs periodically — sometimes every few days, sometimes every few weeks. This never used to happen in the past.

Please, I really need help with this issue. If I back up my cookies beforehand, would restoring them after such a crash bring everything back to normal?

possibly very stupid question - how do i not mask emails to addresses of people i want to know who i am? or does relay only apply to websites/newsletters etc and not emails to contacts in my inbox?

Your new web site with Thought-provoking stories is very sad. I have use firefox for resurch for a long time & now it is bad. I old main site showed the web site that i used. Now it has only 7 sits that I used. So how do i get rede of Thought-provoking stories?????

After downloading the latest OS on my IMac, I can no longer use the microphone on Chat GPT to dictate anything. I keep getting red "enable microphone" messages. In my Firefox settings, the microphone is already "allowed" for Chat GPT. I would like to be able to dictate, rather than type, like I was able to before. Thank you.

Im using Windows 10 Pro 64 bit on a Asus laptop with 32GB RAM in it and a i9-9980HK @ 2.40GHz. It has a GeForce RTX 2060 graphics card in it with 6GB memory. I use it for work and need to have multiple tabs open at a time as a result. I always have at least 4 tabs and can sometimes get up to around 10. I also have Zoom running as well.

I keep seeing a ton of Firefox processes open when I look at Task Manager. Attached is a screenshot I just took with 7 tabs open. It shows 34 processes in the first clump with more open outside of that one.

I unchecked Use recommended performance settings and checked Use hardware acceleration when available but all that did is lower the amount of RAM being used by 100MB. I have 2 extensions enabled in Firefox, AdBlocker for YouTube and AdBlocker Ultimate. They have never been a problem before. This lag and massive overusage of RAM has only started in the last couple of weeks.

Anyone know why this is happening or how to reduce how much RAM Firefox is using? I like this browser and would have to have to switch to another one. Thanks in advance.

I have tried to connect to a major grocery store (which I have many times) and I get "Problem Loading Page" and then The connection to www.frysfood.com was interrupted while the page was loading.

I cannot access my credit union's marketing page: "marketing.riograndecu.org" This has been a problem for the past week. I am connected to my home wifi. I repeatedly get this message:

I have 2 almost identical Windows 11 Pro 64 bit machines but Firefox is different One has MSIX-1.0 and doesn't update while the other has Firefox 141.0.3 and updates regularly!!!

I don't like the MSIX-1.0 version and want both machines to use Firefox 141.0.3

Tell me how to stop advertisers from interferring with my rows of bookmarks since many times they take my upper left bookmark location which is the one I use most often. But weird bookmarks are showing up all the time and I continually have to remove them.
