FireFox 110 on Mac Ventura : add ons are NOT showing in toolbar. Have tried several methods explained on the web, still not showing. Not even after Allowing the Add on to run in Private Windows. Also tried to reinstall add ons; even after FireFox Refresh ...
I have FireFox 110 also running on Mac High Sierra with add ons showing perfectly in the toolbar.
All extensions are hidden all of a sudden. How do I show all of them without tediously clicking each and every one and select show?

My scroll wheel no longer works in the Firefox browser. I'm certain that it isn't a mechanical issue because it works fine in any other application. I cannot scroll up or down using the wheel so I am forced to use the scrollbar which is very annoying.
Is there any way to get the scroll wheel working in Firefox again?

My mouse wheel does work when I try to scroll in any page. The scroll wheel works when I am scrolling though tabs but only if I am holding Shift or Ctrl. It also seems to work just fine in troubleshooting mode, but nothing else seems to work. This problem started just after Firefox updated to the newest version.

In about:preferences, in the ⚙ General tab, Firefox is set to handle the content of type "Zip archive" with the action "Use Archive Manager (default)".
To the question of what Firefox should do with other files, the set answer is "Ask whether to open or save files".
When I click on a link to a zip archive, said application indeed launches, no question asked, which is what I expect. However, the zip file is also saved in ~/Downloads which is, of course, where the files go when the corresponding action is set to "Save file".
In a similar vein, MP3 files are supposed to launch VLC but play in Firefox (which is also fine, just not what's set in about:preferences). M3U files do lauch VLC as set but are saved in ~/Downloads. PDF files are opened in Firefox, as the settings say they should.
Those inconsistancies seem to have started only a couple of weeks ago.
The nuisance is indeed moderate but still somewhat disconcerting.
The operating system is Debian 11, the desktop environment is XFCE4. The version of Firefox is 102.7.0esr (64-bit).
Is there something I misunderstood ? Some settings that I overlook ? A page in TFM that I didn't read ? Or is this random behavior something that comes with the territory ?

Have a 2019 Mac with latest Firefox software installed. Can no longer use the scroll wheel on the mouse to adjust fonts to variable sizes on web pages and closed-captioning on YouTube. Instead, the entire image (page/video) either enlarges or shrinks. Sometimes there is no adjustment at all when I use the scroll wheel.
This feature still works correctly on my 2011 Mac/Firefox (i.e., CMD+scroll wheel adjusts the font size).
Do you know how to restore the settings on the 2019 Mac so it will once again allow variable font size adjustment on web pages and closed captioning/subtitles?

The fonts are weird for some pages. I have used the following settings: Fonts for: latin, Proportional: Serif, Serif: Default(DejaVu Serif), Sans-serif: Default(DejaVu Sans), Monospace: Default(DejaVu Sans Mono). Also I have checked the box "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selections above".
Need help to fix the issue!

I often have to add proper nouns to my personal dictionary just so that it doesn't get the red line. However, I find it annoying that I had to add my best friend's name "Luca" with an uppercase L and "luca" with a lowercase l as different words. And then I had to add the possessive forms "Luca's" and "luca's" as separate words as well. I type in lowercase when it's just casual online conversation.
How can I make it so that adding words to my dictionary isn't case-sensitive? And automatically accepts possessive forms (adding apostrophe and s at the end)? I know that some sites also use different unicode characters for apostrophes, so that's another thing. Or is there an extension that does this?
I want to keep spell check on, but I really hate seeing correctly-spelled words marked as misspelled, and it feels redundant to add the same words over and over to my dictionaries, whether it's in the browser or in the persdic.dat file.
How can I just block images, like in chrome chrome://settings/content/images Shoud be an easy way like just one button (add-ons etc.)

Hello Team Mozilla,
I have been a user of firefox since a lot of time. I purchased a Macbook Pro M1 Pro 14 inch. Since I purchased a smaller screen model, I wanted to efficiently use the screen space available. I have tested Safari, Firefox, Chrome and Brave. I am glad that only and only Firefox provides a Hide toolbar option which other browsers are not offering. It is a game changer for a 14 inch macbook pro as it offers maximum utilization of the space. For that I applaud Firefox.
But the accessibility of tabs takes a serious hit when I enable the option. The place where the mouse pointer has to be for the toolbar to unhide is quite literally a line. Anywhere above or below it will not show the toolbar. if we go too far, the MAC OS close, minimize window option come up. For the toolbars to show up one has to just touch the menubar of MacOS. While switching tabs its a real pain. I have to pause and look at the pointer and slowly move my mouse to touch the menubar at the right speed.
Please please please do something about this. Firefox is providing the best utilization of space for a Macbook Pro. I do not know if the Firefox team is aware of this, but its brilliant. But the toolbar accessibility makes the feature unusable. It would be great if we could access the toolbar easily for tab switching.
I have some shrunk the font size and don't know how to reset it. I have been to every settings possible, and can't find anything
