Today when it was very important I ha access to my patient portals, FF decided to crash all tabs. What was the reason for that? I had to spend 30 minutes trying to get back on line while I am attending to a sick patient here at home. FF also wants to update in the middle of the day but I am never notified of it. Instead everything locks up and I have no clue why. I hope you can do something about that! Like maybe let me know that FF needs updating before it locks up, crashes, etc.

I have tried over several days to uninstall and reinstall Firefox to avoid tabs constantly crashing. While I've done this and multiple shut downs and restarts it continues to crash and can't figure out why. Please help.

Hi there, I'm wondering why Firefox is crashing tabs like crazy for me the last few days. Chat Gpt reckons these screenshots indicate a problem with the JavaScript Engine. I'm looking for expert help to differentiate the cause so I can be sure my hardware isn't damaged. Scrolling fb or youtube , even using chat gpt and firefox just throws me a crashed tab. I have uploaded the reports that chat gpt has reviewed to ensure it is being accurate.

I'm mainly looking to find out so I can rule out if there are problems with my hardware .Any help identifying the source of the errors would be greatly appreciated!

At some point in the last couple of weeks, I've started running into very frequent crashes running Firefox in the Linux container on my Chromebook. It previously worked well, but is now unusable. I'm now running Firefox version 147.0.3 on Chrome version 144.0.7559.167. This is after I did a clean reinstall of Firefox using flatpak, which didn't help. It seems like it often happens when my mouse hovers over a browser tab or icon (eg account, extensions, hamburger). Other quirky display behaviour, which mayor may not related, is that videos are often not working (eg Youtube, BBC), and various browser windows (eg when selecting Manage Bookmarks, or restarting in safe mode), open a small size-reduced window. I have been having issues with Firefox since the new update. It will work for 5-10 minutes and then cashes and freezes my Macbook. I then have to restart my entire system. I have always loved using Firefox but lately its more of a pain and have been thinking of changing,

mozilla keeps crashing almost on every website (says the tab has crashed). I checked, mozila is up to date, all extensions removed, no viruses or spyware, and it is crashing in troubleshoot mode as well.

Also few times a day says "your device ran in to a problem and needs to restart). Please advise what to do? Here is a submitted crash reports:

Firefox is shutting down all my active tabs automatically WITHOUT asking me. This is regularly happening and wastes a lot of time. Is it due to installing Updates ? I DON"T want ANY updates and I am fully happy with my current version. If this doesn't go away, I will have to delete this browser and move elsewhere.

hello Ive been dealing with this constant battle of Firefox working for about a week and then just completely stops randomly. This problem never occurred when i was on windows 10 but ever since i installed windows 11 this has started to happen. If i turn on my desktop and Firefox doesn't work i have to either refresh Firefox through the uninstaller or boot into safe mode and then boot into regular and it will work for a couple days and then stop again its a full on cycle and in tired of dealing with this mess just to keep using your guys browser. I don't want to leave Firefox but it doesn't really leave me a choice unless you guys can help me solve this problem.

Hi The tabs have crashed notice keeps coming up on every change of page !!! I have the latest version installed with all my passwords saved, I am not a PC wizard so please explain how to solve this simply its driving me crazy !

I am experiencing a recurring issue with Firefox on Kali Linux.

Environment:

- OS: Kali Linux (running inside Termux on Android) - Connection: VNC (RealVNC) - Device: Android phone (low RAM) - Desktop: XFCE

Problem: Whenever I open Firefox, tabs frequently crash with the message: “Gah. Your tab just crashed.”

What I already tried:

- Disabled hardware acceleration - Disabled recommended performance settings - Ran Firefox in safe mode - Created a new Firefox profile - Lowered VNC resolution - Restarted the system

The problem still persists.

I believe this may be related to graphics rendering or memory limitations under VNC/Termux.

Please advise if there is a workaround or configuration that can prevent this crash.

Getting "Mozilla Firefox Crash Reporter" problem message when attempting to print files (Docs & Sheets) from Google Cloud. Errors messages have appeared on Lenova Thinkpad laptop in Firefox since mid Dec update. Can print existing files located on desktop, just not from cloud. Both HP and Epson Printers test fine, can print 'test pages'. Tried downloading files from cloud to pc....opening downloads, got same Firefox problem message and crashed. Have used same firefox browser and same printers for several years. Rebooted several times, same error. Can print, 'printer test pages'. Do I have a switch turned off/on or is this a browser problem. Any assistance would be appreciated.
