So, whenever I open Firefox it will act normally and then after a second close by itself and when I reopen it, it will be in remote mode. I know how to fix this via about:config and do this every time, but I would much prefer a permanent fix, nothing else on Firefox or my computer indicates something else is going on, its just this. I've even at one point uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox and it didn't help.

While Firefox is loading long, list-type pages, the scrollbar naturally expands in length. I was used to grabbing the scrollbar thumb, pulling it to the bottom (out of browser focus,) triggering further page-loading, and being able to repeat this by merely jiggling the mouse after each load.

Since the latest release (116.0.?), my mouse loses focus on the thumb on each reload, and I have to re-click on the thumb in order to drag down to force the next reload.

This has radically slowed down some of my regular web activities.

Is it something that can be (re)configured on my end?

I keep trying to add Honey extension using Firefox. It shows that I have downloaded the extension, but it is not working. I know I am doing something wrong, but I don't know what it is. Thank you!

I can connect bluetooth devices to my SurfaceGo and successfully direct audio output to them using Chrome, Edge, or internal sound files. But in Firefox the audio only goes thru the internal speaker no matter which audio output device I select. Is there some setting I need to fix so that Firefox will speak to bluetooth devices?

I am trying to add a secondary email address (a Zoho email address) to my Firefox account (my primary is a gmail address). I receive the verification code in zoho email. I enter the verification code into the required space for Firefox to verify and accept that I am me and that's my email, and I get an error message that the code is invalid.

    I did this twice.  I checked that I entered the info correctly.  I entered the code within the 5-minute timeframe.  Both times I got the same message - the code is invalid.  It will not verify my secondary email address.  
   Very frustrating.

Now I have another question -- how does one get rid of a pc shot dead to eradicate Firefox?

Anyone? Huh, No? Then I guess I am 100% correct in shooting the damned thing and going off the grid to never deal with Mozilla again. Hope you all get fire-ants in your pants!

Why am I not able to sign in to my bank account on FIREFOX 99.0.1 (64-bit) ?! I called my bank and they said it is FIREFOX that has the problem and to go to a 'New Private Window' in the FIREBOX browser! After I did that I was able to sign in, but I do not want to use private window, I want to be able to just my regular FIREFOX browser which I have been doing for years until now with FIREFOX 99.0.1 (64-bit)!

As described above I'm now seeing section descriptions in a program app I've been using in my work successfully over the past two years. Now, all of a sudden, the section titles in the program are faded gray almost to white, which makes entering info (not to mention eye strain), really difficult. Just wondering if this might have been something that occurred with the last Firefox update.

I've tried adjusting the screen resolution but it makes no difference. See the screenshot with this message.

Hey all, I'm not too sure if this is the right place to ask, since i am on the nightly version, however recently i have tried installing some new extensions. it appears that whenever i close and re- open firefox, the extension is just gone and disabled. when i go back to the store, i have the option to remove it as if its still installed, and my "manage extensions" page shows its installed and enabled, however there is absoloutley no sign of the extension unless i disable and enable it. the two extensions i have installed were both from the official mozilla addons store, one being "dark reader (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/darkreader/) and "Twitter as a Sidebar" (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/twitter-as-a-sidebar/). both of these extensions have the same issue, so its most likely not the extension itself. I am asking here in case its not a nightly bug, and instead something wrong with my browser specifically.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Trying to open Firefox in Windows 10 is suddenly only showing a completely white screen (no title bar, closing X, etc) and can only be closed by right clicking on the start bar icon and selecting "Close Program"

Have tried everything to fix the problem so decided that I would have to use the Control Panel and completely remove/uninstall the program and then re-download and install new (was able to save the bookmarks in html format from the "c" drive.

When selecting the Uninstall option in the Control Panel, rather than uninstalling as with any other program, a dialogue box appears offering to repair/reinstall the program, but on clicking the accept option another dialogue box appears stating that Firefox must be closed first --- but it is closed and also proved to be closed through the Task Manager section.

The Firefox version is 100.0.2

How can I completely uninstall Firefox when no option will allow this to happen. I have even tried via the "CMD" command.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated as I have been working on t his problem for three days without any success.

Firefox starts but when I type into the search box nothing happens. My RoboForm link does not work and neither do the bookmarks. I have had to resort to using Edge to get onto the internet. Jim Klein

When playing videos on youtube or any other platform the volume is very low to non-existent. When a new video starts there is a sudden surge, whereafter it rapidly returns to a non-audible level. I have tried checking the volume settings in Windows and Firefox but nothing has helped thusfar. Please help me resolve this issue so I can go back to using my favourite browser again.
