It happens on all my sights, ie: Facebook, etc.

I can't see text using Dark Reader on some sites. How do I make adjustments? I can not see text on certain webpages. What command changes the color or texture of the fonts or texts

All of a sudden I can't download files from apps I use all the time... and download files from all the time. I just tried in Edge & I can download just fine. This just happened this morning. I downloaded multiple files yesterday within firefox & the same apps I'm running today.

Tonight Firefox updated itself and when the routine finished the new default-release profile did not contain any of my data including bookmarks.

I tried to launch the profile default in a new browser but this was empty too.

can anyone help me locate my data and restore it in the new profile?

I have set my firefox, that it deletes all cookies after a session. additionally i have stored some exeptions of this routine. But now also the cookies of the exeptione are delete every week, mostla on sundays! what is the reason of this behavior???

Thank you for the help! I'm wondering if other AI chatbots, Lumo, in particular, will continue to be added as options to the updated sidebar? An unofficial extension exists (https://codeberg.org/daskashk/lumo_ai_by_proton_chat_in_sidebar) that adds the ability for a link to appear in the sidebar. However, it does not offer the full integration that the official browser update provides to the other supported LLMs. I like Lumo for its privacy, encryption, and the ability to make "Projects." Just recently when logged onto Hotcopper.com.au have been getting a message that reads "This page is slowing Firefox down. To speed up this browser, stop this page." There is a STOP button, that helps for a moment or two only. When I open the program with MS Edge, the problem does nor occur. I was going to remove the Firefox App but saw the repair option. Repairing did not stop the problem. Any suggestions? John I have a near new Acer laptop running Win 11.

i have synced everything and 3 days ago when i restarted my pc and launched firefox everything was deleted and i had to login to my account and firefox saw it as a new pc today it hapenned again after pc restart and i have like 4 same pc with open cards and i cant back them back i have to launch everything by hand and i dont want it to happen again had no problem for 4 years of using

help me restore my open windows. this has also happened a couple times before and its very frustrating when i have tabs open to read/refer to later or am in the process of reading and then i have to try and find them all again.

Hi, I have firefox on my desktop, and I want to watch the "10 App" - which is an Australian broadcasting tv channel - but it keep saying " an ad blocker is stopping the app from working" I also tried their website, and the same thing happens. I tried to check the extensions there is no ad blocker ! can you please advise me how to add permission to this particular app/website. ? and where do I find this adblocker ? thanks.

I have been using the same firefox account for six years, and when the update that added user profiles came out, I successfully transferred all of my information to a profile. Well, today my firefox wasn't responding, so I used task manager to close it and restarted my computer. When I opened firefox again, it prompted me to select or create a profile to continue browsing. Crucially, it did not list the profile I had been using as an option, so I created a throwaway profile so look up what was going on and how to fix it. I tried logging into my mozilla account; no record of my previous browsing data, bookmarks, or extensions. I tried following the steps in the "Restore bookmarks, passwords and data from an old Firefox profile" article from Mozilla Support, but my old profile no longer appears in the profiles folder on my computer. I'm worried that if I keep messing around trying to restore my old data, I'll do some irreparable damage and never be able to get it back. Is there anything I can do in this situation?

since Vers. 142 I am having a really bad and wasteful time searching for my previous tabs when firefox is closed....initially it worked, but now RESTORE PREVIOUS SESSION IS NOT ON THE MENU UNDER HISTORY.... WHY IS THIS ALWAYS A PROBLEM WITH UPDATES???? IT SEEMS THAT THE UPDATES WHEN LISTED DON'T SHOW HAVING ANY TAB INFO, BUT SURE AS DAY/NITE WHEN I TURN MY DESKTOP AND FIREFOX, TABS ARE MISSING AND I CAN'T RECOVER THEM.

IT WOULD SEEM THAT IF THE DESIGNERS REALLY WANTED TO DO SOMETHING WELL, THEY SHOULD BE TRYING TO FIND OUT WHY THIS HAPPENS ON A REGULAR BASIS.

CAN'T "SNIP" A PICTURE OF MENU, SO HOW WOULD I MAKE A COPY OF IT SO YOU CAN SEE THAT RESTORE PREV. SESS. IS MISSING?

I'm using Firefox esr, the latest version 149.0.2. Since this update, I can no longer load the videos on NPR.org's home page. Something pops up, but then the wheel/circle thingie just goes round and round, and never loads the video.

My ad blocker was already off for this site. I've tried restarting Firefox in Troubleshooting mode, and changing the various security settings mentioned in this article: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/fix-common-audio-and-video-issues#w_check-some-firefox-settings, such as adding it to the "Allow popups" exceptions (never necessary before) and other settings. I've reloaded the page multiple times, restarted Firefox, etc.

Can anyone suggest anything else to try?
