Hello! I synced my browsing data yesterday by signing in to firefox account and reset my OS(window 10) to improve my laptop's speed. When I am trying to get back my browsing data back after resetting and installing firefox by signing in to my firefox account and pressing the Sync Now button then its not giving me my browsing data back. Why is it so? Need Help. Thank You!!

I was using firefox for a while and i have to format my pc because of a problem and when i download it again i sync it something came back but not all of them my passwords mostly came back and all my extensitions also back but i have a lot of container and none of them came back and i sent a mail for you but it was Turkish and i get back replied and support guy said we are only taking message as a English and he said i translated your message and be sure you sync the right account and if is it the right account you can also. If you have another device that does have the data, then you can create a backup and manually restore it following the instructions in this article: that what he said but i dont have and ex data and i want to figure it out is it possible to take my cointainers exactly same because the most important reason of using firefox for me was containers.Have a good day.

I had issues with my computer which got me into a situation where i had to delete all partitions of my drives, starting from 0. Signing in my firefox account in a fresh win install suddenly recovers NOTHING and i am now panicking as i had very important accounts & passwords, bookmarks, tabs, extensions, etc. I have tried other devices too without any luck. I need help recovering all these asap.

So I reformatted my computer today, but the process allowed me to keep all my personal files. I had made a backup in my appdata for all my passwords and bookmarks like Firefox allows when you're in Manage Passwords or Manage Bookmarks. After the formatting, I sign into my Firefox account, and it Syncs almost immediately. When I go into my appdata, the profile has been overwritten by the new sync, meaning all my passwords and bookmarks are now no longer available. Is there legitimately anything I can do??

Hello, I am trying to sync my browser data between two computers. On the computer I want the data from I click on "Sign in to Sync". This brings me through a couple menus asking me to sign in with google, and finally sends me to a space to set my password. I already have an account associated with my email and already have a password. I type in my same password again and a red bar with "Unverified Session" appears at the top. I am using the latest version of firefox on windows 11. I do not want to delete my account or make a new one. I have tried as many ways as I can think of to link my existing mozilla account to my browser but it simply will not let me. Another support ticket solved this by creating a new account but I find this solution unsatisfactory.

I originally setup my account under a business email address that I do not operate or have access to that email. When I log in it wants to send a code to the registered email but I don’t have anyway to get that code. How do I bypass this? I’m trying to sync everything to my iPad from my desktop.

I have a firefox Account "accountA" which has the primary eMail-Address "mailA". I had an other Account "accountB" with primary eMail-Address "mailB" and secondary eMail-Address "mailC". Sadly I lost access to "accountB" and it's primary Mail-Address "mailB" (which is ok) but want to change the Mail from "accountA" to "mailC".

However, this is not possible since "mailC" is locked to "accountB" which I can no longer access (since I need the primary Mail Address. This meens I can never again use "mailC" for my Firefox account, which is now my primary Mail-Address. Is there should be a way to disconnect a Mail-Address from an account, if one has ownership of this Mail-Address?

So i was using firefox in Linux recently and now because of linux issues, i switch back to windows. I logged in with same id but sync is not working. I had a long history of passwords, extensions and bookmarks. Also opened tabs and all but the account sync is not working. I even verified if this is the same account i logged in with in linux as i have 2FA and in the app it says this is the email i used for it. Please help me ASAP

I just switched to Firefox from Chrome, because Chrome was crashing all the time.

All I want to do is sync my computer, laptop, phone and Ipad's reading list. I want to be able to see an article on one device, add to the reading list, and have it on all devices.

I'm logged in under the same name on all, and it says sync is on, but the reading lists are different.

Can someone help me? My phone number is [removed phone# from public support forum], email is [removed email from public].

I had a new windows installation done without backing up the firefox profile while foolishly resetting the firefox password too without using the recovery key and effectively losing my current data.

Is there anything that could be done to restore the data to my account or is that the end?

I have an email account blocked (jgcaller129@gmail.com) and have tried the sync tab at the top corner of my computer. It sends a message with a number to this blocked email to unblock it- how am I supposed to get an email from you on a blocked account. How do I unblock this account. I have tried several times with the same result now the icon to sync isn't there anymore. PLEASE HELP This email is very important to me. You can send a reply to an alternate email account (also linked to Firefox -jgcaller15@gmail.com).
