Since accidentally deleting my current firefox profile, I have been experiencing a multitude of problems: Firstly, if it's possible to recover my profile file, that would fix all my problems. I currently have disk drill installed on my computer, so if there's any way to recover it please let me know. If that isn't possible, there are a few issues: 1: the top 3 buttons being shifted to the right (image 1 is what it looks like now, image 2 is what it used to be) 2: the color of the toolbar affected how other websites look(image 3) 3: all extensions being removed, though this was probably due to the deletion of the profiles

Yesterday I updated IOS on Macbook Air M2 to Tahoe 26.3.1. Today I had a problem with wallpaper and was in the middle of a conversation with apple when I accidentally closed the firefox browser. When I opened it and went to history, it did not have any of my history since the upgrade?

J'ai du désinstaller l'ancienne application et installer la nouvelle. Mais j'ai tout perdu, y compris mes mots de passes, mes marques-pages, etc... Pouvez-vous m'aider s'il vous plait, c'est urgent ? My System Administrator upgraded my Macbook Pro laptop after upgrading from Sequoia to to Tahoe version 26.4. This was a JAMF migration. The reinstalled Firefox does not show my bookmarks, after logging in to Firefox with my username and password. I tried to restore bookmarks but it loaded only a few, from more than a decade ago.

I normally have 4 windows open, each with multiple tabs, for 4 work streams.

Whenever Firefox or MS decides to do an update, one window sometimes, 4 rarely, none usually, are recovered after restart. How can I ensure that Firefox remembers all the windows and their tabs before shutting down? Then reinstates them after starting up. After the last MS update, the option "Recently closed windows" was greyed out. But there had been 4 of them.

Firefox's recovery after simply rebooting the computer is more, but not completely, reliable. Win11 on a desktop computer

I just lost my bookmarks again, it happened a month or so ago as well. Appears to have been due to updates.

I have already followed the recommended ideas of navigating to restore, but there is no date given to restore to.

Just "choose a file comes" up, and that appears to lead nowhere.

I also went about:profiles , and all that was there was the current "cannot be deleted " profile and the option to make a new one, I tried that, it did not restore bookmarks. I need some of tose bookmarks quite badly this time

What more can I do ?

My bookmarks changed on the URL's in over 30 different bookmarks, but the names of the bookmarks stayed the same. I lost a lot of very personal information. What did Firefox do? Not sure when this happened, since I've not used bookmarks for a while.

Firefox installed a new release and now all my bookmarks, add-ins etc are gone. I went to About:profiles, but I when I launch the other profile that is there it still show the new profile

Hello, I use Windows 11 on my PC in France. I lost all my Firefox bookmarks and browsing history some time ago. When I try to use Firefox I get the message : Firefox is not operational because one of the Firefox files is being used by another application. I have tried to get an explanation on firefox.fr but to no avail, their support page is far too complex. I can still browse with Frefox but no bookmarks, so it defeats the purpose... Please help if you can as I now have to resort to Google Chrome, wich is not as versatile and I would really like to be able to use Firefox again. Thanks. Raymond

My bookmarks in the bookmarks toolbar have disappeared, I can no longer save a bookmark anywhere. Some of my bookmark folders have disappeared. I have tried restoring but I get the message "unable to process backup file"even after importing the file from my other laptop using both HTML files and .json files. I tried refreshing firefox, that didn't help. I uninstalled firefox and reinstalled it with the same results. Never had a problem with firefox before, but it's useless now! Can anyone help?
