Hello, I have been using Firefox for 15 years, you guys are awesome. I have a few issues before with Firefox, in the past but were easily fixed by a refresh or new install, PC reset. I have tried these options and more, and still I cannot see why websites are not connecting, I recently tried Norton Anti track, didn't see anything new deleted after 3-days? (Properly)I am sure anti track is the cause of the problem, it was running fine until deleted extension removed everything. Norton did a remote session taking screen shots of computer and stated Firefox is is just not working. I can access the websites from that browser. I reinstalled Firefox* after install of Norton product, which usually likes to control everything on your computer. I have a HP Pavilion desktop running windows 11/// I just cant seem to get to my accounts seem to be block by something? Account i have had for years. I have done everything on Mozilla help articles, but still not letting me in to the websites??? some are opening email AOL, CVS and a few others, even my Amazon Prime account hesitates while browsing?I had and AOL pop-up stating My GP? settings? could not find it. Can you help any info would be appreciated. Firefox is my default browser and I miss it. Thanks to all at Mozilla, best, Thomas user.

When I select a text and right-click, the option to translate by Firefox's native translation feature appears. The default target language for this seems to be the defined by locale; for my case, it's always Turkish. How do I choose a different target language to appear in the context menu? I cannot see an option for default target language in settings.

Hello! :) Instead of normal letters (in English), normal font (in English), I'm getting Symbols & Shapes where words & letters should be. Happens daily & several times daily on a variety of web sites. The Symbols & Shapes never cover an entire page, just small sections here & there. Sometimes this problem fixes itself after a few minutes (meaning the Symbols & Shapes vanish and normal letters & words [in English] appear in their place). Sometimes I have to log in & log out a few times before it goes back to being a web site with normal words & letters (in English)... Sometimes, those areas - or patches - of symbols & shapes on a web site page Never get fixed...even going as far as to make the page (and one time the whole website) unusable. The extent to which I find this whole thing very annoying is compounding. Thank you in advance for your valuable time and your consideration of a remedy to my problem. Peace! ~ Catherine

I'm running Windows 11 Home (fully patched). Firefox recently updated to the above-mentioned version. Since then, I've "lost" all my bookmarks and cannot load any backup version from the "Old Firefox Data" folder (which has several bookmark backup files). My security software is Windows Security..

The IMPORT/EXPORT function in the Bookmarks Manager reports no backups nor any bookmarks at all.

The same IMPORT/EXPORT function won't allow me to maneuver/select any of the bookmark backup files for importation.

Last, I cannot find any instructions on how to manually restore my bookmarks.

I live in a rural area and the power has gone out twice in the last 10 days. While I have my PC connected to a UPS with line purification, the power was out for hours draining the UPS battery. Both times I was not home to do a controlled shutdown. This bookmark error happened after the first power outage, but I was able to restore form an old backup. This time, however, I'm unable to restore.

I'd appreciate any assistance in this matter.

Hi - I am getting the following error while seaching "An error occurred during a connection to onlinetripquest.com. PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR Error code: PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR" I am still on Windows 10. Could it be do to that? If so how do I fix this issue without migrating to WIndows 11. Not ready to move. Do not have this issue with other browsers.

Yesterday, I lost most of my bookmarks in several Bookmarks folders. These are critical to my work with several non-profit organizations. All efforts to follow Mozilla's troubleshooting advice and use the Manage Bookmarks functions to restore or import backups in my Profiles folders are met with the "Unable to process the backup file." message. I have a number of backups available, any of which could potentially resolve this issue, but nothing I have tried is working. Please help! Thanks, Shack

After a Windows 11 update, Firefox does not automatically start although set to do it and when I start it, a small rectangular box appears in the upper left corner of the screen.

Please resolve.

I am currently unable to clear my browsing history, this started about a week ago. I had done it that morning but after lunch I was able to . I note that library is showing history going back to Dec last.

Selecting "Help About Firefox" causes the window to appear but this window then freezes with no information. It is possible to close the window and continue with Firefox. This happen nearly always but occasionally works correctly. Current Firefox version is 146.0 but the problem is not limited this version. System is Kubuntu 24.04, KDE Plasma Version 5.27.12 and QT Version 5.15.13 I have tried several things. Deleting the .Moziila folder will permit the window to work once but after a restart stops working. Any new things to try would be appreciated.

All bookmarks and history lost. Have spent over 2 hours following the steps outlined as a standard treatment for this problem, attributed to another program interfering with Firefox Profiles or bookmarks. Restarts of Firefox and PC failed to restore, Going to Bookmarks>Manage Bookmarks fails because when you get to the Library window for Import or Restore and select profile (I show 3 right now, all tagged as .default), there is no way in the window to accomplish a restore. You can insert a profile in the open window but there is no way to activate the restore function. Likewise when I accessed the list of 15 prior bookmark files I had the same result with the restore window. The instructions do not make any sense to me. Need somebody to contact me directly and walk through problem via phone call.

I'm so frustrated! I don't have time for this... I try to use my pw, it gets rejected. I hit "Forgot pw". I get confirmation code. I use confirmation code. I use computer-generated pw and Moz saves it. I try to log in again and pw gets rejected.

I told my banking site to trust my computer but I changed my mind and want 2fa back. When I go to my banking site using chrome, it uses 2fa so I know it is not on the banking site.

What do I need to do for firefox to start using 2fa for this site again? It says firefox browser is up to date and I'm using Windows 11. Thanks, Steve
