Hello, I am facing an issue while playing YouTube videos in Firefox. The videos are lagging and not playing smoothly, even though my internet connection is fine. Please help me fix this problem.

Just built a new PC and using Win11. I like to have a pinned tab in Firefox playing some kind of media to have background noise. Since new build, whenever I am not 'focused' on that tab and doing other tasks, audio from that tab will cut/fade in and out.

I've been working on this for 16 hours. I've googled, binged, even yahooed. No answers. Checked and rechecked all settings, both system and browser. Uninstalled/Reinstalled *many* applications, including Firefox. My OCD won't let me rest till I have this solved.

After updating firefox from 128.8.0 to 128.9.0, no embedded videos will play (youtube, instagram, plex, etc...)

The only way to get them to play is to run the browser in troubleshoot mode. Even a fresh browser profile doesn't work. Disabling hardware acceleration also does not work. Tried firefox 137.0.2 and that also does not work. Downgraded back to 128.8.0 and videos play flawlessly again.

I'm running firefox on gentoo linux on a thinkpad x13s (arm64) which uses Qualcomm Adreno 690 graphics.

Anything I should try would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I am do not get sound using audio recorded with akamai player with Fire Fox browser. I tried the same link using Edge browser and the audio works.

I have tried clearing the cache, but still no sound.

How do I resolve this issue using Fire Fox as my default browser? Is there an audio extension that is needed?

When I play YouTube videos in Firefox, the video stutters and drops frames, even when set to 480p. The audio continues to play normally. This issue does not happen in Chrome on the same laptop.

The problem started about a week ago. I’m using Firefox on Windows 11. Restarting Firefox did not resolve the issue. I’ve attached screenshots for reference.

FINALLY got my zorin os to update, and now also have the newest version of firefox uploaded and working. My singlefile addon works properly, I have upgraded to the newest versions of my video downloaders, and I have cleared my history, but my 2 video downloaders still don't recognize any videos on youtube. Any suggestions or alternative downloaders?

This is extremely annoying - if it doesn't work, I have to switch browsers... What is also extremely annoying is that it occurs almost regularly after an update ... until the next one possibly, for unknown reasons, does not fix the error, but sometimes mitigates it. Now, however, the disruption/interruption is so massive and totally annoying that I'm thinking of switching. I'm just tired of it ...

Good day, I have Firefox 138.0.4 running on Windowx 11 24H2. PC details as follows: CPU = Ryzen 5 2400G RAM = 32GB GPU = RTX 3060Ti 8GB Connection is 50/25Mbps fibre connection

My issue is that when watching F1 from the following site: https://f1tv.formula1.com/, after some time (it differs in how long it takes to manifest), the stream starts to stutter. Note, it is NOT buffering, it is like the stream gets "stuck" or freezes for an instant then continues. The "freeze" then becomes more frequent and sometimes even lasts for about 2 seconds before resuming. The most important fact about all this is that this does NOT happen when using Google Chrome, hence my suspicion that it is somehow related to Firefox specifically. Does anyone have any idea what is causing this and/or how to fix it, please?

Здравствуйте. При воспроизведении видео на каком либо сайте в полноэкранном виде не скрывается панель задач виндовс. На других браузерах работает как надо. Менял где только можно, даже в безопасном режиме также. Как её можно убрать?
