I'm getting alot of messages several times a day for a week now. Just about all of them are with the Firefox logo but I'm pretty sure it's not Firefox.

Things like phone is corrupt.  Delete certain files.  18 viruses found.  I have some screen shot of them. How can I make this stop?
 It's constant and annoying.

I have attempted to sign in to MyHealtheVet.gov 3 or 4 times over as many hours. Every instance has encountered the same message "Secure Connection Failed. This is the Verterans Administration website and find it hard to believe their website is not secure. I'm not a computer geek, far from it, hence utilizing this method of contact. Hello, I downloaded Firefox Nightly on my android smartphone some days ago and used it with Proton VPN and some antifingerprint commands of the browser panel. The first days were working properly, the last day was not working anymore with VPN, but I need to use it with my VPN. My VPN settings are the same that were before so the crushing problem is about the browser itself. Also tried disactivating browser extensions but nothing changed. I can't browse anything with VPN right now

Since installing a new version of Bitdefender yesterday I am having difficulty accessing a number of sites I previously used regularly without any problems. I am getting the error message reported in the Subject box.

For the last couple of days, when I am using Firefox I am bombarded with security alerts ranging from "System Alert" to "Viruses found (3)" to "Trojan Detected". The icons shown are Windows, McAfee, Google, and others. Mozilla Firefox with its logo are in small print, top left corner. I am usually asked to click; I do not click! I scanned my computer (Webroot) and the scan comes back clean each time. The last line in all of these is "via d04e3a0hubcc73bbgvsg.chainintegration.co.in" How do I get rid of these? I run Linux Debian 12 (bookworm), and there seems to be no way to disable Firefox from automatically starting up after system boot. I've searched through settings, read countless articles on the internet, looked at system auto-startup applications, but wasn't able to find anything that worked. I even looked in about:config, but couldn't find anything. Firefox isn't automatically started by my system and there is no parameter that disables it. I also didn't click through any choices about autostart when I first opened Firefox.

Well I've been chasing this problem for about a year. Things I have done. 1) reinstalled firefox 2)reinstalled windows 3)attempt to remove the ImportEnterpriseRoots flag via Regedit. (Mozilla does not even appear in in the policies folder) I Suspect this has something to do with having logged into my firefox account on a shared work computer, and the sysadmins subsequently removing the ability to use personal firefox accounts on these computers, to the point of not even being able to logout of the account.

It just keeps coming back. I only have MS Defender for security so I don't think its security software causing it, and I do not believe a virus/rootkit would survive several formats and reinstalls.

I have exhausted all possible restrictions for Fire Fox to sync with McAfee I have gone to Windows Firewall the inbound rule is blocked if rules don't apply Fire Fox and McAfee are both enabled on my personal computer as private The McAfee keeps showing a setup window for both Googles and Fire Fox At one time all 3 of my browsers were setup and then it drops as a change in default browser is selected

Anywhere between 3-5 popups have appeared on the right side of the screen essentially telling me of trojan detected, steps to protect my data, to remove viruses etc. and that my McAfee license has expired. Since I have not had McAfee for several years and the addresses to click on look suspicious to say the least I am not about to click. BUT There are boxes to dismiss & an X to remove in upper right corner. Clicking them removes the warnings for about 30 seconds & then they are back. What can I do to get rid of these? Obviously I'm not the most computer literate person around & am stumped.

since I moved offices and accepted fire fox as my default browser I keep getting a screen that say something went wrong and it wont allow me to access some websites

Everytime I open a new Firefox window, I get this warning from my antivirus:

Suspicious connection blocked 8 minutes ago

Feature: Online Threat Prevention

firefox.exe attempted to establish a connection relying on an unmatching security certificate to sync.contextualadv.com. We blocked the connection to keep your data safe since the used certificate was issued for a different web address than the targeted one.

Usually, when I see this happen, the company fixes the issue within a day or two, but this has been occurring since at least 4/9/2025. This warning occurs regardless of whether my browser is logged into it's Mozilla account or not.

I have a MacBook Pro running Sequoia 15.3.2. When I remove all data from Firefox (137.0 (aarch64)) in Manage Data under Privacy & Security there is one site datum that always returns. It is 64k of data, 0 cookies, that persists after every clean up. This has been going on for quite a while.

I've searched Finder for any reference to the company name and cannot find any reference.

It isn't a lot of data, but I'd prefer to not have something lingering around.

Does anyone have a suggestion for how to delete this once and for all?

New update to Firefox as part of a Windows update on 4/10/25 described a new firefox layout. I went to explore this new capability and firefox had a banner across the top saying my PC was managed by an enterprise. I built this PC from scratch.... How do I turn this setting off?

I am getting notices that I need to update my FireFox. I went to update and saw this message "updates disabled by your system administrator". What do I need to do to be able to do the update. Email:[edited from community support forum]

Hi. I did a clean install of Windows 11 yesterday. I reinstalled Firefox with the TreeStyletabs addon. I had saved the old sessionstore files so I thought it would be easy to get my tabs back.

Two things happens.

1) If I copy over a sessionstore.jsonlz4 to the profilefolder, it gets overwritten byt FireFox when I start the browser. 2) If I don't do that and instead click History and then Restore Previous Session Firefox will use the previousjsonlz4 and restore my tabs . But I have to do it everytime I start Firefox. It does 'remember' what I did.

How can I fix this?
