After a Windows system update, my usual first step has been to open Firefox and restore previous session. I am an old person and have had some memory difficulties in recent years so some of the pages I'd kept open on the taskbar icon had been there for as much as two or more years, but they always came back. After the most recent Windows update, the first thing that happened was that a message from McAfee (to which I subscribe) popped up. It was a very good 'Come-on," so I clicked it. It took me through doing some scans, then pitched a product that I didn't want to purchase so I closed that window. That resulted in a new, Firefox window opening, pitching the same product again. I now don't remember if I closed that pitch window and opened a new Firefox one before trying to restore previous session or if I tried the restore directly from that window but whichever I did, the only window that got restored was that latest McAfee pitch! Is there any way to get back the old stored Firefox pages from before the system update and my opening that McAfee window? Thank you very much.

Firefox autofill saves my phone number with a +1.

In other words instead of saving my phone number as 555-555-5555 it saves it as +1555-555-555. Of course this is rejected by 99.999% of the forms on the web making this part of the autofill useless. So I go to edit it by removing the +1 and save. It appears to save fine but when I look at it the +1 is back again.

Why the stupidity and and why not let me edit it to whatever I want?

I keep getting warnings from my Malwarebytes Antivirus as to "Malvertising, Domain: cdn28786515.ahacdn.me". Here is the report from my AV:

Can you please explain how I can get rid of this "Malvertising"? I do not have this on Chrome or Brave browsers although Firefox is my default browser. Thanks in Advance Al J

So, whenever I open Firefox it will act normally and then after a second close by itself and when I reopen it, it will be in remote mode. I know how to fix this via about:config and do this every time, but I would much prefer a permanent fix, nothing else on Firefox or my computer indicates something else is going on, its just this. I've even at one point uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox and it didn't help.

So I'm trying to remove my firefox data such as my bookmarks and saved log ins from a work computer because I retired. I signed out of firefox on the computer. I uninstalled it on this computer and then reinstalled and it's still showing the information even after logging out and restarting computer. I also deactivated the computer from my list of devices on my firefox account and that still did not remove the data. Can you please assist me in this removal of my firefox information from this computer.

Why is some financial data on emails from my banks or other similar sources blocked from being printed as received on AOL mail? How do I restore ability to print complete and actual copies of these emails?

Google Translate keeps popping up on an online directory page. I did not install the Google Translate extension or set up anything for translation, but it jumps in and covers the content. Please help me to stop it. Thank you. Please look at the screenshot.

When I access some sites, like wordpress ( as an admin), some icons are shown as hex codes instead of graphic icons - I have enclosed screenshots

I have tried to reset the fonts to firefox standard ( I had some other before) - it did not help

I have also tried to check the "allow pages to choose their own fonts - did not help I have also tried to UNcheck the "allow pages to choose their own fonts - did not help

I do NOT have the problem on Brave or Chromium

Hello.. I turn on my laptop, start firefox and all my bookmarks are gone... I wasnt log in for very long time during using firefox and what I can do now to get back my VERY IMPORTANT bookmarks?

To save and sync a new password, I put my email in and hit "Sign up or Sign in" - but then it tells me are you sure you want to create this account, because a previous user was in sync on this computer: and it's my same email. If I say yes and continue, it is asking to set a password and create an account. What happened to just signing in? Why did it stop me from doing so and reroute me like this? I'm in same browser and user platform as always on this device. Big snafu for no reason. BTW I signed in now with a different account to Support because I have to sign in to ask the question.

This is my first time to write and ask a ?I will be grateful if anyone can help me solve it. I signed up for the Free Relay of email just to try it out. My primary email was there and I added my secondary email --them I noticed there was what looks like a strange email already there. In conjunction with this i got a warning from Firefox today that somebody from Romania had tried to change my password.

Any Ideas I would appreciate them.

My computer crashed and I had to reset my account. For some reason the password that I was 99% sure was correct didn't work so in order to change my password it said I need an authentication key. I didn't recall getting one of those so I reset my password (even though it said on the screen I would only lose things like passwords and history). I of course lost all my bookmarks that I've been collecting for the last 20 years. And as life goes I've now found the authentication key. My question is can I get anything back now that I have that key or all my bookmarks are forever deleted?

In troubleshooting another issue, I discovered that running Firefox without hardware acceleration occasionally results in very weird text corruption and video stuttering. I was able to capture some screenshots of the issue, which I have attached. The text is still selectable and copy/pasting it to a document will show the proper text. Closing PIP windows helps the stuttering a bit. Issue persisted when a single tab of Firefox was the only non-background program running.

I have turned hardware accel. back on and haven't experienced the issue since. Just thought I ought to post in case someone else had this issue too.

I have login passwords on Firefox desktop but they are not showing in Firefox ios and sync everything is already enabled on both devices having common Firefox account

My sign in keeps going in circles. I followed the instructions the site requested, with no resolution. I still cannot get to my Pocket articles. I did the following: I signed out of pocket, I went to the login page, I attempted to log into pocket, which did not work, I logged into Firefox, I did not see "Continue to Firefox to login to pocket" I just keep going in login circles with email authentications and authentication requests. What is going on?

Since the most recent update, my bookmarks menu which I HAVE HAD & PREFER TO HAVE ON THE LEFT SIDE OF MY SCREEN, has disappeared. How I organized them and had them listed was IMPORTANT to me. What did you do, and how will you fix it?

I've installed Firefox on a new device and I'm having trouble having Firefox sync its bookmarks with my main system [on my win10/pc]. I have logged in and it has no bookmarks. when I open bookmarks is [correctly -- as it did in the past] shows "bookmarks menu", "bookmarks toolbar" and "other bookmarks". None of them has any bookmarks in them. What am I forgetting about having FF sync its bookmarks? thanks
