Hi,

Overall, TB has been great until now.

I have two email accounts on the page, mine and my wife's. Hers is fine but mine has a password box that pops up. At first, I just clicked the x and the emails would pour in, but after a few days, that would not work any longer. Sending is fine but receiving will not work. Then after repeatedly enter my password from long ago, the receiving of emails started working for a day. Now this evening, its asking for a password and no matter how many times I enter it, no go! I read your forums and disabled password authentication under tools. No go!

Can someone please help me.

Immediately after starting Firefox, if I try to open one of a couple of different links from the Firefox homepage, it will fail to load on the first try. At the moment, this only occurs with gmail (http://mail.google.com/mail/?hl=en&tab=wm#inbox or https://mail.google.com/mail/u/1/#inbox) and reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/all or https://www.reddit.com), and occurs when trying from either the Homepage's Top Sites or from my Bookmarks toolbar.

Example: Open firefox -> Click on Gmail in Bookmark toolbar -> VERY briefly (<.5s) see the tab loading -> Nothing -> Try again -> Successfully loads

Firefox takes over 30 seconds to load a tab that I've already opened and seen before.

I mean tabs that have already displayed some content, I switch to a tab, then go back to the tab I was previously on, and it takes over 30 seconds to load, sometimes over 3 minutes. This is making firefox unusable.

And because it doesn't happen all the time, it's not very reproducible for me, but it happens often. Is there a way to fix this?

Since Facebook released their new design to make it look more like Twitter, the website now runs slowly. The yellow bar appears saying that the tab is slowing down the browser, do I want to wait or stop the tab. The page freezes so I cannot interact with it or scroll up or down. Is this a firefox problem? Should I use the Firefox Profiler?

Had a problem with an add-on that resulted in all add-ons being deleted. As I wasn't sure what caused the problem, I deleted Firefox and reinstalled it. After the reinstall no add-ons were present. I added back 1 that I could remember, but the second one is gone. I do not remember the name of the add-on but found it very useful in managing pop-ups, videos automatically playing, etc. Would really like to get it back. By any chance, does Firefox store add-on information so that I might be able to find the missing add-on?

I am unable to use the static site of m.facebook.com since 15/10/2020 at Firefox But before 15/10/2020, I was regularly using the static site of m.facebook.com at Firefox. Why it's happening at Firefox?

I was asked by Firefox to update to the latest version. After installation and reboot it asks me again to download the latest version. It's as though the update installation didn't update. Please advise

Hi, I hope someone can help - this is starting to get a little annoying. I'd like my New Tab page to display my Bookmarks in the Highlights section. I only check the setting to show Bookmarks since what I'm looking for is something a bit like Speed Dial. The Highlights section can populate Visited sites just fine, but no bookmarks show up. My bookmarks are saved in the default Other Bookmarks folder. Safe Mode makes no difference.

This worked when I first set it up, but now the section is blank (again). It seems to happen after PC has been shut down, but I haven't tested that properly. Trying the steps mentioned in this post https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1282646 did nothing. Last time I fixed it by deleting my bookmarks completely and re-adding them, but that's not really a long-term solution.

Firefox retains a list of passwords to various sites. In a ransomware attempt, one of these passwords was shown to me. I no longer trust this feature and want do delete all passwords from the list immediately. Where is it?

Furthermore, I do not want to be asked if I want this password saved. How can i disable this prompt. Thanks

Will Firefox have its own flash software once Adobe flash is discontinued? Will it continue to work correctly if I remove Adobe Flash as instructed by Adobe? Please send us information on what to do.......Is Shockwave Flash 32.0 r0 Firefox's Adobe Flash alternative -- can I remove Adobe Flash without any problems to Firefox or any other programs?

The firefox browser has been closing itself recently, quite often aswell(2 times a day minimum). No crash reports, nothing like that afterwards either. when i reopen the browser it continues where i left off. i use the duckdugo extention if that may play a role in it.

Any ideas?

I'm having a weird problem with Firefox for a long time now.

I'm using the latest version, for windows, x64bits - 81.0.2

Sometimes, I press Ctrl+T to open a new TAB and I type an address or paste an address and it just won't load the page... It stays loading, loading and it does nothing.. BUT If I open another tab (Ctrl+T or in the plus sign) and paste or type and address, everything works... This can happen again on the same window or in another window... I just don't know what is happening... I haven't switch to another browser because I love Firefox to much, but I'm getting a bit tired of this problem...

Any hints on why this is happening ?

For quite some time I run Firefox in KDE over wayland using Gentoo package. Recently I enabled webrender to fix bad flickering while loading sites, and while that worked I now see garbled text display towards the end of longer web pages. I do not remember which Firefox version it was when I switched on webrender, but the issue persists through a few recent Firefox upgrades till my current 82.0 (this is Gentoo linux build)

I'm not sure if this is a new issue or the same one as in bug 1667534.

Is there any easy option to fix this, or this should be filed as new bug?

I can log in to my Venmo account using Chrome and Edge, however I get the attached error message when trying to log in using Firefox. I removed my cookies and data info for the Venmo site, but that didn't make a difference. Any suggestions?

I have 4 tabs on my home page. 2 of them open normally, 2 do not. If I click on the address bar of one of the tabs that does not load, a list of recent URLs drops down, with the URL of the tab on top. At the end of the URL, is the work "Visit". If I click on Visit, the URL loads. The other 2 tabs load normally. I am on Windows 8.1 and have the latest Firefox version. I believe this just started to happen after I upgraded. I have tried to use the troubleshoot Restart with add-ons disabled. Did not solve the problem.

After watching a youtube video in full-screen mode [f] or [F11] (in a window with about 20 concurrently running tabs of various other (non-video) things), the whole control interface area (address bar, menu bar, window header) disappears. This only affects the window that played the video, & although the other tabs areyet available through [Ctrl]+<hotkey>, all tabs in the wind lack the window/browser control interface. Firefox returns to normal after a re-opening of the browser. This disappearance does not resolve by just pressing the [Alt] key or by moving the mouse cursor to the top of the screen or by pressing [f] or [F11] to toggle full screen/normal. [F4], [Alt]+D, [Ctrl]+L, & [F6] are of no effect as URL input becomes unavailable (including no known access to "about:" features. [F12] does what it normally does (show webpage source code/elements). [F7] triggers caret browsing prompt. I did not bother with [F1], but all unmentioned F-keys were of no effect when pressed without combining with other keys. Perhaps it's a Win7 64-Bit issue, but I hope that you have a FireFox answer. Thanks in advance.

I hope this is appropriate here. If not, please direct me to where it is.

As new releases of Firefox (and Thunderbird too) come out, a constant question for me is whether the add-ons that are important to me (I use a lot) will be compatible with the new release. It would help if

(1) The Add-Ons web site always allowed me to specify release and OS. Sometimes that is allowed, sometimes not.

(2) The Add-Ons web site allowed me to specify a release before which I don't want to see add-ons listed.

(3) The Extensions page in Firefox allowed me to ask which of my extensions (enabled and/or disabled) are supported/not supported in a specified future release.

(4) When Firefox wants to install a new release, it reported on extensions that would become incompatible and always asked my permission to go ahead.

It probably would not be necessary to do all of these things, but I included them all because I don't know which are the most practical.
