With my previous browsers--such as Chrome and Brave--I could automatically get into key sites without signing in every time. I thought this was due to cookies that my login passcodes. In the case of Google, it is by far the most challenging. Despite having a gmail account since early 2003, and using Google regularly since the '90s, it persists in asking me lots of questions and texting codes, etc.

My situation with Firefox is not working smoothly as it was when I used it for many years about a decade ago. I've already imported such browser data from these sites.

Can you help? Otherwise, I'll move on to Safari again.

I have attached images of what slowly occurs when I don't clear my cookies, websites start to slowly and slowly load less and less until they eventually completely break and wont load and I have to clear my cookies, resign into everything. and rinse and repeat every few days or a week, I also attached an image of what the purchase screen is supposed to look like. Whenever i sign into youtube and then close the window when i come back ive been signed out and have to sign in again. i have "delete cookies and site data when firefox is closed" off and dont know what else to do

I don't know in which version exactly it happened but a few weeks earlier i was able to edit cookies like we can on all other browsers, but today suddenly i cannot.

I expected it to be a simple double-click and i can edit the cookie key name or value but it doesn't let me edit, it opens the detailed view about that cookie. I looked EVERYWHERE and could NOT find any way to edit the cookies for hours and this is really frustrating as a dev. This is important to troubleshoot many kinds of bugs when I am developing an app.

Could you kindly advise? WashingtonPost.com does NOT ask to accept cookies even after I deleted all cookies, website data and cache (but in Opera it does ask for cookies), after Firefox automatically deleting cookies and website data after closing Firefox, and after cleaning cookies, website data and cache with Ccleaner — WHY? Which mechanism of Firefox is exploited by WashingtonPost.com? And what should I do? Thank you!

Hello Is it Is it possible to have two separate installations of Firefox on the same PC. I would like one normal installation and one that would delete all cookies at shutdown. Thanks

I see a similar question on the forums from March 2021, but I'm having this problem now: when I go into icloud.com, it keeps asking for authentication - i.e. it presents a 6-digit code which goes to my phone/ipad, and I have to put it into the browser. After that, I'm prompted "Do you want to Trust this browser" to which I ALWAYS say "Yes", but it doesn't seem to work; the next day, if I try icloud again, it does it all over, like the "Trust" option is ignored. In settings, "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" is unchecked, Clicking "Manage Data" shows that cookies for icloud.com are saved. I've just added icloud.com into Exceptions to Allow to use cookies/site data, though I wouldn't think I'd NEED that if I'm never deleting them. I tried this with Chrome, and the Trust DID work; I can sign in with that browser and not have to put in the code.

What's up with that?

As I was trying to access my account on Chewy.com, This message pops up: "The page isn’t redirecting properly Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies." I am hoping someone can tell me how to fix this.

How to restore cookies which have been deleted by mistake. I have accidently cleared all cookies from the cache. however, some of the important information from one of the softwares (Zerodha) was stored in the cache as cookies. Now the entire data is lost. How can it be recovered

On my computer, I started using a VPN and I accessed a website like Avast.com (clicked OK on their cookie privacy policy) with Mozilla Firefox after forgetting to clear my past cookies and browsing data (from before using the VPN). Could that website or Avast.com (website server) have been able to track/obtain my real IP info or location through my browser's cookies/previous browsing data (from prior, different websites that I accessed)?

Please excuse my carelessness and ignorance. I am new to this. I don't know much about computers and the internet.

Recently I have run into an issue where any site I am logged into will not save that I am logged into that site if I close the tab or window. For example, if I am logged into YouTube, exit the tab, and open the same site in another tab, I then have to log into my account again.

I have tried this solution already: https://support.mozilla.org/bm/questions/1342460, to no success.

When I sign in to new websites, they never do keep me logged in. I noticed this problem is present only for services that are working for my friends, that use other browsers, so they can keep users signed in. For the websites that I had been logged in before it stopped working, I'm still signed in and I can enjoy not having to log in every time.

I believe it all started happening when I cleared my cookies once, around half a year ago.

I did however check my settings, and I don't have selected option, that clears cookies after each browser session. My password saving feature works as well.

Hello, Firefox keeps signing me out of Google websites like google.com and youtube.com when I close out the browser. I recently switched from Google Chrome and was wondering if this was a Google issue or if it was Firefox. It only keeps me signed out of Google accounts, and keeps me signed in for every other website. I have the "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" box unchecked and it still keeps me logged out, and I have "cookied" unboxed in my Clear History settings as well. I'd like to have this issue fixed as soon as possible for school-related reasons.

Why do Cross Site tracking cookies show up after I shut down the browser and restart? I have my history set up to delete everything when I close the browser so I'm curious why cross site cookies are apparently allowed to exist/function, even after a restart?

bold textMy issue is in Firefox I have 2 facebook account my personal one Cindy Betz Kuehl and my game account Cindy Kuehl Duc.  I deleted my cookies on Cindy Kuehl DUC and it deleted my facebook account for Cindy Kuehl  DUC.  I play games on this account and can't figure out how to get this account back.  I need your help please.

when I try to go to Costco.ca i get the error message saying the page isn't redirecting properly because of refusal to accept cookies. How do I accept the cookies so that I can log into Costco.ca? (I can log into Costco.ca using other browsers, just not Firefox)
