When I Login to one of my Financial sites web page, that does NOT recommend Firefox because of this Login issue. My stored Login and Password work fine the first time I Login. I also get a message to Save the new password. If I save this Login update the last character of my Password is changed. One example I have tried with my normal account Name but a Password ending in "$" when the saved Password is viewed it has been changed to "%24" and the Login fails now as it should. I am not sure if this is a Firefox or web page problem? This ONE web page is the ONLY place I have run into any Login issues. Login seems to be the only place the web page doesn't work correctly. The web page fix is NOT to use Firefox but to use other browsers. I am using the latest Firefox version 87.0 with windows 7 but this has been an ongoing problem over several years.

I am trying to log into www.xoom.com but it is always blocked and I have to use another browswer. This is the erro message I get:

Why does Firefox 'DEMAND' that I give my age when I open an account? Is it for selling to third-party companies? You do a lot and say a lot to protect your security but it would appear that by insisting that I reveal my age you are not respecting MY privacy. Mike

For the Send websites a "Do Not Track" signal that you don't want to be tracked, one of the options is "Only when Firefox is set to block known trackers".

How do I set Firefox to block known trackers? How do I set Firefox to not block known trackers?

Is having Enhanced Tracking Protection ON the same thing as having Firefox set to block known trackers? So if I turn OFF Enhanced Tracking Protection, Firefox will no longer be set to block known trackers?

So this visual bug has been happening on my Nightly install for months now. The "Site information for website.com" menu that appears when you click the lock icon in the address bar is basically unusable for me. The menu's header, "clear cookies" button, and arrow button are all fine, but the text in between is covered in globe icons. The "Connection Security" sub-menu that the arrow leads to has a similar case. (See screenshot.)

Huge disclaimer: I am using Shadowfox, which modifies a Firefox install to make UI elements darker. It has made text difficult to read for me at times, but it has never produced any really strange artifacts like this one as far as I can tell. I do have a Developer Edition install with no Shadowfox and it doesn't have the issue. However, maybe this is a common Nightly issue. (I guess this wouldn't make sense since DE is even more experimental than Nightly? I think?)

Maybe this is a problem for the Shadowfox team. Ultimately, the solution I really want is native support for a full-fledged dark mode, with black or gray color for UI elements such as the context menu. If this isn't going to happen and Shadowfox is indeed the source of the issue, I'll gladly let them know. But I thought it would be good to share with Mozilla, and why not the community, too. (Feedback tool is down right now.)

I used to be able to access bookmarked website without logging in, now I have to sign in. I really don't want the continual hassle of dealing with passwords associated with sites that I go to everyday.

The FireFox browser will store passwords for sites and load them as needed. However, some airline sites require user ID, last name, and password. FireFox does not seem to support all three fields. Is there a way to have FireFox enter all three fields on these sites?

Recently getting ads popping up on my android S6. I erased a few of the most recent aps and found one called Peel something or other. But the ads continue and pop up after entering my security code. I tried some blocking program but that didnt help or point me to the culprit. And I think the ads have something to do with yahoo although I dont have a yahoo ap on my phone. In the meanwhile I will try some other aps to block them. Thanks

I have a private network where a server still uses TLS1.0. Users currently have an option to continue to use the site by enabling support for TLS1.0/1.1. It will be a few months before we can migrate off the current server.

How long will this feature be supported where users can still access servers on old TLS?

hello:) using firefox 87 with windows 10 tried roboform did not like so removed it, now autofill passwords does not work never a problem before roboform , what can i do to fix it? allen-tina@comcast.net

I have persistent spam-ware type download that wont go away. I have deleted it but every time I restart Firefox it comes back and pops up saying "This File may harm your Computer" but i can't complete the download or remove it permanently. i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox several times and it has not worked how can i get rid of this? Using Firefox 68.12.0ESR. I know 78 is available, I just haven't had the time to test it yet. I delete cookies when I exit Firefox. I want to keep some for sites that I trust, such as this site. I've added exceptions to Allow these trusted sites as documented on a thread somewhere else, but it doesn't work. All cookies are deleted.

Is it possible to keep cookies only for a select group of sites. eg. support.mozilla.com, tomshardware.com, mydigitallife.net, speedtest.net and so on.

Hi all, I have an Apache site on Kubuntu 20.04 with a certificate signed by my private CA. I've added the root CA ceritificate in Firefox and in Chromium.

Firefox throws a SEC_ERROR_BAD_SIGNATURE error

Chromium accept the certificate as valid

What can I do?

Notes: the site url is "https://hdev.h.net" (with an internal IP address inside my lab)

Attached there are:

- the authority settings page
- the certification authority certificate as seen by Firefox
- the site certificate

Looking for a solution/work around to the new FF protocols which REFUSE exceptions, which has cut me off from streaming from LEGITIMATE web sites like https://news.stlpublicradio.org/ and other sites as well.

I have used FireFox since Netscape, but am now using Chrome which works fine.

Security is great, but when the security Trumps the ability to actually USE the web sites, then how is that different than just blocking the "offending" website.

You should ask yourselves why the FF market share is so low.

Hello, I would like to log out remotely from the Firefox browser that is installed on another device because it automatically logs in to all websites that I have visited frequently. Among other things, it is a discord where I value privacy very much and I do not want any person using the laptop (because there is no password and the device is also used by other people in the family) to have access to the account. First of all, I want to log out of the browser (i.e. simply log in again to just protect my data). This need came to me because the website (I closed the discord and I am 100% sure of it and it shows me that it is open all the time). I apologize in advance for the spelling because I translated myself with a translator because I do not know English very well.

I have enabled HTTPS-only to everywhere.

Unfortunately I have a site that I need to use for work. The site is only available over a VPN, so security isn't a huge concern to the site operators.

The really unfortunately part is that the webserver seems to be poorly configured. So if I go to "https://dumb-work-url.com" then it resolves, but then just shows me a 404 error. I really need just vanilla "http://dumb-work-url.com" to work. As far as I can tell the override option that is on the padlock only works if I land on the functioning page.

I can disable HTTPS-only, and then go to the site, but then the padlock doesn't give me the option to disable HTTPS-only for just that website. I'd really rather keep HTTPS-only on all the time since I'll need to be visiting this site quite a bit.

I need a way to add this url to an HTTPS-only "off" exception list before I visit it. Is there a way to do that?

on the https site, I turned off HTTPS-only (under the padlock), but that setting either isn't working, or isn't applying to the http version.
