Hi team,

I have misplaced my device and forgotten the 10 recovery digits for my Firefox account. The account had an add-on with over 1,000 downloads. Is there any way to recover my previous account using the email associated with it? I am curious as to why Firefox doesn't offer email-based account recovery.

lost synced tabs on phone from old imac. goal was to move all tabs on phone to new imac desktop. is this possible? Did I do it wrong? Is this a two way process? Reason was old imac froze on ios upgrade. cannot access FF. bought new imac. Can I recover with extension to access FF account I saw? Thanks

/moved thread from Firefox for iOS (for iPhone/iPad) to Firefox section as you have macOS on your iMac and not the mobile iOS.

On downloading recent versions, I found that the layout for the toolbar is not synchronized along with other data. Previously, all my add-on icons were synchronized and put in the right place. Now they are all crammed into the "puzzle piece" icon8 and the general layout is not preserved.

I have tested with both Microsoft store version and the normal installation from your website.

I reset my pc after using the same firefox account for years hoping it would just sync everything but it only synced my passwords up until maybe 2021. Is there anything I can do?

Generally i reinstalled my windows, downloaded firefox, logged in, but i don't have my passwords, addons, history or anything. Even restarting program doesn't work. I will be grateful for help.

Hello. I have tried to look through all threads about syncing devices, and I can't find a solution to my problem. I am trying to sync firefox tabs (many) from my macbook air 2019 (Ventura) to my main macbook pro (12.6.3 Monterey) because it has much more RAM. Synced tabs for the old Macbook Pro show up on more recent mac Air but not vice-versa. Can you help me figure out how to see all tabs on the older but more capacious-RAM device? Thanks!

I am trying to set up my FF account on another computer...

I log in, and get the code sent to my email, type the code says it's wrong.. I'm using the code that was sent to me..

wait 5 mins get a new code, same things code not valid.. any suggestions as I would love to be able to use sync on this new computer.. but guess that's not going to happen as the codes I'm getting are wrong?

Sorry for bothering, but I was wondering if resetting the password with the security code also deleted the saved passwords in the device. The wording in the information section was too obtuse for me to know if they would be removed or not.

Hi, I'm trying to recover my FF account using the recovery key. I used Google Authenticator for 2FA, reset the phone, found out GA doesn't back 2FA accounts up remotely. That was a few years ago; I gave up and went back to Chrome. Trying again to regain access to my FF account now, if possible. I don't have the backup codes, but I do have the 32 character recovery code, but I'm getting this error (screenshot) trying to use it. I tried the key with spaces (8 4-character blocks) and without, got the error both times. What am I doing wrong here?

While I was trying to sync the Firefox logins saved into my Firefox account to my a new iPhone Firefox installation:

1. I've noticed the logins contained the URLs only (i.e. - the account and password were empty)
2. then I logged out from the firefox sync
3. removed all the local logins (they were not containing any credentials) - while sync was not configured anymore
4. Logged back in with sync, but this time while the almost all the logins got wiped out from my firefox account, including from the logged in and working devices.

Is it possible to restore these logins? This happened few weeks ago and the firefox versions were:

• windows 109
• iOS - latest version as of around two weeks ago as the firefox was getting installed from the Apple AppStore.

Hi, I recently moved to a new country & bought a new laptop. I singed out of my ffirefox account from my previous device. I installed firefox in the new device and signed in with my old email id, but I couldnt find any of my previous history,bookmarks or passwords saved.

Please help me retain my info.

My passwords are different in my Windows and Iphone versions of Firefox. How do I make sure they are all up to date please? Many thanks - this causes me lots of problems when I am travelling. Tony Dearsley

I have installed firefox on a linux laptop-cant sync to desktop. Complication is that my primary email address will disappear tomorrow (Feb 16). I tried using a secondary gmail account but it just says that email address exists. I created a recovery key .txt but I cannot see how to use that on the linux laptop. SO: How do I now sync my linux laptop to get my tabs on my FF. Thanks

I can't log in on some sites with Firefox. I've tried to use another browser (microsoft edge) and with that browser the problem is gone.. Two sites that won't let me in with Firefox is cdbaby.com and walley.se What is the problem with Firefox that I use as my ordinary browser?

Hello there people. Before we get started a little info on me. I am old, decrepit and broken plus a little bit of a moron. Now we have that out the way here is my problem. I have a fairly old windows laptop running 8.1. I am absolutly certain that Microsoft are deliberately sabotaging it so it will no longer work! Not to much of a problem as my brother has given me a Mac. My problem is when I try to sync things on the Mac. Everything seems to be in a different place or hidden on the Mac. Is there a way I can get firefox to look exactly the same on the Mac as it does on windows?

If you need any more info I will gladly supply it if I can.
