After a re-start, my Firefox browser on a Dell laptop lost all history and has since also not been collecting websites visited. When opening a new tab, the shortcuts and recently visited websites are also gone and no longer being collected. My CCleaner recently updated itself to a new version but I unchecked the delete history for Firefox (which treacherously is clicked by default - I fell into that trap before). Happy to blame the new CCleaner but that would not explain why history is not being collected now - to me the fault seems to lie with Firefox instead. Another possibility that went through my mind: Is Microsoft sabotaging users of Windows 11 to force them to buy new? PS: Under "Privacy", "History", the setting is "Firefox will remember history", as it always has been and should be. But it has forgotten all previous history and it is no longer collecting any new history either!

Firefox freezes when I try to sign into YouTube via Google. Becomes totally unresponsive and I have to close browser. It's the only site this happens on. I have cleared the cache and cookies, unchecked "Hardware Acceleration" and other recommendations from other posts. Please talk to me like I'm your Baby Boomer dad.

mozilla won't save my previous windows and tabs even though i have that check marked in the settings. it's been like this for months. to keep them i've had to keep my pc on for moths. help, i'm thinking of leaving Mozilla because of this, it's incredibly frustrating to lose all my work every time.

I am unable to navigate around some websites beyond the page on which I have landed. The site briefly (split second) looks OK and then gets slightly greyed and no other links on the site are accessible. Examples of sites: https://www.signia.net/en-gb/ https://www.flickr.com/

Hello, I have spent the last couple of hours reading through other questions and posts but nothing seeemd to work. If I try to copy a shared link in OneDrive or SharePoint on my desktop and then paste that link into Outlook Web App, the paste function does not work. The option is there, but the actual pasting does not materialise. CTRL+V also does not work. The only thing that does work is if I paste the link into another window first and then copy again, and the CTRL+V works. Right click and paste never works. I have tried this in a private window and in safe mode. I have also checked the clipboard settings in about:config to make sure they are not working against me. It works fine on Chrome. It has been like this since I moved over from Chrome a few weeks ago. Is this a common issue or a 'me' problem? Instructions everywhere say to open Firefox on mobile, select the options menu, and select "Sync and save your data." However, "Sync and save your data" does not exist. I cannot sync my passwords from mobile to my desktop.

I was, admittedly, perhaps doing a bit much on my ram at the time. but i didn't expect this. i didn't expect it at all.

screen went black a moment, firefox crashed. I figured it was fine! it crashes sometimes. it always restores my tab. the little bug report was there! willing and ready to restore my session for me. i let it restart fox.

i get the firefox sesion restore tab. but i already am filled with dread and upset. because i can see, in my peripherals, the blue button to restore session, is already greyed out. checking the little drop-down that shows you your session- [expletive]. empty.

God. what the [expletive]. I- what the [expletive]. it's a stupid thing to cry over, im sure. But some, most, of those tabs were YEARS old, from when i moved. and i've been having a hard time thinking about my old home lately. and now i've lost another bit of home. Some of those tabs may not even be in my [expletive] history anymore; i have a weird cut off of my oldest history in the history window, library window, thingy, where i can tell history was wiped, but i never wipe my history. i have no clue why this wipe even happened! Other then pushing it on my pc a bit much, but it's not been the first time i haven't paid attention; and it's restored before! what the [expletive]. Deeply upsetting. i've tried, even, to restore things myself; i have a 'upgrade.jsonlz4' file, few months old, but enough to have most of my tabs if it were stored inside; tried to rename it one of the recovery files, 'recovery.jsonlz4' and 'recovery.baklz4', then both, but doesn't work to get my windows back. This is awful.

I find that many websites don't run on firefox. Examples are virgin atlantic, holiday autos and copa airlines. I have to switch to Chrome to use them. Considering that firefox releases updates frequently this situation is surprising. Is the firefox administration aware of this issue? Is there any way to overcome this problem?

My shortcuts no longer appear on my homepage. This just started happening. Shortcuts are still enabled in my settings. I refreshed Firefox. The shortcuts reappeared for a while, then disappeared again when I closed/reopened Firefox. I am on Windows 11 O/S

For years I have used Firefox to access my Bank of America online account. I am also using Quicken kinked to Bank of America. Today, when logged into bank of America, every action I take results in being sent back to the sign on screen. After clearing with Quicken Support as requested by BOA, I was directed to use a different browser which worked normally. I was told by BOA that the issue was with Firefox.

It appears to be unplayable via Firefox for Ubuntu, 143.0.4 (64-bit), or earlier versions.

Is this some sort of censorship?

I'm using the latest Firefox. All of a sudden as of this morning, Firefox cannot not load Facebook or Twitter. I can open YouTube and YouTube videos appear but will not play (just a spinning wheel when I try to play). The Amazon landing page is scrambled with code. (see image attached)

I use Ghostery ad blocker but the issue persists when Ghostery is paused. I can use Safari without issue. Can anyone offer any insights?

В том числе с подменой данных в папке sessionstore-backups: запускал браузер - находил эту папку - вставлял нужный файл .jsonlz4 - перезапускал браузер. В таком случае все мои вкладке были на месте НО после закрытия-открытия браузера сессия снова сбрасывается. При очистке браузера, появлялась кнопка "восстановить предыдущие вкладки", восстановление происходило, НО закрыл-открыл браузер - и снова пусто. Пробовал удалить браузер и установить снова - та же проблема. После запуска, если открыть журнал - в разделе недавно закрытые вкладки, недавняя история поиска - пусто, как будто предыдущей сессии вообще не было. Как исправить эту проблему? Примечание - мои закладки, введённые пароли и расширения на месте.

I thought I was just upgrading my Mozilla/Firefox account account and now everything I had is gone. I had an automatic taskbar that went to most of my frequently used services like my bank, yahoo mail, etc. Now I have stupid stuff that I never use. Makes me want to switch to something else.
