When I got Firefox, I had a Win 10 computer. I was able to use Win 11 for several years. Why cannot I have Win 11 instead of Win 10 and its nagging? I asked for the most recent software, which was provided, but it is still for Win 10. Your website said to go to Microsoft if I got it that way instead of Mozilla. That was years ago, and I don't remember which way I first got it. Microsoft just referred me back to Mozilla. I tried to find something in my profile that I could change, but I didn't see that there.

Using the Firefox browser, I tried to copy an image and wasn't able to do so. Then I copied an image using another browser and wasn't able to paste it into a Facebook post on Firefox. Please tell me how to fix this. I can't copy/paste text either. Could the problem be my Mozilla VPN?

Just found Firefox's (v149.0) VPN button in my toolbar. I turned it on and entered whatismyipaddress.com. I got the message

"Unable to find the proxy server. Firefox can’t connect to the server at whatismyipaddress.com"

If I turn it off FF brings up the page correctly. I get this error msg for any other urls I try to bring up. Ideas?

I'm on a private home network with an internet connection. When I try to use Firefox it displays a message saying "You must log in to this network before you can access the internet".

Many websites, e.g. Amazon, won't load and an 'Open network login page' button is shown. When I click this it takes me to a Mozilla page talking about Captive Portal, but there's nothing about how to stop this happening and access those websites.

Other browsers, e.g. MS Edge, or Brave, have no problem access these websites.

How do I fix this problem?

need to be able to download my old sites. and stop getting error 522 can not connect to some sites due to not secure anymore... help need to watch some movie sites.. Jose

I was randomly signed out of FireFox this morning. When trying to sign back in, it asked for the 6 digit code from my authenticator app. I looked on every authenticator app I have and don't see a mozilla or firefox account. I only have 4 backup authenticator codes left. How do I find the code in the authenticator app and which app would it be? Also, How do I get more backup codes? If I am unable to sign in to FireFox in the future because I don't have the correct authenticator app or enough backup codes, it would be painfully devastating for myself and my work. I don't want to ever be in that situation. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have just downloaded Mozilla to my new laptop. I have Mozilla on my old laptop.  Can all my bookmarks be synchronized with the download to my new laptop.

My Firefox had auto updated to the newer version with AI built-in and auto-enabled, which meant the browser would crash EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I would launch it.

For perspective, I am running an old Lenovo Thinkcentre mini PC with an Intel i5 6th gen and 16gb of ram; its got Windows 11 installed, and always running out of memory with the simple things like browsing and word processing. This is NOT a PC or use-case that needs or warrants AI.

So, I uninstalled Firefox (149) and installed the latest version WITHOUT AI built-in (147).

I then synced my profile, and things ran fine. An hour passed, and then i kept getting an error, saying my profile was created with whatever and I need to create a new profile.

So, I created a new profile and synced, again, and I got the error, AGAIN...

I'm about to boycott Firefox on all the devices I control, and opt for an older version of Opera or something more obscure, so that I don't have to deal with this nonsense.

Every time go to Firefox home page (clear browser settings), I get "Account Disconnected" message.

I have another PC with the same Firefox browser homepage and do not have the problem.

Help or suggestions appreciated. TU for reading.
