I am in another time in short time with same problems. Firefox don´t want to start any downloads. It can be small file in pdf, install files or larger files. In all cases it failed. I can not hear any sound in Firefox as printing is impossible. Exactly same operations in Edge browser working just normal. There I can dowload, listen music or hearing other sounds, as downloading is working normal.

I restored PC to early date but improvment isn´t done, so I am same trouble

i can pretty much punch around and eventually figure things out but i can not seem to find the pop up adds enable button,and can this be the cause of my things not wanting to download

I am not smart enough to follow the crazy programming instructions for when ALL your saved passwords get ERASED!!!!

I have never had a problem like this! I have passwords years old that I don’t have a clue what are because they WERE all saved!!!!

I want them back!!!!!

Can't get Firefox browser to load. Have cleared the temp folder. This is a new HP Win 10 laptop. What else can I do?

Hello,I have Windows XP 32 bit with service pack 3 and Firefox 52.9.1 ESR browser. Now that adobe flash player is history I can't play videos online that are not on youtube. I can still watch youtube videos.

Is there a HTML5 video player or something else I can install on this old system that will work or is that not possible? I know it's an old system but it still does the job.

I frequently download excel worksheet files in the format of .xlsx The extension is not found in the Firefox options-files and applications-applications content type. It is not an option to choose this to save the file in a particular location--see attached screen shot. If it is under another name please let me know. There is an option to download excel worksheet files--only 97-2003, xlsx is an Excel 2016 worksheet. Why isnt this updated with the latest version of Firefox: 85.0.2 which I am using? Even if I select 'use excel 2016 (default)'--screen shot 2/ it does not have the option to remember where to save the file--only to open with or save, like the option for other files.--screenshot 3.

I just want it to always save to desktop.

I am having difficulties today. I was downloading a surveying software program and it appears to have made changes to my computer, such that it destroyed my ability to use Firefox. I have uninstalled it and tried installing it several times . . . and I get the same error coming up (see attached screen save).

Can you assist me in being able to install Firefox again.

Last time I reinstalled Firefox all my bookmarks and login information for various sites was automatically restored (and I was greeted with "Welcome back" message). I would like to know the location on my disk where Firefox stores that information. I have Firefox 85.0.1 (64 bit) running on Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS. Thanks in advance!

hello i have done firefox download I checked this with virus total and it indicates that the firefox of the original web page has this TrojanDropper.Autit.ra has what is firefox doing against this because i vidn this very much because there may now be a virus on my laptop due to firefox i thought it was safe to download firefox from your web page

When I read the other comments at least I know I'm not alone? What has happened to the internet? I know this isn't MS is blocking Firefox installs. THAT WOULD BE ILLEGAL, RIGHT.

So what's the fix?

I recently got a prompt to get the latest version of Firefox 85.01. After installing it (there were some glitches in doing so) it erased all of my settings, my bookmarks, and saved passwords. I have lost so much from it literally broke my heart. I had a huge library of bookmarks that are all gone. I spend hours going through each website I have to log into and either find the old password or create a new one. Your upgrade has been one colossal headache.

Is 85.01 a valid upgrade or was I scammed and being scammed to get all my passwords?

If it is valid upgrade, why would you delete all of my setting and data?

Hey all, I need to stick to 84.0.2 for a while and need to permanently disable update to 85 or newer builds! But the dumb Firefox downloads itself and install on next launch! Please help me permanently disable updates downloads even when opening about windows, via settings?! Thanks in advance.

Hello, For some reason I need to download and stick to the 84.0.2 for a while, so need to download it from release history. But I'm confused between normal release vs DRM Free release!

1. Which one is the one posted on the public website for public download?

2. Can you please explain DRM Free simply?
