Ever since the most recent update to Firefox I consistently get the following message when attempting to login to https sites which I have been connecting to for years: Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to www.att.com. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR

Error code:PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR

   The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
   Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

Clearly the problem is with Firefox and not with the website owner since it occurs with all websites.

I found over 100 instances of PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR but the few responses I looked at were back in 2021 or 2022. One solution suggested clearing the cache which I did and I was then able to connect. But now that does not help. Is my only reliable solution to delete Firefox and use some inferior browser?

Is there any way to keep an older version of Firefox without its getting upgraded all the time? Version 99 only has a small header at the top, so there is still space on my screen to see the website I'm trying to see. The newer versions (100 and newer) take up too much space on my screen. Every site has its own headers, and so I am left with about an inch of working space. That's really not enough to see anything.

Is there a way to get the security updates without the new look? Is there a Firefox Light version available, with minimal headers and all? I prefer Firefox, and would love to keep it. Having to reinstall it (to get the older version back) several times a week is not good.

When I try to access my Etrade account the connection fails. Sometimes I can reach the log in page but cannot log on, Usually, I can't even access ETrade. I can log on using Microsoft Edge but not with Mozzilla,

when i go to Facebook i continue to get network errs and also in Facebook I keep getting something went wrong reload the page. I have disabled and deleted some add ons an even tried in trouble shoot mode and still i get it. I have tried every thing i know how even refreshed Firefox. I do not get it in Chrome and it has much of the same add ons or extensions. I tried to send a report to Facebook but you know how that goes.It is getting annoying Not sure if it Facebook and Firefox or just Facebook . But if ti is not happening in Chrome or edge that leads me to come to the conclusion it is Firefox

Have not been able to log on to a few sites (all financial base: bank etc) since approx April 2023 Have done all the dirty dozen: cache/update FF/reset/ disabled ad blocks etc.) and still no luck: had to revert back (after about 10 years) to safari (ugh) scoured back in archives for similar problems but found no answer. Does anyone have any idea? (i have not upgraded my mac os 10.14.06 and require itunes to remain) Thanks

Although I didn't change anything with firefox, now my browser opens in a tiny window, and I must hit the full screen symbol twice to get it in full screen, why? I've done all the 'fixes' for this F11 and others, nothing changed.

As of a few weeks ago, I can no longer copy and paste when using Outlook for emails with Firefox as the browser. I have no issues if I use the MSN browser. When using Firefox, I can copy and paste in the subject line but not the body of the text. This is a real pain! I had no issues until a few weeks ago. If I try to copy and paste, I am able to copy but when I right click I no longer get a "paste" option. I now have an emoji option in its place. What's up with that?! I am using Windows 11 as the operating system on a Dell computer. Thanks in advance!

This is the last time I'm going to inquire about this topic. I will switch browsers bc Firefox touts their superior product with hundreds of complaints I just cant ignore further.

I USED to be able to close Firefox browser with confidence. Now I can expect to waste several minutes a hour/day logging back into my websites bc Firefox no longer remembers my login information..

I want ONE thing from Firefox, step by step by step instructions on how to put your browser back to the way it was before you'all decided to to "make things better".

Hello, I use both Firefox and Firefox developer edition and in both (different accounts, not synced) in my Firefox I set Persian as an alternative language about a year ago now I can't remove it. The developer edition is just in English but the buttons and some of the text is in Persian (it's the same with Firefox) My laptops default language is English with only Persian keyboard. how can I fix this?

I installed firefox on macbook. firefox version: 113.02 Initially, everything was fine, but after 1-2 days, firefox automatically forwarded http to https. I didn't install any add-ons. Then I had to refresh firefox by using the option in Help--More Troubshooting information. After refreshing firefox, everything was back to normal and I was able to access http website, but after 1-2 days, firefox automatically forwarded http to https again. Once again, I didn't install any add-ons. please help. thanks!

A website that is not secure is only accessible on firefox when the https://www prefix is deleted on each page I attempt to accuse on the website, cascadeprimetimers.org. I have given access to not secure pages for this site in the privacy and security settings. How does this get fixed?

• After a Google search, I cannot click any link to go to the page result.
• If I type in an address the Webpage just won't load.
• My Gmail often will not load.
• I have several emails, but the list in GMail won't show them
• YouTube plays horribly choppy. (I followed a help guide to change some setting, but it did not help)
• I have to constantly use Chrome instead. I don't want to use Chrome. There is no problem with any of these in Chrome, so I know it is a Mozilla Firefox problem, I just don't know how to fix it.

I have been using gmail through firefox for years without problems. I have not recently changed in settings in firefox or gmail. Starting about two weeks ago, when I try to access gmail through firefox I only get a blank, white screen. No error messages. The only help articles I find are 8 years old and their trouble-shooting suggestions are not working. How can I regain access to gmail through firefox?
