With every release of Firefox I find that more and more websites that I use become unusable with Firefox, meaning I have to constantly switch between browsers that are not broken, like Chrome and edge. Before abandoning Firefox altogether I would like to know if it is possible to repair Firefox. The latest site Firefox that causes Firefox to crash is thai-language.com, which returns the completely false and meaningless message "The proxy server is refusing connections Firefox can’t connect to the server at www.thai-language.com". This worked well until the latest 'upgrade' or rather 'downgrade' from Firefox.

I've used Firefox for 10-15 years but recently it started not opening some web pages on corporate websites, which I assumed was a problem with the site. When I told my techs, they tried the sites from other browsers they use and it was working fine. So I tried from my laptop (it's 4 months old, Windows 11) using MS Edge and no problem, previously blocked sites now working. I've scanned Firefox settings but can't resolve. Any suggestions?

Note that the site listed in the error message does not contain the S in https. I manually typed the address with the S and received the same message. I found your correspondence with aprilbrown77 on 8/15/23 and tried all the solutions suggested with no success. I believe Kohls change something on their website 3 weeks ago. My operating system is Windows 7 - 32bit and my Firefox version is 115.33.0esr. I have contacted others using Windows 7 and they all have the same problem. Please update Firefox to resolve the Kohls website issue for the millions of us using Windows 7. Thanks.

I have no idea what is happening. Whenever I try to use youtube on firefox the site just freezes. I can still scroll up and down, but nothing that wasn't already loaded loads, I can't click on anything, and nothing except scrolling does anything.
The reload, home, and even screenshot buttons don't work in these frozen youtube tabs. The only way to do anything is to open a new tab and close the frozen youtube one.
Youtube is completely unusable because of this.
I turned off every single addon, I restarted firefox, I restarted the entire computer, I tried in a private tab. It still freezes every time.
I don't have a VPN, I do not have the problem on any other website (even other media-players), and I don't have a clue what is happening.
I do have youtube premium.
Any help would be appreciated. I need to watch stuff for my studies but I just can't

Lately when following links from google searches to some sites I get a "can't find" or "access not allowed". These sites tend to be hardware stores - specifically Home Depot or Lowes and some times Walmart. It is NOT my OS!! Because I copy the URL and paste it into Chrome and it works just fine.
Obviously switching to Chrome would solve this issue - but I've used Firefox for years and prefer to stick with it.
What's changing out there that is causing these incompatibilities?

Hallo Firefox Community, ich habe seit 2 Wochen das Problem, dass ich mich mit Firefox nicht mehr auf bestimmten Seiten einloggen kann bzw. die Seiten sich bei der Anmeldung nicht mehr laden. Hoffe hier hat jemand eine Erklärung dafür. Ich bin auf mein Firefox angewiesen, verwende den Browser schon eine halbe Ewigkeit. Möchte ungern auf einen anderen Browser wechseln.

Have turned on screen recording permissions in Mac settings and some other accessibility permissions that have been suggested and nothing helps.
Will need to use a different browser just to screen share.

It is supported on other browsers. I really don't want to switch browsers, I love firefox. I have been unable to log into my email provider from their home page https://mailbox.org/en/ using Firefox. There is a progressive web app that "goes with" Firefox (if that is the right term) and that does not seem to work either. I get blank screens. I have succeeded in logging into mailbox.org in Microsoft Edge and in Brave. Can you please give me any clues as to what settings or whatever I need to configure in Firefox to be able to log into mailbox.org ?
