recent firefox update can no longer copy and paste when creating a blog post in Squarespace, I have been using squarespace for around 15 years for my websites and I have never seen this issue, Firefox 15.1 installed and all of a sudden when trying to create a blog post in Squarespace, when I right click a text box pop up and it no longer says paste so I can no longer copy and paste text - this is more than a little annoying, you will not be surprised to know that I am now using Chrome to create my posts, there is no issue in chrome. I am a firefox geek! how can i solve this problem, I just did another update from Firefox, the issue remains I have been using computers for 40 year so I am not a novice but software glitches, I am lost

As of today, this was the situation (image 1). I had to do a manual update.

Also, when I first visited here today, I was not logged in. I 'd like to stay logged in. Then, I couldn't have been here for more than 15 seconds, and this appeared. How can a session be expired when there was no session? Is this part of the reason I don't stay logged in?

Updated to FF 150 today on Win 11 desktop.

Q1: Can I remove Profiles from the FF toolbar which is located in between Bookmarks and Tools? Only need one profile on this PC. I tried to customize the toolbar but it won't let me drag Profiles off.

Q2: For some reason my FF profile is now on C: even though I had previously moved it to D: to free up space on C: boot drive.

So I created a new profile with exact same folder name on my D: drive today.

In Profile Manager, I renamed the old profile on C: to "name.old and the new one on D: to "name.new". I set name.new as the default profile and it works properly after exiting and restarting FF.

Now I want to delete the .old profile but FF won't left me, saying Can’t delete a profile that is linked to other profiles. There are only the .old and .new profiles listed. So how do I unlink .old so I can delete all of it to free up space on C: ?

At the last FF update, I discovered that I had VPN on my top status bar but what does it do?

I have v. 150.0.1 (64 bit). Also Windows 11. I live in France and the only reason to use a VPN is to watch a UK soap which I cannot watch by any other means unless it's live on the TV. I know how to turn it on (obvious), so when I use the BBC website, this is what I do. But it makes not the slightest bit of difference as I am still recognised as being outside the UK.

Am I not doing something please?

When I try to setup my home page to be something other than the Firefox default the page never loads. Also, if I try to go to the page without it being my home page, it never loads. I can open that website on other bowers, also other websites seem to load in Firefox, but slowly. The webpage I want to use is www.aldaily.com.

I have searched on-line and performed the actions that are suggested - i.e. clearing cache, cookies, restarting the computer, restarting my router. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing Firefox, nothing seems to work.

I would like to get some suggestions from you as to what I should try.

I fear I must reset or reinstall Firefox. Before I do that, I want to save the URLs of the open windows. Or save a larger set of URLs, such as shown in the Library window at History>Last 7 Days.

How can I save this data?

Hey hey So On my old system I logged into my FF account did 7 syncs just in case whi all were telling that I'll have all of my stuff right away but.... I reinstalled Windows and... installed Firefox and got freaking 00000000 zeeeero tabs or passwords synced.... All of the manual attemps of sync got nothing, absolutely nothing!? So what was the point of online account which does nothing and just give a fake faith??? I would rather do cp -r of local foler as I did for the last 20 years.... But this time I was faked with fake "sync all good" which doesn't work and just fake people

Firefox has been automatically updated on Windows 11 and Tahoe, and now every time I close the browser, all tabs close – even the pinned ones – despite the ‘Open previous windows and tabs’ option being selected at startup.

I can't login to reddit on desktop but I can on mobile.I disabled all the extensions I have, cleared the site data and cache, reloaded the page after each of the aforementioned and am still unable to login. I can login with no issues on mobile and chrome. Every tip I saw said to disable malware bytes guard, but, I do not have that extension. Any idea what could be causing the issues?

I have been using this wonderful browser since 2012, and it has been my default browser ever since. Recently, I've been facing an issue where I can't upload images, audio files, videos, or any other attachments on WhatsApp Web through this browser. To verify the problem, I tested WhatsApp on a different browser, and everything worked perfectly there.

I would appreciate your advice on how to resolve this issue. Please guide me on what steps I can take to fix the browser and restore normal functionality.

I have been getting problems with profiles under 2 separate account after trying org my work in to workspaces in a recent transfer to Linux mint. Some of the obstructions did not make sense such as enter your email and we will ask things only you know in attempting to check what was wrong with my pass. But the interface will simply not respond getting me stuck unable to proceed. So went on my handsets that corresponding to these two profiles to sort why correct pass was not opening the way. In one of them it simple and one reason I don't like so-called rec key. The 2nd required rec key and after keying that long thing I was able to see the pass and it is what it is. Now however my rec key needs replacement so click download which broughtbup indicating it was download but nothing. Went and my download folder, notification , even Documents... Nothing as I am sure this may lead to problems in the future of not soon and wanting to get my organising over asap, I want to tell somebody in charge to help address the problem

I had to reload firefox after getting xpcom error messages, now i can't work out how to restore my passwords,bookmarks etc from my sync profile that i set up months before.

recently for no apparent reason, Firefox is having extreme difficulty loading sites, with the spinning wheel going on for minutes at a time. It seems to happen with any website, but not with other browers. I have checked for malware with 3 different programs, and disabled the vpn. Other suggestions online seem to be 'for experienced users only', which does not include me. What should I do. Do I need to delete and reinstall Firefox? thanks.

I recently installed firefox on my Windows 10 laptop, but i cant pin it to the taskbar via right click (this bug wont go away no matter what i do) and also cant open the start menu (also wont go away). I also tried to pin it directly via the exe, but for some reason, it opens another version of firefox, almost as if it was in another acount was logged in (i only have 1 account in firefox).
