Hello, I have all of a sudden having issues using We Transfer to download files in Firefox. It stops short of the full file, but says it is downloaded. I contacted We Transfer and they asked me to use the private window option. I did that and it worked. I told We Transfer and this was there response.

Incognito mode works without extensions, so if it worked in Incognito and not in the regular mode, please try to disable all extensions/firewall/ad-blockers to see if it helps with the normal mode.

I don't know how to find these in Firefox to do this.

I send invoices from reckon in PDF format attached to an e mail created in Reckon to my clients. Everything ran perfectly (and has done for years) on April 1st. Last week Reckon failed and told me I had the password wrong. (This is rubbish - as nothing has changed) After a week of talking to Reckon help desk I was told that it was Firefox/Gmail who have changed the system and will no longer accept third party interactions. (I think that is what he meant)

Can anyone give me a work round?? Other than printing and scanning and sending manually - I did this yesterday and the time it took was just mind boggling. Many Thanks for any thoughts - as I am not technically minded please be simple in your responses

Earlier I had a problem with Facebook. When I clicked on the Firefox icon on the task bar Facebook would open to my home page. Then, out of the blue, this afternoon, when I open Facebook, a small page would show up then Facebook would load. When I would close FB (x in upper right corner), that mysterious page of FB was there. Had to close it by clicking on the X in the upper right corner. Tried several things but could not get it to go away. So, I uninstalled/reinstalled Firefox. Got everything reinstalled. Now,when I click on the Firfox icon on the task bar, what comes up is the Facebook log-in page where I have to enter ID/password. Before, Facebook would open automatically. Any idea why this is happening and how do I get FB to open automatically like before? Thanks

This is the same on both Mac and Windows. It does not depend on the Japanese input method (IME). Refresh and reinstallation did not resolve the issue. Finally, I reverted to the previous version and the phenomenon was resolved.

We've changed WiFi providers from Comcast to a fiberoptic system that gives us a 2.4 network and a 5G one. For both networks, Firefox will allow some websites to load, some of the time, but not all of the time and usually it won't bother with images. For other websites, the connection just times out completely. If I switch back to the older Comcast networks, the Internet works without issue, but those networks won't be available for much longer. Firefox on my phone is doing fine, but it's like this when I try my old laptop, too.

I have gone through this article. Made sure Firefox can get through the firewall. Poked at the proxy server settings; nothing changes whether it's off, auto-detect, or using system proxy settings. Disabled IPv6. Disabled DNS Prefetching. Cleared my cookies and history. Checked for malware. Gone into Troubleshoot mode to see if it's an extension. Nothing helps!
