I'm crazy when I DO it. How do I fix?

I like the idea of horizontal tabs, but the line between the topics and the website is TOO DARN SMALL!

How do I go into to make it larger?

I know it's simple, but HOW?

And by the way . . . HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Certain PDFs only allow page view when opened in Firefox. When opened with other PDF viewing software or browsers (Microsoft Edge, Adobe Acrobat, Google Chrome), these PDFs allow continuous scrolling. I don't have this issue for most PDFs.

I've tried fixing the problem by editing the PDF settings in Adobe Acrobat but to no avail. When combining a PDF that works fine with a PDF that doesn't allow continuous scrolling in Firefox, it seems to take on the settings of not allowing continuous scrolling.

How do I set up Firefox to remember my login security approval for websites (for instance JPMorgan Chase Bank). Chase Bank used to remember, but now I have to verify my identity each time I log in to Chase Bank.

Social Security just stopped me from downloading my 2026 COLA on Firefox with an error 400 (bad request), but I was able to do it on Edge. More and more websites, particularly financial and government websites, work with Edge but not Firefox. And when I call their customer services, their first response is "try another browser!" Why do they hate Firefox?

If someone wants me to walk them through an example of the problem(s), I can do that when I pull statements or pay bills on those websites. I also have Mozilla VPN, and some things only work when I turn off the VPN, so that may be compounding the incompatibility. Although I am in Eugene (OR), the closest location for my VPN is Seattle.

how can a firefox145 (on Win11) update be rolled back?

it seems update 145.0.2 has killed all audio in firefox. Other browsers and programs have functioning audio. But nothing restores audio in FireFox after the update. I have closed and re-started FF - even hot and cold reboots of the machine. It is clearly a FF issue. The only solution appears to be a roll back, unless there is a preferences line that might have been shifted.

Hi, I'm running Firefox 145 on a MacBook Air, with MacOS 12.7.6 (Monterey). When I try to add a bookmark to an existing folder on the Bookmarks Toolbar, it will not show up. It does show up if I go to the hamburger menu, and then Bookmarks/Recent Bookmarks, but not from the Toolbar. This is true for any folder on the Toolbar. I do not have this problem with Firefox 145 on Linux Mint Cinnamon. Is this a bug or a feature? Please advise, and thanks.

I use a Lenovo Legion 5 laptop pc and a second Samsung monitor. When the screens go to sleep with Firefox open on the second monitor, the second screen will not wake up again instantly. It can take up to 5 minutes or only after rebooting.

When I close the Firefox window on the second screen from the taskbar on the laptop, the second screen lights up again.

Any ideas?

For the last two to three weeks The Firefox updates have changed the way bookmark data is retained. Firefox will allow bookmarks to be added and retained on the tool bar for any sessions - until firefox is restarted and then the bookmarks no longer work.

I've been using Firefox for decades without any problems. Still on Windows 10. The last update 'made' my bookmarks 'disappear'. I can see all the backups, but somehow they can't be reloaded. Worse, can't even reload my own earlier backup (HTML format). I've tried all available tricks to no avail.

In the standart view of a video, the feature works, but not in fullscreen. In Chrome it also works in fullscreen. Firefox should have support for it since v126 or so, im on v145

I need to find out why Firefox won't open anymore. A pop-up window says it is trying to install a new helper tool but it won't accept the password I use. This is on a Mac M2 with OS 15.4.1

I have many website icons from closed tabs at the top of the page that are crowding out my open tabs. I don't know why they keep appearing and I can't get rid of them. I've tried everything I can think of. I'm on an iMac, Sequoia 15.6.1

If I go to the profile folder, exit firefox then copy and paste the folder to a backup location. The attempted backup fails. Something about permissions as I recall. I have tried many things unsuccessfully. Something has changed that does not allow for the backup of profile folders. Adding a backup option to the profile manager would be nice. I noticed some people have found work-arounds but I need a straight-forward procedure for backing up my folders. No work-arounds please, just a simple procedure. May I ask for help with this issue?

On a new computer, I entered a new Mozilla password, and Mozilla on new computer won't sync with my old bookmarks, which still are on old computer.

Sync doesn't add these bookmarks.

Both computers now sign in with new PW. I can't go back to old PW (doesn't have current standards).

How to get sync to work, and get my bookmarks on new computer?

I can't tell if I've got a browser hijacker. I'm on an android phone on Firefox and using duckduckgo. I have avast antivirus, but the free version. And in the last 24 hours, sometimes when I type inquiries, usually if its a string of letters and numbers, it will redirect me to a website unrelated to my search. For instance, typing in mig23(looking up fighter jet), it won't do searches and instead will take me to some UK boat website. "OICE", a typo, takes me to a NASA OIIR website. It appears to be close to whatever I typed in, but also doesn't happen every single time. This doesn't happen on my other devices, but it also doesn't happen when I use google in Firefox. However, it is possible that this happened on my laptop but I do not have access to it right now.

I am always in fear of viruses and I desperately want this to be a computer glitch. I cleared the DNS cache, I deleted some files and apps and rebooted and its still happening! I don't know what file could've done it.

Like the title says. I've removed this (see img) page from history and tried hitting SHIFT + DEL with the suggestion highlighted, but it just persists. How can I get rid of it?
