I regularly receive email advice (via Thunderbird) from companies to access my account with them.

Two days ago I selected a link to direct me to the secure form. I note that the exact same link has been provided to me in the past and opened. This time however I was confronted with "Invalid Address".

I was advised to copy the link into another browser; I chose "Edge" and the form opened.

I have cleared FireFox's "Recent History" but that still gives no joy.

How do I overcome this?

Is there something in a configuration file that I might edit, or a potentially corrupt Windows Registry entry?

I do not use any Windows Security depending upon Bitdefender (which has never created any issues of this nature).

Hello Since the last update I have not been able to sign in to Government sites using my bank as a sign in partner. I am able to sign in using Google Chrome but I prefer Firefox for my daily browser. I have cleared cache and all data and am still unable to sign in. I am using Version 137.0.1 (64-bit)

Your help will be appreciated.

Currently I must sign on to Frontline Education to see if there are any new substitute teaching job offers available 24/7. I would like to receive audible notifications on my Macbook Pro or Apple ipad or Apple iphone to alert me to a new job offer so that I can then go to my device and look at the job offer. Thank you. Hi I am a long time user of firefox because i love its customization and tools available to help me with my work and personal life. Recently i have been ordered to remove Firefox from the company laptop as it was deemed insecure by the IT and security department. I have been told to use MS edge and Google's Chrome. Their reasoning is "An inconsistent comparator in xslt/txNodeSorter could have resulted in potentially exploitable out-of-bounds access. Only affected version 122 and later. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 136 and Firefox ESR < 128.8." I do not know what this means. Is there something i can tell my IT department to argue against the directive to only use either Edge or Chrome. Best regards, F Silva

I'm encountering some difficulties with my current account, which is locked out. I would like to request assistance from the support team to help me delete my account and remove my personal information from the platform. However, I'm having trouble finding the contact information for the support team. I couldn't locate their email address or phone number, and I'm hesitant to post my personal email address and information on a public forum.

I'm feeling quite frustrated, as I've never encountered such challenges with an app before. It appears that I'm unable to reach the Firefox support team at the moment. Can someone please provide guidance on how I can securely and privately request their assistance in deleting my account and personal information?

I had to create a new account just to post this question because my original account got locked out. This happened because I recently acquired a new phone and didn't transfer the two-step authentication information to my new device.

i am looking for a way to protect myself and my children from accessing or having to see / have shoved down our throat content promoting lgbtq. please provide me a blocker to block agenda driven sex ed and ALL LGBTQ content.

Since the update I've had a few issues, most I was able to fix but this one eludes me. Opening up various news sites I get the "Firefox prevented this page from reloading" error at the top and clicking allow does nothing. Anyone know how to get around this error? I'm not looking to totally disable the FF feature that prevents other pages from loading a different one, but just to browse the website after hitting 'allow'.

I'll preface this by saying that I use a Primary Password (formerly Master Password) to protect my information on my computer.

Today I was going to pay a bill and noticed I couldn't autofill my payment methods. So, I went to my settings to get my payment information to copy paste it. I found out that when I go to look at my payment methods, even with a primary password, I can just double click on my saved CC information and it opens up showing everything. This contrasts with saved passwords where if I were to go look at one of my passwords, I have to confirm my password again before I can look at it. In my opinion, this is a security risk and it's quite odd that it is just readily available like that. There really should be another step to confirm your password before autofilling/checking it in settings. I see there is a 'device sign in' option in settings, but that's not really what I had in mind.

I'd love to hear from you if there is a way to add this protection or if there is technical reasoning behind this. Thank you,

I have a question regarding the permission requests of the Simple Tab Groups extension by Drive4ik.

As I'm sure many of you know, this extension needs to: This add-on needs to:

• Download files and read and modify the browser’s download history
• Monitor extension usage and manage themes
• Display notifications to you
• Access recently closed tabs
• Hide and show browser tabs
• Access browser tabs
• Store unlimited amount of client-side data
• Access your data for all websites

This add-on may also ask to: Read and modify bookmarks

Theoretically, I find this extension useful but I am concerned about the "Access your data for all websites" requirement. I read through Mozilla's permission request messages for Firefox extensions documentation and it seems like granting this extension these permissions would be a huge risk for the work I do– investigative journalism. It seems like I'll trade organizational benefits for a wider attack surface.

Can anyone speak more about the risks involved with using this extension, the trustworthiness of the developer, and why it needs the "Access your data for all websites" capability?

I look at porn on my Android phone. I use Private Browsing to do so. Why are my Private Browsing addresses appearing as Firefox Suggest results that appear outside of Private Browsing as well? And why does Pornhub show me a personalized home page when I'm using Private Browsing? None of these pages are in my browser history because I've only accessed them via Private Browsing. But these "features" sort of defeat the purpose of it don't you think?

I've just switched from Chrome to Firefox and never had this issue with Chrome.

Lately I've had to reload/refresh pages more frequently because of download issues. In order to the in FF I need to press the F5 key. To do the same thing in either Edge or Chrome all I need to do is right click and a little popup screen shows me the reload/refresh right there. Much more convenient to use. FF should use a similar technique.

So basically, I'm trying to add a 2FA code, homever when I scanned the code using google authenticator, everything went normal. Homever, when I try to put in the code, firefox only lets me put 5 digits but not 6. Any solutions?

I clicked on a link in an email and FF began opening it. It then stopped and gave a message that the site was causing FF to run slow. That was an understatement, as FF never continued and didn't fully open the site. I copied the URL to Chrome and it had no problem quickly opening the site. What do I need to fix in FF to make it happy again? I am on endeavourOS (linux). Whenever I try to upload images for a profile picture to sites like youtube or X, the image becomes corrupted and doesn't upload correctly. It did this with whatsapp too and I had to use a separate app for it. Other posts said that disabling "privacy.resistFingerprinting" would fix it, but it's already disabled.

Attached below are an example of this bug and the contents of this image when viewed on a text editor.

The camera won't turn on in the Firefox browser for Google Meet or Zoom. It says it can't find the camera or that it's turned off. I have checked my Windows 11 settings and desktop apps have access to the camera. I have also checked the settings for each of the sites and use of the camera and microphone are allowed. Autoplay is enabled too. The camera works fine in other apps and in other browsers.
