How to set up browser to NewTab open the same Home Page as browser starts? Can't find the answer

I cannot play instagram videos at all, or twitter videos, tumblr videos or vines on tumblr (vines on the vine site do work). Various other random players which I don't know the name of (such as the first video on this page http://www.rugbydump.com/2016/05/5073/ben-botica-inexplicably-kicks-the-ball-away-as-harlequins-attempt-late-comeback-in-final) don't work either. As the title states, the option media.windows-media-foundation.enabled in about:config doesn't exist, and neither does media.fragmented-mp4.enabled. Changing media.mediasource.mp4.enabled or media.wmf.enabled to false does not fix the problem. I have started Firefox in safe mode, reset it and reinstalled it. I've also downloaded the feature pack for Windows 10. My graphics card drivers, plugins and add-ons are all up to date. Other data given below. This is becoming incredibly frustrating.

Just installed FF46 on a Kubuntu system this morning. All my context/popup/hover menus have changed to Black text (on original dark background).

How can I change text color to White as it was up to FF46??

I have tried to take a snapshot but it is impossible since I need the mouse to select and the hover menus dissapear as soon as I move the mouse. Catch 22. (edit: found a way to get screenshot)

I have had this issue since version 43. I am now running version 46.01 on a Mac OS Yosemite and when I reinstall version 46.01 after a few days I get a message that a a newer version already exists. Firefox reports 46.01 and at the time of this comment June-3-2016 there is no newer version. If I reinstall say the next day I don't get the newer version message.

What is changing in Firefox that makes reinstalling the same version believe it is installing over a newer version?

I transferred from safari, told it to get my old passwords and it is asking me to log in to face book. I long ago forgot my password for face book. Does it take five minutes or 5 days? I'll check again after this post.

When ever Acrobat reader is required to display something I get a message saying it is out of date. I can activate and remember it and then the page displays but the next time it is needed I have to go through the same thing.

Yesterday, those options were showing when i was using firefox on my laptop, but today they just dissapeared, they wont appear when i right-click, i tried uninstalling and reinstalling, i tired resetting in about:config, nothing is working.

When searching Google, the response below is frequently displayed and Google is blocked. Exception option is NOT displayed when "Advance" is selected, as seen below. (FYI: No amount of research has yielded a permanent fix. Downgrade to ver 46.0.1 was fine for sometime, then it broke. Ver 20 does not have this problem; but has other serious security issues. OS: Win 7 Pro SP1. Asus i3 64-bit 4Gb)

The Norton Vault has been unavailable since Fall of 2015. I've seen this question asked before and each time the response is that Mozilla is working on it. Can you tell me when this will be available, please? I understand I can open the vault in a different browser and cut and paste, but I'm referring to the autofill feature that I've used for years. Thanks.

In my opinion your decision of forcing the disabling of unsigned extensions with no override option is a poor one.

For the average user, it would have no real advantage as they wouldn't have been able to find the option to re-enable the extensions in the first place.

For the advanced user, it's harmful as you oblige them, me included, to downgrade the whole Firefox as to keep the needed extensions. So to prevent a small and remote security issue that an extension might or might not have, you create a much bigger and certain security issue forcing the use of an older version of the application.

Please rethink your policy because no one likes to have a strict mother controlling their life.

I have a new Win10 PC with FF 46.01 installed. It is very slow--15 seconds or more--to reveal and respond to each keystroke and mouse click. It crashes frequently. I have uninstalled and reinstalled without solving the problems. I have no problems with Chrome and Edge, or any other software I have installed.

I've seen some rumors as to why 1-star and 2-star reviews have been being deleted on the pages of add-ons such as Adblock Plus: the most notable ones being that either the developers themselves somehow have the ability to delete these reviews, or some random people have been simply flagging them all for deletion and whoever is reviewing these deletion requests is simply complying (if so, then they seem to be using rather lax criteria).

Either way, I haven't seen official responses regarding this odd occurrence, from either developers or Mozilla. It's rather hard to trust anything that has all of its negative reviews deleted with no explanation, so I think this needs to be addressed.

(I would also like to know if I posted this question to the correct place. It's not about Mozilla Firefox itself, but it is about something integral to the Firefox experience.)
