Since the last FF update (115.5esr, Windows 8.1 Pro) I keep getting the following error message when I try to access one particular website:

The page isn’t redirecting properly An error occurred during a connection to www.doordash.com.

   This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

I have tried virtually all the solutions suggested online. I have cleared my cache, deleted cookies and site data, and I have tried to access the site using Troubleshooting mode, all to no avail. I contacted support for the particular website and they have no difficulty accessing the site with FF.

I can access the site in question with the Chrome browser, so the issue would appear to lie with Mozilla. I use this particular site frequently and would much prefer to continue to access it using it with FF, as I have done for over a year. I just installed Chrome on my Windows 8.1 Pro PC solely for the purposes of accessing this one website.

Help in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Lately, far too many websites I try to open, simply won't! Sometimes it's via links from my home page, sometimes it's links within various websites, like a newspaper, or social media, just whatever, no rhyme nor reason, nor consistency. Even when I manually input the url, nothing happens, the browser just sits there, nothing happens. I've restarted, I've refreshed websites, clicked on "open in new tab/window", nothing gets it to work.

Hi, I have spent hours this morning trying to diagnose a problem with Firefox Update 115. It is Unstable and I can't Stream Music from Youtube or even Amazon Music. Web pages from sites I use everyday are out of order when displaying text as well. It's a real mess. Now, here's the kicker, I haven't been able to stream my music from both aforementioned websites, but get this, if I use the Incognito Browser, Music streams No Problem. Seems like you guys broke something in the main FF browser. I have spent hours trying to debug this and have concluded that your most recent Update has broken streaming links. I can't rollback the Update and that is even more frustrating. Please Fix This. BTW, your Help Pages really stink. Sorry, but they offer no help when the problem is clearly FF. I'm using a new PC with Windows 11 and find that I, inadvertently close Firefox with 16-20 open tabs. Most of the time when I reopen FF, the tabs are still there, as expected. Sometimes, the browser opens with just a new home page and the pinned and other tabs have closed. I can sometimes see the 16ish tabs in history and reopen them. More recently, I find that they are not in history as a number of tabs so I have to set them up again. This rarely happened on my old PC and if it did I would have bookmarked a group of open tabs that I used regularly.

The failsafe FF General setting is as follows: Startup, Open previous windows and tabs.

I don't know how I can stop losing my open Tabs but if I was able to bookmark all the open tabs to be used in case of a problem I would feel more secure.

How do I bookmark ALL or several my open tabs?

I've been having a weird issue with my text glitching only in my Firefox browser. Initially I thought it might be my monitor but then I realized the issue only presents itself in my Firefox browser. Literally no other program is affected.

I've done a reset, I've uninstalled and done a clean install, I've deleted all Firefox files and re-downloaded the browser. The issue immediately pops up again.

How can I completely remove the tab bar and regain 3/4 of an inch of screen space. It would be nice if Mozilla would just have a on/off button for it. I've tried creating a folder called Chrome within my Firefox Profile folder. I then created a text file within that folder and named it userChrome.css. I put this string in the text file #tabbrowser-tabs { visibility: collapse !important; } This did not work, does anyone know the best method for getting rid of the annoying tab bar?

I try to set up Firefox Sync on Firefox on a VM on Fedora. I enter my e-mail and password. Then I get the message (after retrying): "Email resent. Add accounts@firefox.com to your contacts to ensure a smooth delivery." However, I do not get the email with the confirmation code.

My email address has this format j@xxxxx.org

Sometimes when I go to click on songs on YouTube it doesn't show the whole bottom part of the video's screen. It has some of it but does not show the fullscreen mode option to click on. When i open up Chrome it's fine. I'm using the newest update of Firefox.

I got a new Asus Vivobook Core i9 16G Ram I did the basic Windows 11 installation for the Laptop and installed TotalAV.

After all Windows 11 updates passed, I wanted to install FireFox anf got this issue: Firefox cannot start correctly (0xc0000022) after version ..

I tried several time to close all Firefox task, uninstall, remove all files from existing profiles (local, roaming, etc...) so as all files under "Programs"". I made sure to get the latest code, but I always get back to this issue.

While opening FireFox, I immediatly get a Crashed Tab reported. Even the Settings are not opening in a Tab.

I even tried to use a older version. Same issue... Never the less I can Update the older version in "About FireFox".

After update I see 122 installed

I used FireFox for many years, and wanted to continue.. In the meantime I installed Opera

I've just switched to firefox from brave, and theres no button on twitch to enable picture in picture. Using the keyboard shortcut (cmd+option+shift+]) works, but I'd much rather click something on the screen. On brave there used to be a picture in picture button alongside settings, theatre mode, and fullscreen buttons, but on firefox this has been replaced by a clip button. There's no option for it if I right click (this works on youtube), and no option in the address bar for either twitch or youtube. I've tried disabling all my extensions and lowering protections but nothing seems to work.

With the new v85 of Firefox... for Microsoft Print to PDF...

the defaults for print headers & footers has changed and is no longer available to edit or even view. It seems as though my settings remain in place for other printing options like my physical printer but even there the options are not editable or viewable.

There used to be a "page setup" option but I have not be able to find this anywhere anymore.

I'm assuming that it has to do with the bug fix for pdf printing but doesn't seem that it should be an intended outcome of the fix.

This is a recurring problem. I have just been on to Vodafone who have tweaked my router as my speeds, download and upload, were very erratic, and upload speed often zero so connections failed. Sometimes my phone speeds were similar but not always. The Speedtest by Oopla desktop app also showed erratic results but often when they were OK the web-based test on Firefox was much worse, with upload speed zero. When I started this Firefox showed upload speed zero. Now Firefox shows upload 18Mbps. This variability keeps happening and is driving me spare, as even emails often fail to go through - I use Thunderbird. I shall see how things go tomorrow and tell you how it is going.

Firefox 117.0.1 (64 bit) Build 20230912013654 Windows 10 Home - Version 22H2 OS build 19045.3448 The link to download my Sears credit card statement in pdf form has disappeared when accessing the website (https://citiretailservices.citibankonline.com) with Firefox. It still appears and works normally when the website is accessed with Chrome. I have the uBlock Origin extension installed on Firefox, but it is disabled on the Sears website. Screencaps attached.

Whenever i put javascript code into the url box when making a bookmark, (trying to add a bookmarklet to my bookmark bar.) after i click save, the bookmark just doesnt even show up, its like firefox isnt even making the bookmark. i dont even know whats going on it was doing this before i had any addons

I'm getting unwanted redirects when using google search on certain sites. I have cleared the cache, turned off extensions and scanned for malware (none found). See the attached screenshot.

West Virginia has a website to download old death certificates, but they wont load. There's nothing but a blank page. I'm not positive that it's a Firefox problem, as a friend of mine who uses IE cant load them either, however, she CAN load them on her Tablet. As a historian, I really need to get these records for my research, so I was wondering if someone could go to the site and see of the records appear for them to be downloaded. Ever since I update Firefox a month or so ago, every time I open the browser it wants to restore my last session. I've went into setting and check it to make sure I did have it on. I even turn it on, rebooted and the took it off and rebooted. Nothing seams to work. Any help?

For a few months, I have encountered an issue with videos playback on my browser. On most websites (including Reddit, Dailymotion, and even some videos on YouTube), whenever I scrub back a video, it will stop for about ten seconds, while the audio keeps playing.

My current extensions are: Metamask, Bionic Reader, uBlock Origin, Return Youtube Dislike, and TWP Translate Web Pages. I have tried using Troubleshooting mode, but the problem persisted, so I think it's not because of my extension.

My OS is Opensuse Tumbleweed, with Firefox version 155.0.3. I didn't have this issue with Firefox ESR on my previous Debian 11 installation. I hope someone can find a solution for this, as it is extremely troublesome switching to Chrome whenever I want to watch videos.

Can I transfer my existing Firefox profile on the Windows 7 machine to a new installation on a new Win10Pro machine by copying the profile from the "AppData" location onto a pen drive, and then copying that into the comparable folder in the new machine.

I assume if I can I will then need to make the copied profile the default one using profile manager?
