When I opened up Firefox this evening, websites stopped working if "DNS over HTTPS" is set to "Max Protection". In some instances, such as YouTube, the website loads, but it acts like you're offline and tells me to turn on my Wi-Fi even though it's already on and running fine. Weirdly, it seems that setting DNS over HTTPS to Max Protection, loading a website, set DNS over HTTPS to a lower setting, and then reloading the website fixes the issue, but it'd still be nice if we didn't have to go through the hassle at all. Online purchases only work on about 50% of the websites I buy on. The most recent one was buying a gift card from Whole Foods. This is becoming so ANNOYING; before I finally switch to another browser, does anyone know how to fix this?

Hello, you keep coming up with new and different ways to use Firefox, but you are not able to fix it to where Firefox can be used with too many websites. I am constantly having to use Microsoft Edge to connect to Hulu and The Hartford Ins. Co., just to name two which I use frequently. I don't like it, especially the problem with Hulu, which I use a lot, being retired. There are several other websites with which I have problems when I use Firefox, but can't think of them right now because I use them much less frequently.

I would be eternally grateful if you could get those problems fixed once and for all. Oh yeah, I do contribute do Mozilla once or twice per year.

How to search for installed (both enabled and disabled) addons extensions in Firefox browser like chrome does via "chrome://extensions/" in 2025?

It is quite surprising that in 2024-25, firefox still doesnt have any option to search for installed addons via "about:addons". You can only search for addon site, not for those installed on your device and profile and browser.

Is firefox team really updating their browser for 2025 when compared to chrome?

for some reason my youtube tv claims it needs to be updated so can not watch tv in settings it claims to be the latest version 115.29 but google claims it is 144.01 so have no clue how to update if that is why I can not watch tv trying to ask mozilla is pointless with there b/s excuses which is part of firefox

I've been using Firefox for several months since switching over when the migration to Manifest V3 in Chrome gained momentum. Initially, Firefox worked flawlessly, but over the past couple of months I've encountered a recurring issue where downloads often fail -- sometimes right at the start and other times midway through -- especially with larger files.

I've encountered this issue across multiple machines, and changing the destination drive where the files are saved hasn't made any difference. Interestingly, the same files download without any issues in Chrome, so I've ended up relying on Chrome exclusively for downloads.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

I am looking to turn on review checker and cannot see how to do it. I don't have the price tag icon displayed nor do I have any reference to Review Checker in my settings. I'm wondering if my version of Firefox supports it (133.0). Any ideas?
