I attempted to put in an address of what I thought was a website today on mozilla. I soon found out that it was not available or a proper website.

Now I am getting alarming notices with heading Mozilla Firefox all via what looks like an Indian website, saying 1. Click to secure your 2. Trojan detected Fix it now. 3. Critical Error. Click here to remove them.

I have not clicked on any part apart from the x top right to remove the notifications. I can send photos of them

I have scanned with my Windows Security repeatedly and nothing.

PS. The messages are obstinate to remove and it takes effort to x them.

Youtube does not work. It shows somekind of default page that is essentially blank. It does say: "Try searching to get started" and "Start watching videos to help us build a feed of videos you'll love."

But it will not respond when I attempt to search anything.

Problem: Cannot clear history from Firefix Started with Menu and clear recent history. Looked everyplace there was information about history. Tried removing individual entries. Ran Malwarebytes. Dell XPS 8960 with Windows 11 less than one year old. No response with any steps I take. Also, there are no error messages. I am unable to clear history no matter which tools I use. No error messages. All the suggestions I tried had no effect. Used Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox.

Oddly, I tried my older Dell Inspiron 3650, with Windows 10, and clear history works like it should. 

Used Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox. So far, all the advice goes down the same path; history, clean recent history, manage history, etc.. Tried refreshing and today I deleted Firefox app and reloaded. No improvement. Results same with Verify Integrity > Task: checkIntegrity - Unable to fix corruption, places.sqlite will be replaced on next startup > Task: checkCoherence - The task queue was cleared by an error in another task. > Task: expire - The task queue was cleared by an error in another task. > Task: vacuum - The task queue was cleared by an error in another task. > Task: stats - The task queue was cleared by an error in another task. > Task: _refreshUI - The task queue was cleared by an error in another task. Password box is not live. Works fine on Safari. Works fine on the other (older) computer on Firefox. Only site I am having problems with today. (Know there was a big problem yesterday. Only started 10/21. Running an M1 Mac Mini Firefox 144.0 (aarch64). Mac is running Sequoia 15.6.1.

What do I have to do to get it back up and running? I would rather not have to change the password if i don't have to.

What goes wrong with a simple tracking request on the UPS website? Try my actual case with the following link: https://www.ups.com/track?tracknum=1ZA06B736800244687&loc=fi_FI&requester=QUIC%2F/ The response in Finnish is always: "Emme voi suorittaa seurantapyyntöäsi tällä hetkellä. Yritä myöhemmin uudelleen." A quick and dirty translation is: "We cannot execute your request right now. Try again later".

This is an everlasting problem. But try the exactly same link on Chrome or Edge, and it works fine.

since the uptate to version 144.0.2 I have two problems. the first one is async streaming on platforms eg. youtube or netflix. The videos take a very long time to load. Even if a video has already preloaded and I skip to that area, the video takes an extremely long time to load again. The 2nd problem i have in livestreams eg. live-TV or twitch. The loading time is very long. It is so long that many livestreams are doesn't even able to start. So, it is no longer possible for me to watch livestreams on Firefox. what i've done to fix it: - I deactivated all Add-on's and deleted all browser Data - I made a new profile and deleted the old ones - I reinstalled Firefox

Nothing worked. so pls can you help me that I can use Firefox normally as usual? (sorry for my bad english, I'm from Germany)

I was interested in seeing how the profiles worked so I clicked yes to creating one, but once I set another one up I realised I would have to use a separate Mozilla account on it and I would prefer to keep everything on one browser and account. I tried to delete the profiles but it said it would delete all my bookmarks and data, is there any other way to hit undo or something and go back to the way it was before (without profiles)?

Firefox updated to the latest version and it lost everything. All my saved passwords are gone, all my bookmarks, data, etc. It said I could sign in with my account and it would sync them and bring them all over, it didn't. I can't use the original profile because it says it's outdated, I don't even know if it's the correct profile anyway. What am I supposed to do?

I have been using Firefox for many, many years. As of late I find it is constantly slowing or freezing and when I check with taskmanager I find Firefox has opened and is running as many as 85 processes. I have tried the recommended methods of limiting it...but the performance options do not provide the ability to limit processes as set out in the instructions....and changing the browser.tabs.remote.autostart to false also did not work. If I can't fix this, I will have to stop using Firefox. I am using version 144.0

I keep getting 'notifications' from Mozilla Firefox that McAfee has discovered a virus, Trojan, and other things. They come on the lower right corner of my screen and the address d3mj6kghubcc73dtudhg.kaironero.co.in is along the bottom of the notification. The notifications pop up every time I turn on my computer and go into Firefox and they just keep coming after I dismiss them. They are in small rectangles and have Mozilla Firefox written across the top left and say that McAfee has discovered.... Are they legit or are they spam and how do I stop them? I don't have McAfee installed on my computer which is a desktop. Please help--this is driving me crazy!!!
