Windows 8.1, Firefox 99.0.2, eMail program part of Microsoft Office365 (deployed by university IT department) Login process worked fine for a month or so after implementation of a 2-level authentication (password plus a second method of user's choice - I chose a USB-flash device which [on request] sends a code for 2nd verification). All of the above still works, except that once logged in, the system asks me if it should remember me, or not (i.e., store a cookie or not, for future convenience). I always click "No". Now, when I do that, I get an error number 500, which is completely non-committal: "Something Went Wrong" - with a long garbage code. (See attachment for sample.) Results of tests to see what's wrong: 1) works fine (able to complete eMail login) under Microsoft Edge; 2) works fine on my laptop, running Windows 8.1 and Firefox 94; 3) on the 'problem' computer (desktop), I uninstalled Firefox 99 and downloaded/installed Firefox 93 - "500" error persisted. Just today: removed Firefox/Mozilla (including all folders/files, and Registry entries) then re-installed version 99. Still doesn't work. Let me know what else you need to know.

I don't have time and effort to describe the scenario as I am getting sleepy. But I have pics to describe what I have experienced. But having that experience, I felt started to hesitate downloading your installer of mozilla firefox but I nahhed it to continue installing until I successfully installed mozilla firefox.

I just concern.

using firefox, utube has dropped the feature of being able to remove timestamps on transcripts. Has anyone figured out how to get them back as an option to remove them? Thanks for your help.

Where or to whom can I send a request / recommendation / beg to get the Firefox browser actually to change something? I know what the community will say -- asked and answered. And no disrespect to the community at all -- it's very valuable and has been helpful to me -- but I am interested in putting this request before someone at Mozilla / Firefox who actually has the authority to decide it and do it.

FYI, not to be too mysterious about it, I think the Privacy & Security setting on Notifications would be improved by putting in a permanent option to let a user stop notifications when he or she has taken a screen shot. Allowing it to be paused now requires the user to go back in and change the setting each time he or she opens Firefox. For me, that's dozens of times a day.

On a broader scale, why not give the user the option permanently? We are, I hope, a land and community of people who prefer choice over mandates, even partial ones, when the substance of the choice or mandate does not pose a risk to others.

Firefox updated and Yoroi wallet has stopped working. Failed to access storage. Yoroi needs to access to storage ("IndexedDB") to properly manage wallets. Your browser may either not support IndexedDB or it may be disabled due to your privacy settings (such as private browsing) any Ideas ? my regards

Is there anyway to roll version 115.3 back? It's destroyed my ability to access almost anything on the internet (like my Yahoo mail, the Apple Store, transfer files w/my iPhone and other common tasks. ~ Not happy in San Diego

Hi, I get the below error message when trying to login to visma.net (for work).

json.parse unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data

On this note I have a previous error, loggin in to this site that was fixed by a support member (• accessibility.blockautorefresh = false), but I have the above hurdle left. I can get past it by clicking backspace but thought there might be a better solution - maybe some other setting I can adjust similar to the first fix I got help with.

Fireox has opened for me for years, but now it won't open! I get this error message: Secure Connection Failed

<An error occurred during a connection to package.onesearch.org. Peer’s Certificate has been revoked.

Error code: SEC_ERROR_REVOKED_CERTIFICATE

   The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.>

I can see the package.onesearch.org site trying to open BEFORE Firefox, but I am NOT trying to open it! I never even heard of it! Why would a site open at the same time as Firefox?

How do I delete package.onesearch.org from the opening? It is not in my bookmarks.

Hi,

Like everyone else, I have thousands of bookmarks subdivided into folders. When you use 'Bookmark Manager' in Chrome it opens in a live tab and stays resident in that tab when you use it to open other URLs in new tabs. In Firefox, click to open a URL in a new tab and 'Wham', every time, the Bookmark Manager is gone. It is then a faff to open it again to find a different bookmark.

Unless I'm missing something, this involves opening the same Bookmark Manager in it's own window every time I want a bookmark, which seems ridiculous. If it persisted in its own window that would be something...

Is this correct? Is this a shortcoming and is there a fix for this please?

I tried to follow these Instructions How to remove this adware

1  Run the browser on your PC and go to its Settings (the three dots or three horizontal lines in the menu) 
2   Expand the Privacy and Security options, in the left panel.  
3   Access Site Settings in the menu that opens.
4   In the provided list, identify the adware by its name. 
5   Click on it.
6  Set Notifications, Pop-ups and ads to Block.

These instructions do not correlate to Fox Browser -- How can I get rid of this pop-up on Fox Browser? Any Suggestions? I am running Windows 8.1 and Windows Defender does not seem to find this Adware. Is there a way to find it? By the way, "There is no 'Click Allow' to click . . . . ."

Tried to reset settings. Does not work. Went to about:config, than tab.mo / print.tab_modal.enabled set to false. Did this method before and it worked. Now this method does not work trying to get print preview back. Firefox is my web browser. I am in windows 8.1. Seems like Firefox did some updates again and now I can not get print preview back! WHY DOES NOT FIREFOX LEAVE WILL ENOUGH ALONE WHEN THEY HAVE SOMETHING GOOD? Bring back the old classic print preview button back and leave it. Now how can I get the old print preview button back???? Hello, I am still using windows 8.1 64bit & refuse windows 10, due to high risk privacy, yes predictable hollow words are said, BUT is Microsoft, a greedy un-scrupled money making, money hungry corporate entity, wants us to willing give it our private details voluntarily or under thin layer of extortion.

Hence my sticking to windows 8.1 as I have certain control, mainly updates.

Will Mozilla browsers be specifically supporting older operating systems like windows 8.1 into the coming years, not just months, e.g. until January 2023

Yes is a blunt question, but is eluded against in other responses, maybe is Microsoft buy out to sacrifice mozilla loyal users or similar, same query is for Brave browser. Mozilla I think is last Bastian for decency & morality, a leader in justice & honour.

I constantly battle with Firefox, trying to listen to a radio station I know is fine, as I have been listening to it for years. But recently Firefox hasn't been allowing me to, so I have to try through other browsers. I like Firefox in general, but this really annoys me, as there is no way to allow access to particular sites. Even though a site is listed in the safe ones, it still blocks it and nothing can be done

I had to create a new account so I could migrate all of my firefox info to my new computer. after verifying with the code, i got a error 404 code. when i log in now, it says my account is not active. how do i fix this???

I have windows 8.1 and just downloaded firefox update. Msg said was last update and to download a file for extended coverage until Sept 2024. Did that and now all my previous settings and ALL BOOKMARKS gone !!! How do I get them back? I know there is json file but how do I access and utilize to get bookmarks back? Thanks. I had my Mozilla homepage set to where a new page would open when I clicked on one of my shortcuts. Now its just opening the page right on my homepage instead of a new tab. I can't figure out how to fix this on my laptop. ALSO- my "Recent Activity" is displaying on my homepage and I don't want that. How do I stop that?
