Today was the second time in two weeks I have lost every open tab in Firefox. Previous to this, this problem has not occurred in at least 5 years. What is going on? To utilize data from multiple sites takes a long time to relocate sites and this is becoming unacceptable. Firefox updates are better than this. Thank you for your help.

Seems I've noticed an issue with playing of YouTube videos the last few days. It seems that either the video(s) is slower to load and/or is slower to play. While it's not terribly slower in human time it's slower than normal in computer time. I'm not having this problem in Chrome. Cookies and cache are cleaned multiple times a day. So, I'm a little stumped as to why I'm having this issue. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks

I am running firefox in 5 windows with at least 7 tabs each every time i exit, reopen of update it i have more that 35 Bookmark LEFT Side Bars to close IF i have the patience to close all of them WHICH NEVER HAPPENS... (this is happening since too long, I am pissed off...)

Firefox (current version:137.0.2 64-bit) does not allow drag from outlook on the web and drop on windows 11 file explorer. It shows a forbidden sign when i am dropping on file explorer.

How this problem can be solved?

When searching on the internet, after entering the search name and hitting enter. The search results are on a Yahoo search page. I can't find any malware, extension, add-on that is associated with Yahoo. I did see a log that was in red that was associated with a website I attempted to convert a png file to a ico file. However, after downloading the software it was for converting PDF's to images. so I uninstalled it. it was after that Yahoo showed up. That log in web history was associated with the software.

Since the last update, I believe, because this error occurs constantly and with EVERY video. This is often, not always, the case immediately after updating FF. Now it was fine for a while, but now it's so bad that I'm having trouble watching YT videos properly. Reason: Browser open, logged in to YT. I click on a video to play - video opens, plays maybe 10 to 20 seconds, then playback stops spinning top, I also found out during the last glitch after update that if I switch the resolution briefly, higher or lower doesn't matter - important is to leave the current resolution and switch to another one. And oh wonder - immediately, instantly with the change, the video starts playing. If I wait for this - without doing anything myself, it sometimes takes 30 - 40 seconds for the video to start ... sometimes it just "hangs" ... This is extremely annoying - if it doesn't work, I have to switch browsers... What is also extremely annoying is that it occurs almost regularly after an update ... until the next one possibly, for unknown reasons, does not fix the error, but sometimes mitigates it. Now, however, the disruption/interruption is so massive and totally annoying that I'm thinking of switching. I'm just tired of it ...

My Firefox Browser keeps crashing at random times. I was using Chrome previously and it was worse than the Firefox performance. I just installed 128 GB of brand new DDR5 RAM which I tested in windows with no error. I have no malware on my computer currently. I ran all of the usual checks that you suggested with regard to extensions and cache. Here is the most recent report ID that was generated by Firefox:

I'm attempting to set up Firefox in a newly installed OS and have logged into my Sync account. Many aspects seem to be loaded in, but the status via the Settings is stuck at "Syncing..." despite waiting several hours. Quitting Firefox results in a crash window popping up.

There are no files in the weave/logs directory. The weave/failed directory has multiple json files; most almost completely empty. addons.json has an ID, but that's pretty much it.

Deleting the .mozilla directory and starting over yielded no change in behavior.

I created an account on an old PC, in the account it is visible as kos-work-note, now I am on a new kos-ltop, and there is no data at all in the browser, why is that?

When you right-click on a window thumbnail, a menu should appear, but instead the window thumbnail just disappears. The screenshots show 1) a Firefox mini-window 2) a mini-window that just disappeared when you right-click 3) a mini-window of any other program 4) the menu that appeared is as it should be Otherwise the browser works absolutely fine for a long time. When trying to do a search for a video in YouTube Studio, the search seems to freeze. Doing a similar search in Microsoft Edge works OK. This problem started happening several months ago. I've tried clearing the cache for YouTube pages.

W 11 May, 2025 update really made my computer unable to go online in any way and I had to restore. But FFox updates to have made it impossible to communicate. My phone has trouble s too. I just downloaded firefox for the first time because Chrome disabled uBlocker. I have added uBlocker and 1Password as extensions, but neither of them are working on any webpage at all. I also can't pin extentions. I have restarted firefox and my computer several times. What do I do?

I accidentally uninstalled firefox and need to recover passwords and bookmarks. Can this be done? I run an old dell latitude with Windows 10 and was trying to cleanup apps running in background at startup since it was running very slowly. At one point I saw 2 firefox icons. Connecting your device to WiFi could help fix the issue or try later again." However, I can get into my email through Chrome with no problem so I'm able to continue working. Would uninstalling then reinstalling Firefox help without creating more problems? I would like to continue with Firefox if possible. I have Windows11. Thank you.
