According to Mozilla and all other online instructions for changing Firefox wallpaper, one must click on the Settings icon (pinwheel) in the upper right corner of a new tab. There is no such icon anywhere on the new tab screen. There is no wallpaper to select under the Settings menu (three dashes) in the top right hand corner. I have the latest version of Firefox. What version are these instructions for? And how does one change the Firefox wallpaper? Firefox is my default browser in Ubuntu 2204 LTS.

I have noticed that Firefox has been getting too many updates recently...even as much as 2 updates this week alone. Frankly i'm sick of getting the green icons and pop-ups in the upper right corner. Is there a way in about:blank codes to turn off these stealth downloading behaviour and prompt pop-ups to restart the browser and let me just manually do it in settings when i want to but without notifications ?

I seem to have accidentally set up tab-groups, on desktop. Probably I fat-fingered a shortcut to group some tabs. This is a function I'll never intentionally use — since I'd rather not cut off my fat fingers, is there a way to permanently shut off tab-groups?

I work accessing the configuration pages of equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, APs, etc...) and these messages are very annoying. They disrupt the workflow and are unpleasant.

Today I needed to reboot my browser, and did so they same way i've done countless times before, but when I restarted it only 10 of the 11 windows I had open before closing it were in the "Recently closed windows" section of "History".Please tell me there's some way to recover that window.I had a lot of tabs open in that window that I need back.Why would Firefox just discard it like this?Like I said, i've done this so many times without an issue.

Sometimes when I click on a tab I go to that tab but the tab itself gets moved to the right end of the tab bar, I have no clue what causes this, and it's typically infrequent enough that I've mostly forgotten about it before it happens again

My bookmarks previously would be displayed on the left of the screen when I start Firefox. For some reason someone thought it would be an improvement to force me to use another click to show my bookmarks. Forcing the user to make more clicks is NEVER a good design choice. There seems to be no setting for getting my bookmarks displayed by default. Now there is just a setting whether or not to show a "sidebar" with a button I must click to show the bookmarks. Bring back my bookmarks please, or add a setting to allow me to get them back.

I am currently a victim of grave identity theft over several platforms which prevent me from smooth and segure sign ins, confirmations, password changes , etc. Safari is gravely affected, as a mother browsers. My last resort will be to stick to Firefox/ Mozilla gladly. Any advice to further my viver security? Thankfully…Sergio

I discovered that I cannot sync with my google account protected from 2FA.

In detail:

1. Numbered list item showing something went wrong page when I am trying to login from (about:preferences#sync);
2. Numbered list item Login successful with another account not protected by 2FA

Note that:
