I'm getting announcements of a virus threat that purports to come from Mozilla Firefox. Usually one or all three of the attached small windows that say: 1. "Viruses Found. Antivirus notification. via https+++d512ucanaffc739fe48g.cgm-defender.pro" With a Dismiss button. 2. Attention! Click here to secure your data!. via https+++d512ucanaffc739fe48g.cgm-defender.pro" With a Dismiss button. 3. "System Warning!. Click here to remove them! via https+++d512ucanaffc739fe48g.cgm-defender.pro" With a Dismiss button. I have run full scans and offline scans with MS Defender, but these warnings still appear. Is this legit? I suspect these are a virus of some sort. Either way, how do I deal with this?

Bookmarks keep changing to globe ocon and nothing happens when I cilck on them. I have tried suggested solutions but without success. Can I get technician to access my laptop and sort out like with other Apps support etc?

Hi, Since three or four months, whenever I log into Outlook live, either on Mac or Windows PC, I get a security warning saying that the information will not be secure (Please see attachment.) When I log into the same account, from Edge for example, I do not get the warning popup. I really enjoy using Firefox and would love to continue but this case is worrying me a bit. Any idea to help? When l look at Settings>Updates>Check for updates: I am usually presented with an update such as the one just now: Security Intelligence Update for Microsoft Defender Antivirus - k32267602 (version 1.443.4.0) current channel (broad) completed00 -

After checking for updates I will then go to SETTINGS> IT clearly shows that I am running Windows 11 PRO.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHY IN PLACES THAT ARE TRACKING ME AND TAKING MY PERSONAL INFORMATI0N, THAT IT SH0WS OR SAYS THAT I am running Windows 10? I often see it if I sign into one of the many different accounts that require 2 factor authentication, which will send me a notification alerting me that someone has signed into my account from a NEW DEVICE. OR FROM AN UNKNOWN DEVICE. That is when they ask if I recognize this login and it shows device and location from which the login attempt is happening. IF I answered honestly, (because it is showing a login attempt happening from a (WINDOWS 10 SYSTEM) and my system shows Me that it is running Windows 11 PR0: it would flag as suspicious and my account would get locked up for sure. Instead, because of the odd hour of the night it occurs, that combined with the location I know it is myself and even though it says "ON A SYSTEM RUNNING WIND0WS 10", I force myself to lie and answer that I do recognize the attempt. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP FIND A SOLUTI0N TO THIS ERROR. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE

cleaning up my computer, I accidentally deleted firefox. I had a list of favourite links, and I lost them. Is there any way of recovering my list of favourites?

Hello! See the screenshot please: so, I downloaded à pay-bill, with Firefox (under ubuntu), in private navigation, and I get the file with a padlock-symbol at the end. What means that? What means that for me (on my computer), what means that for à friend, when I sent him the pdt-file (can he open it?). Nota: I understood that I can choose between "delete downloads when closing the privat window" or not. And I choosed not to delete them (but there appears this padlock-symbol). Thanks for your help! I have recently been watching a gentleman rebuild computers and downloaded the videos so I can go over them and learn more about this topic. I recently went to watch an episode and it played in German. I started playing some of them one by one and they are all in different languages. German, English, Spanish, French, Arabic, etc... I have not changed any settings and have no idea what is going on. Has anyone heard of this or knows how to change it back? It plays the same on VLC or MPC-HC. If it was one language or on one player I would think it to be a setting.

for over a week now all efforts to login to my Mozilla has been a time wasting effort, I have followed all the instructions including initial using the correct password, resetting and confirming my New Password; and also entering my32 character account recovery key all to no avail. At each stage the entered characters are indicated in the red box with a writing underneath that it is wrong. All the above parameters are securely stored in my computer and a notebook.

Mozilla, how are you going to solve this problem. Just as you Firefox updated you do not check well to see whether they work well or not, and you push them out to the public. Besides you also force to update my versions which I have not given you permission.

I have been using Firefox for last couple of years. Two days ago I got a bunch of updates, which reminded be of how AOL used to update, ie days of confusion.

SO NOW I CANT EVEN GET ON INTERNET! So here am a few days before Christmas, and can't access my bank account, or stocks. And I had no idea Firefox was going to institute these changes.

I can't express how stupid these unauthorized changes have been (without notification!) to users. Please remove this crap ASAP, and demote the group that thought a week before Christmas was a good time to make changes.

Hello, Randomly but frequently enough to be annoying, Firefox freezes my entire laptop. I have windows 11. It freezes so badly that I have to hold down the on/off button until it goes off. I looked it up outside of Firefox help and, per suggestions, turned off the hardware accelerator. That seemed to work for a little while but now it's happening again with greater frequency. There doesn't seem to be any exact situation that causes it which makes it very hard to diagnose. But it's enough that I'm thinking of looking for another browser so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
