A few versions ago, Firefox (Mac) changed behavior when clicking on a link in an outside program. Specifically, if Firefox is not running and I click a link in Outlook, Firefox opens the clicked link in a tab but also opens my homepage in a second tab. Since I'm only interested in the clicked link at this time I don't want it to open my home page, just the clicked link. This problem is exacerbated by my.yahoo.com which causes a switch from the tab containing the clicked link to the homepage tab.

How do I get Firefox to only open the link that I clicked and not my homepage in addition? This was the normal behavior until a few months ago.

Little thing really but still slightly annoying. why cant i move the Extensions button? I personaly have no need for it on my browser and i really dont like it there! thats where my bookmarks button sits. I use Firefox because its the best and most customizable browser available, so i struggle to understand why this one button is uncustomizable. Please could you unlock the button so it can be places anywhere, like the rest the buttons of your awsome browser, or as in my case, just removed.

Hi, on Windows I've remapped Caps Lock key as (left) Ctrl because both of my Ctrl keys are physically broken. This used to solve the problem in all programs, Firefox including, till Firefox stopped respecting Windows Registry entries. On Firefox I mostly have been using Caps Lock + X, Caps Lock + C and Caps Lock + V for text editing. Now these combinations trigger (random?) actions, like Save Page As, switch current active tab, View Bookmarks Sidebar, View Page Source, etc. This is so frustrating, such shortcuts can only be accessed via Virtual Keyboard.

When starting to type an email address in a login box on, e.g., amazon, Firefox produces a drop-down list of suggested completions using common email domains such as gmail.com and yahoo.com. I never use any of these and want to either suppress the suggestions entirely or customise the list to display domains which I actually use.

How could any sane company do this? There seems to be no "popout" option anywhere except in about:config and its set to false. If I set it to true it doesn't make any difference. It blocks the screen. We all hate these things but clueless software developers don't realize what they're doing.

I use besthomepageever.com as my homepage. When I open Firefox it automatically opens. Today, all I get is a white blank page. I have tried turning off all extensions - that did not work. If I open besthomepageever.com in Edge, it opens correctly to the sign-on page.

Firefox has been randomly crashing for me for months now, which minimizes everything I had up, usually at a bad time. Firefox doesn't even have to be running for it to crash and interrupt what I'm doing.

My cat was sitting lap top with firefox open. It was open to Amazon. Now whenever I open amazon, I am stuck with huge print and the need to scroll to see even small parts of one page. I cannot figure out how to get it back to something near the default size. I have a relatively new Lenovo laptop.

Why do I have to keep signing into my accounts, such as Google, Facebook and Youtube...plus others each week when I go back to the accounts. New, since November 2022, computer and for weeks this doesn't happen, but then each week I have to go through security to get into my account.

Point me somewhere that I can fix this. Last Pass used to have a large red item around where the pocket icon is in the top right but it doesn't appear now. I have downloaded "lastpass_password_manager-4.108.1.7.xpi" and tried to add it to the extensions. But nothing.

Not exactly sure why but the browser is no longer working for my banking. I first noticed it a week ago when I tried to log in and then ended up calling the bank tech support. They told me to use google chrome instead. I have been using Firefox for years and never had a problem. After researching for latest update changes, I tried changing the settings to allow cookies for the session for the bank but this did not work either. Any idea why this is happening? Thank you. I am trying to make Firefox my default browser, but the view for v. 111 (maybe 110?) is really driving me crazy. I need to see lines between my tabs, I need lines on the search bar, I need the active tab to be highlighted. This request makes me feel very persnickety, but I have hit major pain points since Windows 10 and I need everything to be as painless as possible. If you need an idea for a new extension, TextBlaze on Chrome is invaluable and another reason I have hesitated defaulting to Firefox.

when using the browser firefox i often have difficulty deleting emails and have to close & restart the browser before i can, this seems to happen regardless whether i go to another site first or go to outllook first. i expect you may advise i use the app for email but i often use computers that are not my own to access emails & regardless much prefer using the browser. whether the fault lies with outlook or firefox i cant say. cant say i have noticed this issue with other browsers but obviously as i use firefox as my primary browser this is frustrating.
