Hello everyone, I am experiencing this issue since - I suppose - Firefox Sync existed. My main machine has - like any other machine I own - Firefox always up to date and a set of plugins like No-Script, an ad-blocker, a theme, GUI icon disposition and whatnot. When I install Firefox on a new device or machine and then proceed to sync them, I lost the theme across all my synced devices, ALL of the registered sites I have trained No-Script and the adblocker not to block and my GUI settings. In short every new machine with a fresh install and sync of Firefox will wipe and overwrite to its defaults any synced custom configuration I have. Is there a solution for this?

I installed the latest version of Ubuntu on my laptop, and completely erased Windows 11 so that Linux would replace it. I signed in with my Firefox account, and Sync is not working. Tried to install Firefox on Android and sign in, and Sync did not work, again. Or it actually did: It just showed me my search history from the Firefox session I have in Ubuntu. Y'know, the one where Sync wasn't working. I checked about:sync-log but there is nothing in there. I'm new to Ubuntu, what can I do? Can I have my data back?? It might be worth to note that I changed my password while I was loggin in on Ubuntu, since I didn't remember it. Firefox updated to version 131.0 64 bit. Bill payment functions on my banking web site stopped working. I cleared cache and cookies and restarted PC but didn't fix it. I tried using Microsoft Edge and the banking web site worked as always. The bank IT person said it was a Firefox problem. Also, the site says not to block 3rd party cookies, enable cookie tracking and cross-site tracking. In Firefox, I made all changes to allow these things for this site but it still doesn't work. Looks like the latest Firefox update is causing a problem that always worked in the past, while trying to fix something else.

I updated Firefox the other day and now I have to use the sidebar to get to my bookmarks. I want my bookmarks back at the top of the page where they're easy to see and get to. Yes, "Always show" is checked for the bookmarks toolbar under View.

When I open Firefox browser it automatically opens 3 tabs at web sites I have chosen . Now I want Firefox browser to automatically open a 4 th website. It was easy to do this several years ago by clicking on the opened website and moving the address to the home button. But this doesn't seem to work now. Has the process changed or have I just forgotten how to do it?

I know it may sound a bit strange, but I would like to know WHY an extension is not allowed in a private window, so I might understand the reason why I'm not able to diagnose an issue I'm having with fucking amazon who has their cart all over the place for a misconfiguration in firefox that either I did or an extension is causing, however I'm unable to figure out which because I can't enable extensions in private windows, where the issue does not happen, so I'm not able to reproduce and isolate the problem. I accidentally disabled the keyboard shortcut for media browsing. For example, I was able to fast forward by 10 seconds by tapping the right arrow on my keyboard, but this has now been disabled. I cannot figure out how to get back to settings to re-enable this feature (checked online, in Mozilla support pages and on Mozilla community)

I think I tapped Ctrl + left arrow to bring up the settings box when I accidentally disabled the keyboard shortcut. Any help would be appreciated

I have a custom font installed on my PC (Karla), after every reboot of my PC Firefox is set back to default fonts and Karla no longer shows in the list, it will show back up and automatically set itself to Karla once I re-install the font.

How do I prevent Firefox/duckduckgo from instead of opening a newspaper site (eg: www.nytimes.com), INSTEAD opening the site with "feed" in front of it (eg: feed://www.nytimes.com)?

The web browser does this all the time, and I almost never want the site with "feed:" in front of it.

Advice on how to change the settings to prevent this would be welcome. I suspect this happened with an update but ever since has been continuous.

Only happens on my laptop, not on my iPhone. I have an Apple M1 chip MacBookPro, running MacOS Sonoma 14.5. My Firefox browser is the latest version.

When using Firefox I click on a link/hyperlink in my emails it does not recognise the link/hyperlink how do I get it to recognise the link/hyperlink and open it in a new tab. Please N.B. I am using Hotmail & Windows 11 I have search Firefox support and the net and tried a few suggestions without success. Gio

Hello. I was browsing for something on Amazon and I noticed this annoying icon in my search bar as well as a popup asking me to enable some new feature called "Review Checker". I have clicked close, and it appeared again. Then I clicked Not Now. Still I wasn't sure it's completely disabled because the icon in the search bar wasn't gone. I've done extensive search on how to properly disable this feature but I couldn't find a working solution.

Accordingly, I've set browser.shopping.experience2023, browser.shopping.experience2023.ads.enabled, and browser.shopping.experience2023.enabled to FALSE. I restarted Firefox. However, once I got to the product page on Amazon, I still see the Review Checker button in my search bar. This feels like a bug. Should I submit a bug ticket or is there a way to make it disappear for good?

I am trying to use Firefox secure passwords. I can create a secure password, update it when asked, but it doesn't autofill the password when I try to log in. I have the "Autofill User Name and Passwords" box checked in Firefox Preferences. I am on a MacBook Air using Firefox.

After updating firefox nightly on my macbook air m1 all navigation buttons (back, forward, new tab, bookmarks etc.) have dissapeared.

Any idea how to get them back?

I have been searching this theme on Firefox theme extensions for days and I think someone can help me. So I also attached an image of that theme. It's the image when I used it 1 year ago and I just fell in love with that theme.
