Hello!

I found the new "Close Duplicate Tabs" and would like to suggest the following, for improvement for power users.

1) It should be possible to configure an option for what should happen with the duplicate tabs. For example: it should be possible to move all the Duplicate Tabs to a new Window - so I can view all these tabs and compare them (and close them if I want that) Reason: I use a web interface to a database for documentation and sometimes I have more than one tab open with the same article - but the software behind it doesn't notice, it just stores what comes out and so it would happen that an article is accidentally overwritten.

2) According to what criteria are the duplicate tabs compared - can you set options here?

I received a notice when trying to download : We can't connect to server at downloadzip.wolfgangsvault.com . It was suggested that I check that Firefox has permission to access the web ( I might be connected but behind a firewall). Please help . Thanks!

bold textstarting/wanting to use Java. Java is loaded but I am having issues starting to use it. I have Java loaded and installed but ho to starting to use ????

I have disabled sponsored shortcuts in Firefox settings, and did this when I first set up my browser.

Today when launching my browser the first link in my shortcuts was to @Google which I specifically do not use. I do not use google search. I do not want google search. I do not want cookies or content from google.

Why was this sponsored shortcut pushed to my browser after I disabled sponsored shortcuts?

I know it may sound a bit strange, but I would like to know WHY an extension is not allowed in a private window, so I might understand the reason why I'm not able to diagnose an issue I'm having with fucking amazon who has their cart all over the place for a misconfiguration in firefox that either I did or an extension is causing, however I'm unable to figure out which because I can't enable extensions in private windows, where the issue does not happen, so I'm not able to reproduce and isolate the problem. Specifically, this article: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/extensions-private-browsing Plus, I was kinda expecting I could run STG in private too, since it offer such nice and rich grouping and memory management features vanilla FF does not (PS: please take inspiration and bake it inside!!) Please add features so that the recently visited page during the Firefox shortcut does not apply to the shortcut list. I only want to see a fixed shortcut on the shortcut page Even the pages I recently visited have been added to the shortcut, so I have to remove them daily. It's so inconvenient.

I have used Firefox before, and I want to confirm that what i could do in the past is now no longer possible. In the screenshot, you see in the "Home" section, you are able to pick what shows for your home page and new windows. Then you see What you can choose to happen on new tabs. I have set it to pull Google's home page. You used to be able to set the new tabs to whatever you wanted as well. However, you no longer can. Is this the way it is intended to work? If so, this should be rethought. No one wants to set their browser to open a new web page whenever they want to look something up, much less just in general to get to their home page. I understand and know that you can add the home button to the toolbar, but that creates an extra step.

Now if this was intended to be this way, where may I express my dissatisfaction with this option?

I recently explored the backgrounds on Firefox. I choose one of the, because they look really nice. But after I changed my Firefox Data Collection and Use settings the background disappeared.

Why do you have to keep "Allow Firefox to send technical and interaction data to Mozilla" and "Allow Firefox to install and run studies" enabled?

Is there anyway to configure network.http.rcwn.enabled to false via the policy located in the ''C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\distribution'' folder?

I stopped using Firefox because of the level of BS Big-TEch involvement and lack of PRIVACY. I've been using BRAVE. But they are'nt much better. So I'll switch between as I feel fit. Just so you know. My recent irritation is Shortcuts. I like the speed and convenience of CHOOSING & USING my shortcuts.

I do NOT like the option of "sites you save or VISIT" That is NO option. I DO not want YOU choosing to save every site I VISIT and loading onto my screen. This is not a choice. Just because I visit a site WHY do you save it to shortcuts? It's a PITA deleting crap I don't want.

You should ONLY save the sites I CHOOSE to add.

Not rocket science. WHY DO YOU CHOOSE TO DO THIS?

I can see my current usage of Firefox being cut short again at the point of annoyance with this parasitic tech.

Oh and the proccess of creating an account and passwords blah blah just to ask a question that changes sweet FA...... No wonder there's anger. Idiots.

Hi, This is Prabhat. yesterday i was working on google meet, and accidentally i clicked my screen sharing blocked. And now if i want to sharing my screen it's not coming, And allow button showing fade. Plz help me i went to solve in permission screen even there showing correct but still not working to show my screen button.

Try as hard as I may from all the Help screens, I cannt find a solution to how to permanently pin the Bookmark Toolbar to the side of the screen in my version of Firefox which is 129.0.2 in Windows 11. The option to pin the toolbar where the user wants it to appear seems to have vanished. Am I correct?

The only options I can find in Firefox now are Show Toolbar and it will only appear across the top of the screen (unless I Ctrl+B); Show in new tab or Hide.

Ctrl+B will bring up the tool bar, say to the left, but when Firefox is closed and re-opened there is the need to Ctrl+B again to redisplay the toolbar. My experience of Windows 10 was that everytime I opened Firefox my side bar for Bookmarks automatically appeared because I had always been able to pin it there.

Please help to restore the function, if it hasn't been removed through updates.

How do I either stop videos from autoplaying or auto repeating? Either one would be a blessing but I've searched and cannot find an effective way to do it. Blocking in Firefox is not effective. Mostly it seems in facebook, but I believe it repeats all the time on all sites.

I have 2 laptops, one for work and one personally. I was looking to set-up firefox on my personal laptop as well but noticed I cannot open developer console on a specific element by pressing 'q' anymore after right clicking.

This is a significant feature and I would like to keep using it. Is it possible to enable this feature on my personal computer as well? Since it is still enabled on my work device.
