'bold text My updated version of firefox does not have my bookmarks, will not print all pages, will not allow to select print in color, will not display images in downloads only text.

In updated version I lost my Mouse right click screenshot and edit ability of any images, how do I get it back? I rather use the old version of Firefox and wish Firefox does not force us to update

I recently decided to try vertical tabs in Firefox, and can't find a way to search these tabs as I could when they were horizonal, with the downward pointing arrowhead. If this is a feature, please let me know how to add it to my sidebar, and if not, it would be great if this feature could be developed. Thanks!

Hello! I really enjoy using the Firefox browser. I just wanted to suggest that you have an option to write notes in each password profile that can also be secure. My iPhone has a notes section under each password profile. I use it to write info such as my airline advantage number, the email I used with that particular website, membership numbers, etc. I'm getting up there in age, so while I'm working on simplifying my life it helps to make notes to remember stuff. Can you suggest this idea to the right people at Firefox or Mozilla? Thank you for your help and consideration. Carolyn

I couldn't find a proper category for this. Why does Mozilla make it hard to figure out where to report a bug? And then once you find where you need to be, they force you to create an additional login (something EVERYBODY wants to do more than necessary) to actually report the bug.

Yay, just what I want to waste time doing. I was hoping I could create another useless account somewhere with a new username and password to fill up my password manager with more junk. Thanks Mozilla!

Brought to you by the UI designer who thought it would be a good idea to remove all semblance of separation or delineation between individual tabs. This guy probably defiantly refuses to shave a break in the unibrow he got teased for mercilessly in high school.

Is there a way to remove the thumbtacks and rounded edges off the shortcuts in the newest version?

I love Firefox otherwise, but the thumbtacks look terrible and are distracting. I use the shortcuts dozens of times daily to open my most frequent sites.

Please remove the thumbtacks and overly rounded edges in the new version.

Is there a way to hide the thumbtacks?

I found the tab groups more annoying than useful, so I went into about:studies and removed it, but doing so just makes a study entirely disappear with no way to bring it back if you misclicked, so that made me wonder, is removing studies permanent? Is it impossible to opt back in once you've opted out of a particular study?

I'm not particularly regretting my choice in this case, but it made me nervous how easy it would be to lose access to a feature just by accidentally clicking the wrong thing.

In my Firefox Developer install the new tab groups feature seems to now be working like one would expect, but my main Firefox install (Firefox desktop 138.0 (64-bit)) has some issues.

I can add tab groups, add tabs to groups, but left mouse clicking the colored tab header does NOT close the tab group, like it does in Developer browser. Mode of tab group clearly changes, as the tab is either dark or light colored after a mouse click.

I don't remember changing any other settings lately in about:config, except setting tabs.groups feature to true, and I don't have too many extensions installed, and I also tried disabling all the extensions, but that didn't help.

The latest firefox update introduced tab groups, something I've been eagerly waiting for ever since chrome released it!

However, my firefox's tab groups don't hide the tabs correctly. In the video demo I see that when you click on the name of the tab group, it should collapse all the tabs and hide them.

In my firefox, when I click the tab group name, the tabs don't get hidden as expected.

I tried disabling all my extensions and restarting firefox, also tried in private mode, and it still was having the same experience.

Are there any about:config settings that I might have accidentally changed that could be causing this?

It shows the toolbar customization page like in the attached image I've named Customize Toolbar.

In my Firefox (138.0.1 64-bit on Windows 11), it looks like what I'm showing in the attached image I've named My Customize Toolbar.

I like the background shown in the Mozilla documentation. I hate the background I've got. I didn't choose that color. I have no idea where it's coming from. I sure would like to change that disgusting color to white.

How do I do that?

It's safe to say that Mozilla is not heading in the right direction, with each FF release things are gradually getting worse and worse (example: the removal of the search bar ENTER key function, and the recent change of terms that allows mozilla to harvest user data through FF). Optimally, the user would be allowed go back to an older release, but with downgrades come the loss of profile ... etc, which is why I chose to simply stop updating FF completely. Not an ideal situation, but there's no telling what else Mozilla is going to f up in the next hour, week or months.

I thought my troubles were over, except there's now the added nag message, it shows up every few minutes, every time i start the browser, even starting private browsing window will activate the update prompt message. it's tedious having to press "dismiss" 20 times a day, the message itself imposes on page content, and can't be disabled by clicking outside the message box. I've already went into configuration, and activated the silent update message option, but to my amazement, the message came back again in a few hours, and the option was flipped back off.

how do i get rid of this message once and for all? and before mozilla staff clarifies how stupid it is to turn off updates, i understand the risks of my own stupidity, i just don't want to put up with mozilla's.

This is a suggestion on how to delete Bookmarks Unfortunately when backing up bookmarks, then restoring them, this results in many duplications. To be effective there should at least be an option whether or not to accept a duplication. Otherwise the result, in reality becomes unmanageable.

To overcome much of the effort just select what is superfluous and use the Delete key.

An organized Bookmarks menu (using folders) can really make the Internet a place to find anything later that has value in the moment.

I've been using Library techniques for over 40 years. Microsoft's Favorites were my first introduction. Hopefully FF will tend to be very similar. What now exists is difficult to use in a number of ways.

I have notice for some time the Firefox start have updates almost daily it is not too bad whats that bug me is the matter the updates only start show up the information the availability after you log in any account or web site , never in your Firefox Home. you can stay 1 hour with Firefox open with home screen and no alert of updated show 10 second after you login in on email account or enter in any web site the pop up the availability updated what start became annoying .

I would like to be able to view the names of tabs and the address bar. I am able to adjust the page views and all is well there. I do not want to use stronger glasses just to view the tabs and address bar and then switch to another strength of reading glasses.

I you can say love Mozilla Firefox and have been using it for a quite long time now ,but the issue i have with her it is a pure fact that every new version that gets pushed out is worse that previous one by many things like this 138.0.4 that after installing better say updating to it was has it done it has removed all my addressees from URL address bar ,furthermore ,the ones i do not want in previous versions i was like all of us able to delete simply and effectively by pressing shift+ delete which has not been so to say debunked or non working for quite a long time and only way to delete unwanted address from URL bar is to go to History and than find that site and push forget about this site which is annoying because like previous shift + delete which just did it's job of deleting the desired address ,method of deleting unwanted addresses from the URL bar is annoying,frustrating and a glitch in code i guess because without any reason what so ever do you want it or not the deleted address space will be populated by another even more annoying and non needed site and like that in circle ,i just want my URL ADDRESS BAR to be populated with shortcuts to the site which i want and need and that is all nothing more not Firefox to be populating my address bar with everything it get his hands on which frustrates to the point of madness cause in setting Firefox has been customized to populate address bar just with the shortcuts ,but i want them to be shortcuts i want ,i will need, i will use, and i will utilize not populated by some site i visited once 1000 years ago ! Thank you very much on your guidance and listening to problems each new version brings and if someone has a suggestion on how can i stop that and get out of Firefox what i want and need it for thank you i'll will be more than grateful on your support!
