So I just noticed an odd thing today. In the URL bar there is a new icon listed as 'add to taskbar' and 'toggle reader view'. The former interests me more than the latter. I get the idea behind it, but it's not really for me. Is there a way to remove these from the URL bar? I looked in settings, but didn't see anything. So if it's not there, I'm guessing it needs to be fixed in about:config? If so, where do i look for these?

i got the new update but i have one problem. where is the home button on the toolbar? i would like to just press that like before instead of opening a new page and closing the old one

Mozilla sidebar has been replaced by "Choose an AI chatbot to use in the Firefox sidebar." How do I undo this and return to Mozilla standard Firefox sidebar. Not at all what I want to do. Help

New to Mac. I have HDR in Safari, but cannot find out how to enable in FF 140 ESR. I do have Wide Gamut enabled and working.

Is there a way to turn this feature on?

Someone had me do an add-on. I have no idea what the add-on did. Nor do I know how to use the add-on or if it installed correctly. No one gave instruction on how to do what I am asking . So I am stuck with the need to make my scroll bar wider. I need detailed instructions for an idiot on the computer.

i just got a new laptop and have setup my taskbar at the bottom and most frequently used bookmarks at the top. I used to also have a sidebar where i had my entire bookmarks menu but cant figure out how to do that. any ideas?

Recently my Browser was updated and a fairly broad sidebar apperared from nowhere

As an experienced user with Firefox i have always been happy with it - it is just the Browser

WHY DO YOU KEEP ADDING STUFF LIKE SIDEBAR? It is fairly broad with a settings flag at the bottom. I already knew where settings were in menu. Why do i need this broad panel having the effect of decreasing possible width to expand a page if needed.

To me, this is just playing about, copying other browsers that are garbage that's why we use Firefox isn't it. If you try find out how to turn off it becomes a ridiculous unnecessary exercise. If you want to add stuff like this it should be configurable like everything else and not just appear.

It is so irritating i absolutely hate stuff like this, people playing about not improving it. Making it worse. Why are half the users trying to do what i am? - get rid of it.

I have gone through themes and it was no use at all. I could not even see the sidebar to select it to turn it off? No doubt for some other ludicrously complex reason? I just want a simple page to read the internet. Please help!!!!!

On some dark themed websites the dropdown menu has an annoying white border as seen in the image taken on

How do I make the scroll bar always visible? The fact that you have to hover over it before it shows itself is maddening! Makes scrolling so much more difficult and frustrating. If this can't be adjusted I am done with mozilla after many many years of using it.
