i am big of Mozilla, but after recent patches and version update find the hackers are playing havok with the Firefox. every-time i click on my work in particular window, the new tab automatically opens and the advertisement is playing, which distract your working besides hacker threat of stealing your information. these are the sites which get opened in new tab automatically, need urgent help

I am using the Facebook Messenger for Firefox and would like to move the buttons (i.e. the Facebook Icon, the Friend Requests button, the Messages button and the Notifications button) from the Navigation Toolbar to my Bookmarks Toolbar, yet seem to be unable to change the location of any of them by using the "Customize Toolbar" window.

Prior to latest updates Firefox loaded the two websites without issues. Now Colonial First State website will not display login page and reads that I must update my browser. The Commonwealth Bank site allows me to login but will not open any account information. The Commonwealth bank helpdesk told me to use Google Chrome. I did so and it works fine with both websites.

firefox redirects itself to www.qwickster.com every time I open a website or a bookmark warning that i need to update my media player, my antivirus says my pc is clean I cleared all cookies and cache history but it does the same thing again and again this is the only place it doesnt redirect to that site that loads forever and does nothing help please

Problem: Videos on the course pages appear randomly with or without Closed Captions (CC)

 activated. If CC appears activated, then everything functions normally. If CC appears 
 not activated, then the video area expands (normal) but has a light-colored background
 and does not start playing (the start/pause buttons appear, even change, but have
 no effect)

Browser:

 Using Firefox 24.0a1 and 24.0b5 (64bit): Random behaviour. Impossible to play. Tested with
 FF 16.xx (32bit), 17.xx (64bit) too.

Test:

 Go to edx.org, "View all courses", select 'edx Demo' (3 or 4 down), click 'register'
 You'll have to register to edx.org before being able to enter the course (free). 
 Then, go to Week1, Lesson1, and click any of the videos ('envelopes' at the top).
 Here, the page will block, can't select other option, and the video does not start.
 Temporarily switching to "Homework" and back enables the video.

Note: I had to edit the "Troubleshooting" info below, as it exceeded the 30,000 limit. I eliminated variables starting with 'print', which I suspect are not relevant.

When I goggle any topic and try to open the web-link in firefox it opens some other link always. I think some malware links. Firefox version is 24.0. I have cleared all the cookies, history. Still problem remains. Any settings required to solve this?

For time time, both Firefox and Thunderbird keep notifying me of patches. I try to install, and they fail and tell me to install the larger update. I say yes, and it too fails. They tell me to do it manually. I go to the website and it tells me I'm uptodate. This is more annoying that anything else, but seems like a small glitch that could be fixed easily. Could you help?

no matter what i tried i kept getting firefox is already running , i could get rid of it for a few hours then it was back, i tried everything that was suggested everywhere,i remembered i had no trouble with firefox beta and i went back to that and no problems since, why is this?

control from other area seems to be carried in to firefox - cannot not now make the items on screen smaller which causes critical information unavailable for selection - like how to sign out.

I am using Beta 24, but downgraded to release 23 but still Google Groups doesn't load fully. All I get is the Google banner and no messages appear. If I force quit Firefox Beta or Release version it will load once and I have to force quit again to see the contents of a group. Also the groups main page doe not load. I am on Mountain Lion 10.8.4 How do I get Google Groups to load. I have emptied the History and Cache as the support articles say but nothing works.

Since downloading firefox 24 beta my ebay sidebar will not work.I have tried deleting it and reinstalling but it simply does not work. It shows up in my addons and is enabled.
