I‘m somewhat uncertain: I downloaded the Firefox Installer from (I believe) Mozilla.org via Edge. When I tried to Upload the file to VirusTotal I got errors first and it only worked after restarting the laptop.

The file hadn‘t been analyzed so far (which surprised me), 1 out of 72 scanners claimed to have found a Trojan but what bothered me more was that according to VirusTotal the file was compiled in 2018 with Microsoft Visual C/C++ 12.00.8168. It was also somewhat smaller than the last Installer I downloaded (342kb vs. 390kb), although both should be version 18.05.

So I‘m a little concerned if the downloaded file is legitimate?

On my laptop, all my Bookmarks greyed out. They're there, but clicking on them does nothing. There's no URL for any of them. On my IPhone I pressed sync and on my lsptop Mozilla pressed sync, but no success. How do I get them back? (There's thousands!)😳

- Marquis has colonised my search page. - I used to be able to get rid of it temporarily by going into troubleshoot mode and going through that whole process twice - oddly, it never worked first time. - Now that doesn't work. - I can only get to my DuckDuckGo homepage via my bookmarks, which means I can't have more than one page open at a time. Firefox opens by default in Marquis. - I downloaded paid-for antivirus software with no results, so I'm reluctant to get anything else unless I'm sure it will work. - I notice that several people on this thread and elsewhere have reported this intrusion. - Does anyone know what to do about it??

I recently got a new Mac, running Ventura. When I did I lost the second toolbar that used to be in Firefox, the one that shows frequently used programs, like Google, Apple etc. Instructions say to click on Firefox and select Preferences, but there is no Preference under Firefox. I tried looking under Tools and got no where. What do I need to do?

I used to watch Cox Contour all the time on my Macbook Pro. Last night it would not load, nor will it load today. I don't think I saw an update. I cleared cookies, history, cache, turned the computer off and back on . . . still no watchcox.com. Suggestions please? All other websites work. I was able to get it running on Safari. I read somewhere that Firefox no longer supports Flash (don't know what that is) and that may be the problem. Thx!

My screenshots always used to save to my Desktop and open in Preview. Suddenly they've started disappearing off my Desktop within seconds, and if I can open them fast enough, they open in Firefox rather than Preview. I don't want this change. How do I return to the previous method?

Since my upgrade in Firefox my home page when I open it fills only half the screen. I can enlarge it but that's a pain in the rear. Every time I go out of Firefox and then return to the home page it is half the width of the computer screen. How do I get to make the full screen my default? Thanks Richard

I constantly used the auto fill for credit cards, but went to pay for something and it didn't auto fill so I went to settings and there is no auto fill section under privacy and security?? WTH??

Hi I used to often use the Firefox Translations (by Mozilla Firefox) add-on to translate web pages in the browser. It was the one in the screen shot below. It was brilliant and a couple of days ago it disappeared off my screen. When I opened a French webpage there was no button at the top to translate and all I get now is the option to copy and paste 1000 characters into a box! I cannot find the original one - unless this has replaced it? In which case, not happy! The other was much better. Can anyone help me get the original again or recommend something similar? Thanks

Instead of displaying the correct icons for their respective websites, these shortcuts are randomly swapping their images with one another.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Open Firefox.

2. Pin multiple websites to the Shortcuts Section, each with its unique icon.

3. Over time (minutes, hours, or days), observe that the shortcut images have switched places with other shortcuts, leading to a mismatch between the icons and the associated websites.

This issue seems to occur without any user intervention and appears entirely random in its behavior.

The ongoing issue with shortcut image swaps is perplexing and disrupts my browsing experience as I rely on these visual cues for quick and efficient navigation.

If I put a video into full screen mode there is space left at the top of my screen where the desktop menu bar would normally go. I've looked everywhere for solutions but can't find anything that works.

Attached is a screengrab of what I mean, the black space being a video trying to play full screen.

So I installed the Window Titler add on. First the Firefox main general toolbar menu didn't work, which was fixed by closing down every window and Firefox and re-launching.

Now though when I use Yahoo in Firefox, I can't reply, forward or select ANY of the buttons to action an email. Other buttons work. But if I launch Yahoo in Safari they work.

Problem happened exactly as I installed the add-on. Any ideas what's going on?

I have just installed the Window Titler add-on for labelling Firefox windows.

As soon as I did and as soon as I completed the step in the customise page to add Titles to windows (tick bottom left box), I have lost the functionality to select any of the overall standard Firefox Menu options across the top: everything from Firefox to Help are visible as per normal, but I can only actually click on 'Firefox' to make it do anything. File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, Window and Help are all there still but are unclickable - nothing happens on any of them.

I can click the hamburger menu on a window toolbar and select menu options there. But the overall one is as above. How can I get it working?

I get this message everytime I try to log into my Suredividend.com account. I have been a subscriber for quite sometime and until recently been able to log into it. About 2 weeks ago suddenly not able to. After considerable time and effort I was able to contact the folks at Sure dividend and they said that I seemed to be the only one that had this problem as no one else had ever complained. They suggested I reload the webside and start from jump again. I did so with the same result. They also suggested I clear my histories so I did that. Same result. I pay a considerable amount of money to this website and cannot get onto it because Firefox says this website is bad and might steal my ID, password, etc. Help I would cancel but I cannot even do that. What in the world is happening?

For the last two months I am unable to use a Classmates.com webpage that I have been using for 15 years. It suddenly keeps giving me the following error message Secure Connection Failed

I have contacted the company and they keep telling me it's my connection or browser and they can't help me. I know there is probably one setting that somehow is wrong but I can't get anyone to figure it out for me. I have tried everything possible. Can this be a browser setting that will not let me edit anything on this webpage? I can edit on other pages that are basically the same type of program ( reunions for schools) PLEASE HELP. YES, MY SECURITY CERTIFICATE IS PAID UP AND ACTIVE.

Under Settings, Firefox will not allow me to check the box to "Open previous windows and tabs. WHY? It has always worked before. Did the recent iOS update do this?

Ancestry is blaming Firefox for the inability to view DNA matches on their site. Is this true? are you working on it? Do you want me to dump Firefox and use Google Chrome as Ancestry suggests?
