I can't get firefox app to open, I even have to open as administrator and then a window pops up but says it couldn't send the report. I have uninstalled firefox a dozen times and still have the same problem. When I could get on it every time I click on another tab it says tab crashed and to click on restore but it doesn't restore it. I downloaded that damn microsoft one drive and have had problems ever since I did it. I also deleted one drive but still have the problem. I hope you can help since I have so much stuff saved on firefox book marks. I have tried using the trouble shooting but it doesn't work either.

when I attempt to access a URL from search and click on it, a longer url appears in the bar beginning with "doubleclick". I have to manually type the desired URL to get to the site. Many thanks. John

I just got reed of annoying e-mails going to my I Cloud and again today I have 170 junk mails!!!! Is there a way that unsolicited E- mail do not invade my computer as I only want to see the e-mails from people and companies that I know of!!!! I thank you for any tips that you have to offer. Neoma

When I press a hotkey that involves Ctrl (ie. opening a new Tab via Ctrl+T or closing one via Ctrl+W) Ctrl sometimes remains stuck until I press it again. This will cause issues ie. when I open a new tab and try to type a new address (or search term), and Ctrl causes new hotkeys to be executed.

I've even tried launching firefox with a new profile, and on safe mode (firefox --safe-mode -p <something-else-than-usual>), so no bookmarks, cookies or extensions should be causing this, and it will still happen sometimes. The annoying part is that this seems to be an issue with performance. It happens less-often with the empty profile and safe mode, but it still happens, especially if I had just opened a new page some tab, causing the most minute thing for firefox to process.

The problem is probably not the computer specs either (below my specs). Indeed, from what I can tell, firefox does not even seem to function particularily slow in any case. Just this ctrl being stuck seems to happen.

I have also tried disabling hardware-acceleration (and explicitly enabling it), no effect.

Other interesting facts I've discovered: - This for sure does not happen in other programs and - This does not happen with the Ctrl for all the keybinds within firefox. For example, Ctrl+A (for select all) does not trigger this

(I have no idea why it's reporting that I'm using Sway, I'm most certainly only using labwc, maybe labwc just reports sway for some programs for compatibility) I've installed firefox from pacman, and my current version is firefox 134.0.1-1

Are the captions being generated in firefox. I've never had this happen before.The captions are unrelated with I'm doing and are very distracting . Please tell mr how to discontinue them. Thank You

With normal mice, when you scroll you typically scoll in steps which you feel as the mouse wheel feedback.

The issue here is with high resolution scroll wheels, whether that is a knob or a "frictionless" mouse wheel like on higher end logitech mice.

What happens: You slowly rotate the scroll wheel while nothing is happens in firefox, then you get to a certain point and firefox scolls one step, then you continue to slowly rotate the wheel, and eventually firefox scrolls another step.

What should happen: It continuously scolls as you rotate the wheel. This works in chromium browsers and other chromium based apps like discord, steam, etc, it also works in kde settings app, dolphin, okular, etc. But not firefox. It even works in terminal.

Both firefox and thunderbird are like this.

Is there a way to get this working or is it simply not supported in firefox? If so then feature request: get high res scoll wheels to work

The context menu, which I use to select if I want to open a link in another tab (which I do a lot) or in another window (which I do with great regularity) is over flowing with 50+ items. This is beyond ridiculous! A context menu is supposed to provide you functions related to what you are doing. When I just misspelled a the same 50+ options came up. When I right click I expect the context menu, that will work. When I right click on a link and select either open in a "new tab" or "open in a new window" NOTHING happens. When I right click on a misspelled word I do not get a proposed correct word. The context menu is either broken or really needs an overhaul. This just started today after Firefox updated to 134.0

There is no easy way to keyword search for websites on android (google, yt etc.), have to manually configure url for each site which I did on pc as bookmarks but they have no syncing capability and don't work when putting on android app. Also I have to put encoded url, otherwise it shows up as google results. These need to be fixed.
